If you like absurd surcharges, loud alarms at 3 in the morning, and cheap construction, you’ve found your home. As you tour this complex it really does seem like a luxury living space. The leasing office is gorgeous. They have a dog park. They have a great gym! But PLEASE do not let any of this fool you. For starters let’s take a look at the fees they charge. My bill this month included allocated water service, water base fee, allocated sewer service, drainage, sewer fee, trash flat fee, trash«admin» fee, and pest control fee. These fees add $ 70 to my already overpriced rent. Speaking of billing, good luck figuring out when you’ll get your bill. I’ve received it 2 weeks before it was due and I’ve received it 2 weeks after it’s due. But hey make sure you’re consistent with you payments. Let’s now talk about the trendy dog park. First of all, half the owners don’t pick up after their pets. Now this isn’t the management’s fault, but maybe they should use some money from all those fees they charge to install cameras instead of just sending passive aggressive emails about it. The other issue is that’s made from turf. The old management used to sanitize this weekly. This prevented it from smelling. Since GreyStar took over, they have yet to sanitize it. It’s absolutely disgusting and I’m sure is a cesspool for disease. The walls and ceilings are super thin, which I know is a common issue, but I can literally hear my neighbors phone vibrate! The maintenance staff are very friendly, but good luck getting a response in less than a week. There was also a couple months where the complex fire alarm system went off about 12 times in the course of a month. And when I say went off, I’m talking full-on cold war A-bomb alarms that would sound for over an hour. All they did was send email saying it wasn’t their fault and they were working on it. There were no reparations. Perhaps the final straw was the multiple letters, emails and signs begging for 5-star reviews. I guess that’s what brought me here. If you want a 5 star review, you need to actually earn it — free coffee is not enough. On a brighter note. Paige is great and super helpful.

Do not rent here! The place is owned by GreyStar a huge corporation. The only problem they hired a total btch to be the community property manager. Her name is Kristin Emms, be forewarned she is very unpleasant. But more importantly she, as the manager is extremely incompetent which begs the question why she has a job at GreyStar? I first was dealing with Paige Haggy who is one of the leasing people. She is very nice however a total liar or as Kristin put it, «what she told you was incorrect and I will have to talk to her about it.» However, that is not how the world works. When you give someone money as a deposit to hold the apartment, you cannot just keep the deposit when they choose not to rent from you. And more importantly, I notified them 3 and half weeks prior to moving in. She kept saying well you don’t owe anything for the lease? I did not sign the lease you ignorant btch! She claims they can keep my deposit of $ 100, my admin fee of $ 150 and my $ 50 application fee because I had already been approved. However that is not what Paige told me when she had me drop off the paper work. She even wrote on the paper for me, this is to «hold the apartment.» She also told me there were full size stackable washer and dryers in the unit. Total lie, they are tiny. Have to be the smallest washer and dryer I have ever seen. The dog park, please go visit the dog park, the smell from that dog park is like a lake of urine. It is foul and the response, oh it must of just rained. It hasn’t rained in like 30 days. WTF? THESEPEOPLEAREDISHONESTBASTARDS! The rent is way over priced for the size. Do not be fooled by bullsht they tell you prior to moving in, it is all lies! Again, I DIDNOTSIGNANYTHING! And Kristin, I have talked to several people who are in the industry and they are shocked you kept anything but the application fee. Is your community so broke that you need my money to pay your bills? Your leasing agent, who by your own admission told me, yes told me and wrote it down on the leasing paper, it was to «hold» the apartment and that if I decided not to rent, since I have NOTSIGNEDTHELEASE, I would get all but the application fee back. You realize I cancelled 3 and half weeks prior to move in? Are you so incompetent that you do not understand, you are the one who trained Paige, not me? She told me what I would receive back if i did not sign the lease. In your office you kept saying over and over to me, well you do not owe for the lease? Are you stupid? NO obviously I do not owe for the lease because I did not sign the lease. Don’t you get it? You were such a rude btch in your office to me it was disgusting. DONOTRENTHERE! BADPRESSFORWHAT $ 250, WASITWORTHITKRISTENEMMS?
