I really really wanted to like this quirky little food service inside the Tiny Bubbles Coin Laundry, but I can’t! The cookies were very good. I had two of the double chocolate chip… they say they are homemade, but I don’t know that’s completely true because they were incredibly uniform, unlike any cookies I have ever made. Chips and salsa… chips taste like cheap grocery store, thicker corn tortilla chips with no salt or real flavor. Salsa tasted like watered down Pace picante sauce… ick. Two piece chicken strip snack, with one potato wedge and a roll… the roll was awesome! Saved it and made an egg and cheese sandwich at home the next day for breakfast! Chicken strips were very moist but the batter was slightly soggy. They poke holes in the container, so I don’t think the dog happened after it was assembled. One potato wedge, about the size of really fat steak fry… soggy, with mushy potato inside. Meh. Friend got the two piece mixed roasted chicken meal that came with one teeny tiny leg(more like the size of a normal wing) and one small breast. Skin was crunchy and the chicken was super moist. Way too small for the value. Came with two potato wedges and the worst, most watery cole slaw ever. Chicken teriyaki had lots of rice and the chicken was moist and good; however, the veggies were soggy… even the carrot slices! Their«homemade secret recipe teriyaki sauce» was weird… watery, not very sweet, not very savory, just weird. Hubby had teriyaki shrimp and thought the same. Why do places serve a dish that is clearly to be eaten with utensils and leave the tails on the shrimp? Only about 10 itty bitty tails-on shrimp that were rubbery and way overcooked. Lots of white rice and a few of the wimpy, wilty steamed veggies… he ate a few bites and tossed it. An individual side of instant tasting mashed potatoes with very little gravy lasted through two bites, then hit the trash. Same with the overcooked, under sauced, dry macaroni and cheese. All of the items together were $ 33 and the only shining stars were the rolls and cookies. Sad, very sad. Jose, the manager, is friendly, helpful and reall nice, but nice doesn’t fill your belly!
