No me gusto mucho. Sabor no esta muy bueno. Le falta ese toque de sazón. Muy amables pero la comida podría ser mucho mejor. Para cazo de emergencia esta bien.

Tacos La Banqueta Puro DF 2621 Hemphill St, Fort Worth TX76110. .. 817−923−8846 (Puro DF meaning Pure Mexico City style, DF=Federal District, like DC in the USA) One of my Quaker Friends in Fort Worth took me here last Sunday. Wonderful, new Mexican café experience for me. Never been to Mexico. Don’t speak or read Spanish… but I had a wonderful guide for this trip. But my friend agrees with KC H. accessment: «If you want authentic, cheap, and super delicious tacos this place is the place to go! I had at least two of everything and absolutely loved how flavorful the meats were. Other taco places claiming they have authentic street tacos don’t even compare to here.»

LOCATIONMATTERS. This Fort Worth location is WAYBETTER than the Arlington one. It’s a small place located in a quiet area so there’s really not much in terms of scenery but you come here for the food, not the activities(or lack of). If you want authentic, cheap, and super delicious tacos this place is the place to go! I had at least two of everything and absolutely loved how flavorful the meats were. Other taco places claiming they have authentic street tacos don’t even compare to here.

Great authentic Mexican food, friendly service, the TV never shows anything inappropriate so I don’t have to worry about my kids watching soap operas like most Mexican restaurants.

(older lady) was cashier was SORUDE. i had hair on my gordita and she didnt believe me i showed her and told her she can check her camera just so she can see i didnt put any hair on my food i would not put hair on my food that is very disgusting. she brought another gordita and also had hair(small hair) have long hair. my husband went to pay and she still told him what a coincidence !! we paid full price so she would see that we were not trying to eat for free that was never our intention. never going back. btw i did show her the hair it was in the melted cheese. I’ve been to the one in Arlington and had no problem their.

The taqueria is located in an old fast food restaurant building. I ordered the pastor and the asada tacos. I found the tacos at Tacos La Banqueta to be average. Nothing that would inspire me to return. There are too many very good taquerias nearby.

Got to say it’s the best place to have tacos de suadero! They make them original to what I’ve eaten @Mexico City

Cheap and good place to eat, specially their gorditas(they’re fried, not made fresh) are the best thing in the menu. I already tried their tacos, tortas, huaraches, gringas and nothing like the gorditas. Tacos are small and some times with lots of fat on the azada tacos, I tried the Tortas once, not anymore(not so good, for not saying bad) gringas are small. For me when I go there, I only go to eat gorditas,(desebrada, the best). One more thing that I really like is their red salsa it’s good! In overall for what you’re paying it’s worth it! Not open on Sunday’s.

This place has great tacos! I had 2 pastor, 1 lengua, and 1 beef. They are not too greasy and the meat and salsas were really flavorful. I also had a chorizo gordita which was pretty oily, but that is to be expected when you get Mexican style chorizo! I’d definitely come back here again.

Came here yesterday. I had 2 al pastor and one taco de sudadero. I did notice that their tortillas were smaller than other taco places. IMHO quality versus quantity will always prevail. The gorditas did look very yummy as well. Cannot wait to go back and try other items on their menu

This place is THEBEST!!! They serve chicharrón prensado, which is not like the crunchy chicharrón pork rinds, but rather the hydrated pork skin with a generous amount of LARD!!! I’ve NEVER had chicharrón prensado like this outside of Mexico City, where I used to live. They also serve flor de calabaza(zucchini flower) tacos when in season. Never seen that on a menu outside of Mexico either. Friendly and cheap. Best place in DFW! Go, go, go!!!

Okay, went here, confirmed its existence, and ate the sh$@ out of some tacos and gorditas. Quick version: delicious. Longer version: both the Arlington and Fort Worth locations serve their tacos in smaller tortillas than the Bryan St. location in Dallas, which is disappointing. They’re still a pretty good value overall. I mean, you’re paying like $ 7 a head tops for multiple tacos and/or gorditas. The al pastor and bistec are my favorite. They’re not as good as the Dallas location, but still great. I liked the chorizo a little better than Dallas. I have to give a big plus for their gorditas — so delicious and filling. Nothing like an authentic Mexican gordita — filled with your choice of meat. So, while maybe a notch below the original Dallas dive, this is easily five star food.
