I usually love Subway but this one is the pits! They were out of any cheese besides cheddar and told me they were out of mayo.(They actually did have mayo but I had to ask and point to it several times before the employee noticed it.) They had very few drink choices(no juice, poweraid, etc…) which was a shame because the fountain drinks were mixed poorly and were flat. I asked for just a little mayo and ended up with huge globs of it(all the while I’m yelling«that’s enough!!!») We ordered cookies, but they tasted really off and we couldn’t eat them. Just a bad experience over all. Hopefully it was a one-time thing…

Either ‘CLOSED!!!’, ‘CLOSING!!!’, or ‘OUTOFVEGGIES/BREAD’. In anyway they can, this subway location will make you feel bad, just for even asking.

Ok food. Bad service trying to make all sandwich same time asking everyone wht they want. Rude service acting like we work there. Sandwich a tad warm but cheese not melted. Clean restaurant. Also out of flatbread

I have been coming to this Subway restaurant on Rosedale since it opened up a few months ago. The food is what you would expect, after all it is a chain. But I love that it is conveniently located close to my office. I have had three different visits where one staff member has rolled her eyes and become short tempered with me, and other costumers at the line. I thought maybe I was just being picky about my order so I went to another subway to see if I got the same service, but I did not. It’s not me or the other patrons, it’s not even the whole staff at this subway. It is the one employee. I asked for extra vegetables, being willing to pay an up charge if needed, and the lady rolled her eyes at me, and stared at me while making sounds and taking a deep breath. I felt like she was going to climb over the counter and beat me with my sandwich, rather than saying«sir my manager limits how many olives you are allowed to have on your sandwich and you’ve exceeded your limit of 7» or politely explaining that it would be «extra». This«sandwich artist gives her costumers an extra side of attitude. Which is absolutely uncalled for, unnecessary, and just plain rude. Aside from that, the restrooms are always clean. The tables are usually clean, no trash is left to litter. Drinks are always readily available. And the rest of the staff seems very friendly, they even greet you as you walk in through the door and say bye to you as you exit. I don’t pretentiously write this review expecting free food, and whining about my one experience. I have worked in retail, food service, and a variety of jobs where my client came first and their satisfaction was my goal. Sorry for being old school like that, but I have given this restaurant more than one try, I consider myself a regular even. But I feel a certain hostility in the sandwich line whenever this particular employee is behind the counter. I know this location is BRANDNEW, and I expect them to have some ups and downs while they figure out the keys to consistency and success, but costumer service and friendliness should be a no-brainer for any business that wants to keep residual consumers coming back through their doors. I hope this review reaches the franchise owner or corporate offices of Subway Restaurants, so they can retrain this employee. This job is probably important to her, and I would love to see her turn things around for her sake and for Subway’s reputation. Common Jared, send this one employee to retraining!
