The smokiest, dingiest yet friendliest bar I’ve been too in my short time of hanging out around Camp Bowie. Sarah’s Place is one of those type places where you don’t know it exist unless you live around the area or know somebody about it. It’s right next to a convenience/gas store and have a very plain Jane sign. Would definitely come back but I’m not too sure about the smoking part with all the bars here in Funky Town. You bet you’ll have a good time, good buzz and chest pain after a night of hanging out here.

Let’s rate this accordingly people! For a dive bar it is pretty Frickin awesome! Great priced strong drinks, friendly bartenders, and clean restrooms! Yes, it is a bit smokey but key word, DIVEY! Our bartender was personable and attentive. He gave us navigation pointers and chit chatted for a bit while still tending to his other patrons!(I’m all about customer service) Also, did I mention that almost half of the bar greeted us when we walked in; talk about feeling like we were on Cheers! I’d say they gave us a pretty warm welcome and a great start to our Monday. We’re sure to be back!

Super smokey, super white trash, dirty and grungy. To top it all off, the door guy with the bandana over his eyes is a total asshole! When 2am rolled around, instead of asking everyone to leave bc they had to close, he chose to scream profanities at all of the customers. I’m sorry, «Get the F*#% out!» is not how you treat your customers.

The best bar in Fort Worth! Bartenders are awesome. Prices are great and the best karaōke 3 nights a week.

Good place that me and my wife really enjoyed! It seemed like all the karaōke participants had prior experience singing. Only complaint would be that they allow smoking.

Great little dive bar. Clean, good service, big TV’s, juke box, darts and shuffleboard(my fav). A little smoky but not bad. Cool and comfortable place to hang out.

The bathroom here is always crazy clean. Considering this is a «dive bar» that is quite amazing. There is only one room with a lock for each gender though so sometimes you have to wait a bit. On rare occasions I end up going in the men’s room and it is usually very clean for a men’s room. Since the men’s room is also one person there’s no risk of some rando dude walking in. The position of the bathroom is nice too because it is right by the bar so if you are waiting you can order a drink. Just be careful not to lose your place in line.

I just went to Sarahs tonight for the first time, after reading the reviews. I’ve found that I don’t care to go sing at karaōke bars that have college kids or college age kids there. I am more of a serious singer and the kids thete were anything but serious. They only listen or clap for their friends. A single, as I was, got very little response from them. They had a couple older people there, that was tolerated by the young ones, but still never clapped after their performances. So my feelings are, it’s not a place for anyone, let’s say, 30 or over. I tried it once, but won’t go back again. And BTW, my Coors Light was $ 3.75, I can go to many bars where it only costs $ 2.00 — $ 2.50

DON’T GOHERE!!! I was looking for a place to karaōke and have fun on a Wednesday night. Found Sarah’s Place and decided to give it a try… BIGMISTAKE!!! The bar staff was friendly but the DJ was a complete jerk! I went alone tonight and since i was singing and driving myself i decided to stick with water. After my first song was done he asked me if i was drinking tonight. To which i politely explained… Then he tells me that THEYREQUIREPEOPLETOPURCHASEALCOHOLORELSETHEYCAN’T SING… STUPID!!! But, i went to the bar and asked for a Coor’s Light trying to save my night. Bartender informs me that there is a $ 10 min on cc. I told her i was only buying this to get the DJ off my back and asked if she could just do the one beer. NOPE!!! …so if you go karaōke here on a Wednesday night and don’t wanna drink… bring cash, bring a friend, buy them a beer, and sing you fucking heart out!!! FUCKYOUSARAH’S PLACE!!!

My hubby and I went here because previous ratings said there was karaōke. Okay, this place was awesome, granted I’ve only been to a small town place. It has that we’re all a family feel, but still leaves a lot to the imagination as in where the night could lead. Wish we had found it sooner, cause we decided to move back home a couple weeks ago.

I went here after the Rodeo and this place is the epitome of a «Dive Bar» and that is why it gets 5-Stars. This place is like Cheers except it is in Fort Worth, TX. I arrived and was greeted by Cody who immediately got me my favorite drink, a Pabst Blue Ribbon. The drinks prices are average. They have karaōke like 3 nights a weeks with Super Dave. Great cozy atmosphere. Lots of TVs everywhere. The have shuffle board, golden tee, big buck hunter and a touch screen. This place is good for the college crowd or the older crowd too. Bartenders know your name and they are always glad you came. I will return to Sarah’s again. Greatest bar in Cowtown!

I started going to this place 8 years ago. I got to know the regulars and the bartenders. Some of the coolest people on west side. Also it’s owned by an awesome lady who supports other bars and allows her staff to help out those other bars and other bartenders to pick up shifts there. Their drink prices are great and they always have something special happening. Wether it’s free food for the game or a fancy Bloody Mary bar. You have to watch where you park and not park in the back because you will get towed but there is ample parking in the street and across the street in the shopping center. The karaōke crowd here is always fun. They sing along and cheer. Which makes you feel like a rock star. One of my favorite bars on earth. I highly recommend.

One of the best dive bars I’ve been to. The regulars are always friendly and it is a great place to listen to karaōke. If you aren’t the best singer and just want to have fun, people are definitely understanding; however, the are some amazing singers that come to this place and it is enjoyable to listen as well(which I think is rare). The other great thing is that people will do a large variety of music which I like myself. Truth is that I get tired of always hearing the same genre of music be sung and here people go out of their way to sing something unique and entertaining.

This is the best bar in Fort Worth, TX. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Karaōke nights are a blast. Bartenders are professional mixologists. I would go to Sarah’s Place everyday if I could.

Wasn’t sure about Sarah’s place, a little hesitant to go in but so glad I did. Not the most inviting place on the outside but once inside you won’t be disappointed. Friendly bartender, amazing drink prices and strong drinks. A small but homey bar. Loved the prices.

It’s a simple karaōke bar. They were a handful of people when i arrived at 10 on a Monday night… But the room quickly filled up as the night grew. Don’t smoke? You will. Don’t even have to pay for it! I went with a several friends, some that don’t smoke and they thought it was fascinating that you could see the smog. They have a pretty good and modern selection of songs. Some I was pleasantly surprised by. They have some petty serious singers there… I butchered a few songs and didn’t get booed off, so I’m content. Fun crowd. They also have a functional shuffleboard in the back.

I was first brought to Sarah’s Place back in 2007. It hasn’t changed much. It’s still WAY too smoky, with little ventilation AND the karaōke DJ still uses CD’s for the music selection. While he did have a lot of great selection, there was no recent songs. The DJ also has his favorites. I get that there are regulars that go there every night, but come on. They sing the same songs every time. What is wrong with letting some new faces get into the mix, with waiting an hour or more to sing a song. The drinks are cheap and good!

Smoky. Total dive but that’s okay. Did I mention smoky? We managed to snag a table under the only ceiling fan and I was done in about an hour. Too much. Serious on the karaōke front as well. We came on a Wednesday night and I was floored. It was packed to the door and people were belting it out with a long wait list. Maybe it’s not as bad when it’s just a regular night? Cheap drinks but it’s not my scene :)

This is the perfect spot to come sing your heart out to a rather encouraging crowd while drinking cheap, strong drinks. The outside is hilarious — it seems like you are walking into some kind of sketchy night club in the parking lot of a gas station. But the inside is mostly just divey and smokey, with lots of tables and a long bar full of seating and people singing some pretty rad tunes. My 5-star rating does not mean it is the best karaōke bar I have ever been to, but it is certainly the most bad-A one in Fort Worth. They have a really big selection of music, the KJ(karaōke jockey) is not a jerk(so rare!) and people are there to put on a show. Also, it is packed on a Wednesday night, which I think is uncommon in this city. It is probably best to get there early or you will wind up waiting 45 min — 1hr to sing. Also, it is pretty smokey in there… but where is it not?
