I had a chance to volunteer here today making lunch for the families that stay here. So while I can’t speak to the quality of care, I can speak to the people running this facility, as well as how it is setup. It’s a REALLY nice, big clean place! It’s designed to feel more like home than some company building. The rooms have little decks off them facing either the inner courtyard or the streets. It’s a safe facility that you can only enter with a badge(or if they let you in). The kitchen is HUGE and there’s TONS of food there — they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. So the families staying here never have to worry about where there next meal is coming from! And it’s free and open to all residents so they can come and take whatever they’d like whenever they want. It’s an enormous kitchen with plenty of space to work and get the food cooked — granite countertops! There’s also a big area between the kitchen and dining hall where you can place everything you’ve cooked. The courtyard was recently done over about a month ago and it’s beautiful — nice little slide and climbing thing for kids — basketball hoops, etc. It’s not a huge courtyard but a nice area. The facility here has all kinds of stuff — a movie room, a «house dog» who is a black labra-doodle wandering around. Just lots of stuff to help make it feel more homely instead of corporate. Great place. I highly recommend volunteering here — it’s easy and fun and they appreciate it!!!
