Rocco’s Wood Fired Pizza

Like their pizzas. They use great ingredients and the wood fired oven gives the pizzas a great crispy crust. I’m glad I live in their delivery area.

The last 3 times I’ve used Rocco’s for pizza, they have just been amazing. I love their food and only marked their score down for some puzzling service issues. Thankfully, whatever had happened in the past is just that; the past.
I’m happy to say that they have been nailing it over the past few months. Great pizza, wonderful service, and this is one of the few places where I actually enjoy their desserts. They offer a NY style Cheesecake that is delicious. I don’t know if they have it shipped in or if they make it there, and I honestly don’t care. It’s just so good!
If you like pizza, you owe it to yourself to give Rocco’s a try. This place is fantastic and over time they’ve become my favorite pizza in Fort Worth. Thanks Rocco’s! :)

Roccos is a great choice for pizza. It’s a little store, strictly for pizza making, located off of Camp Bowie. They offer delivery but only within a tiny radius around the restaurant. So it’s pick up for most people.
Our usual is margarita primo and a Greek salad. It usually feeds two of us for dinner and lunch the next day.
For pizza, it is a little pricy but it’s a unique (and delicious) type of pizza you can’t get anywhere else.

Literally a 10 minute drive to my apartment, but they won’t deliver to this area? Ok that doesn’t make sense to me but whatever. No business for you.

I LOVE Rocco’s pizza! It’s the best pizza take out– woodfired to perfection, amazing toppings selection, and consistently great! Now that we have moved I wish they would open up another location closer to us!

I first saw this place listed in Fort Worth’s Magazine’s list of best pizza in town. Sidebar, I was first exposed to Fort Worth Magazine because of the free tickets I got from Unilocal for the Fort Worth Top Chef event. Thank you Kendall!
The first time I tried to come by, I didn’t realize that this was a carry out only place. I mean they have a single table sadly sitting inside, but it’s not right for a dine in experience.
So with my new found knowledge I came back when I was ready for some carry out pizza. Boy howdy is it good. They could definitely carry a whole restaurant with this stuff. I mean the ingredients are interesting and gourmet. The crust is crisp and delicious. All due to that gorgeous wood fired brick pizza oven. We did the Margherita Primo and the Vege, both were delicious.
I found the service to be quite good, with some very pleasant workers especially for me showing up half an hour from close on a Friday Night.
Definitely up there as some of the best pizza in DFW. Check it out.

I ordered the Margherita Primo. This place does NOT have traditional Margherita. This is mediocre at best. The crust is thick, which is very shocking, considering this place tries to be «traditional». Also, they put the basil on the pizza AFTER it bakes in the oven. You know what you get? A mouthful of dry basil. A traditional and authentic Margherita pizza has basil on the pizza BEFORE it bakes so you can all the great flavor and aroma from the basil when cooking. Also, to make matters worse, the customer service was horrid. Very pushy and rude on the phone, and no a single thank you when carried out. Very, very sad excuse for a pizzeria.

My favorite pizza place in fort worth hands down! I recommend the margarita pizza, but anything is delicious!

Still lovin’ Rocco’s. Over the year since my first review I’ve experienced some of the same customer service issues described in other reviews, but I’ve ignored them because I dig the pizza. Last night (6÷26÷15) shortly after 5 p.m. I called in an order and spoke with a delightfully polite and pleasant young woman who represented the business professionally. The pizzas showed up 10 minutes earlier than promised and were as delicious as usual. Kudos to Rocco’s for improving their customer interface!

Great pizza but was disappointed it was only takeout. I love wood fired pizza. It’s the best I’ve had since New York City. We had the Alfredo with smoked bacon and red onions.

Hands down the shittiest customer service experience I have ever had, period. First off, I went in for a pick up and I do not live close their location. The dude at the counter was short, and far from friendly. But, this is only where it began. My girl ordered a pizza, salad, garlic bread. No salad was given. When I called, they were unable to refund my money over the phone, despite card purchase. When I asked for all my money back, they asked me to physically bring everything back, and they would refund in person. We hadn’t used these guys in a long time, for a history of being difficult to work with. Now, we’ll never use them again.

This was my first time –I decided to pick up a pie since I was in the area. I got the chicken carbonara which was good (esp if you like onions). I didn’t care much for the crust of the pizza, it was a little bit too tough for my liking. My favorite kind of pizza is the one where the crust is the best part! Overall, the taste was good.

Dry with no flavor. The concept and crust is great, the ingredients are bland and the cheese was skimpy.
For what it cost I say find somewhere else. I was very disappointed! Any awards they won in the past has nothing to do with the present product from my point of view.

When to pick a snack for the night and choose the #3 clam casino with red sauce. The pizza looks good but when I took my first bite I smell something heavy and unpleasant, I decide not to eat it. Looks like the clam where bad. To bad for the $ 22 that I pay for it…

wanted to try a new place with a friend from work on our off day. very cold that day and were wanting bomb pizza.
highly rated we came here. live near lake worth.
they werent licensed to dine in. never heard of a pizza place except b. s papa john or dominos.
but ordered anyway.
long story short we got our order. drove to a sonic a bit aways, had our drinks and ate our cold pizza. it was good pizza but who wants that??? i want my stuff hot!!!
it would be good for people around the neighborhood for delivered, but not any other. would not recommend, and wouldnt return.

Googled «Best Pizza in Fort Worth» and Rocco’s came up. They had me intrigued at delivery wood fired pizza. Since we were visiting, I don’t know if we were in the delivery zone. It was a treat to pick up and enjoy in our hotel. The choose your own toppings was perfect for accommodating all the picky family requests (less cheese, meatball, artichoke and fresh basil) and was super delicious with no leftovers for later snacking. I did not mind paying extra for high quality, original ingredients instead of sloppy, greasy chain offerings. If you can get this product delivered, you are very fortunate indeed. Will visit next time we are in Fort Worth.

I had higher expectations for this place based on the reviews. Tried the vege and 5 cheese pizza. Maybe the meat pizzas are better because I was not impressed… especially for the price. Probably won’t be going back.

Called in an order for delivery and was quoted 35 minutes. After 20 minutes past the quoted time (55 minutes after call and quote) I called back to check on things. I pointed out how long it’s been and got an unapologetic response. It will be there in 4 minutes. 10 minutes later.. it was now an hour. I was basically shut off about the order. I understand there needs to be time for error but after waiting for an hour and not clued in. Call a customer or at least say when they call «im sorry about that.» I have never had the food. Still haven’t. So I can’t say what that’s like. I have no interest in trying it now. No manager on shift, really guys? This is why a minimum wage increase won’t work.

Hands down, without a doubt, the best pizza in Fort Worth.

Good and fast. I wouldn’t use the word «cheap» though, but those three words typically don’t belong together, anyways. As others have pointed out, no, you cannot dine in. Take out or delivery only.
A couple people on here have complained that the medium isn’t enough for two people. That’s bull. A medium can comfortably feed a pregnant woman and her big carnivorous man. If you get a medium from Domino’s, Pizza Hut, etc discount chain, yeah, you’ll still feel hungry afterwards. I attribute this phenomenon to the fabulous ingredients Rocco’s uses (ie., truffle oil, shrimp, goat cheese, clams, you get the point). Personally, my favorite Ft Worth wood-​fired pizza is from Mellow Mushroom, but this place has more gourmet ingredients. Also expect portions of blackened crust. Mellow Mushroom has the perfect crust, but that’s about it in clear superiority.
We’ve lived near here for over three years and have enjoyed everything we’ve tried. We’ve had the «Brooklyn:» Sliced meatball and red onion. My husband especially loves the «Cowtown» which has ranchero sauce and beef sirloin. Recently, we got the «Riviera,» a really rich, fancy pie with goat cheese, artichokes, sun dried tomato and prosciutto. Since it had been a hiatus, I refreshed myself on Unilocal after being annoyed that I didn’t write my own review earlier. I made the mistake of ordering the «XL» size based on some reviews and it made for a couple more additional meals. I remember thinking, «Damn, I need to write down to order mediums from this place!» Considering this my personal ‘note to self’ if you get nothing else from this :]
