Gave Righteous Foods a second try today, last time was about a year ago. I am a customer for this type of food, I eat like this every day. I LOVE what they’re trying to do! So here we go… no parking, had to park far away, got a table, server never came after 10 minutes, added up the salad I wanted, would come to $ 22, just couldn’t do it, walked out, still hadn’t seen a server. Sorry, but I have high expectations for a place that serves $ 22LUNCH salads, everything has to be top notch. Would love it if this place would work for me!

Came here for lunch around 2 pm on a Monday so it wasn’t busy. The parking lot is small and can fit about ten cats or so. They have a new menu as told to us by our server Melissa. She was great and aided in our menu choices. My friend got the shrimp tacos and I had to try the cubano. My friend ate all of her tacos so I would assume they are good. My cubano was great and came with yuca frita dusted in paprika. One weird thing I noticed, and documented in my photo, was that my sandwich came out in two pieces at two different times. I wasn’t sure why that was and didn’t ask but it was odd. Delicious, but odd. The yuca was cooked perfectly. It was underdone or overlooked. Just perfect. The restaurant is right on 7th street on TCU campus. Go here. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing farm to table restaurant. Great service, clean, food is phenomenal. Barbara is great and very knowledgeable about health and nutrition. Very great place to meet a client. Restrooms are clean and comfortable. Again good is full of flavor and nutrition! Highly recommend this place!

Truly fantastic meal– great ambience overall. The outdoor patio is beautiful and intimate, the menu has a great range of local and organic ingredients and thoughtful planning, and the service was good. The cocktail list was particularly revelatory– I had the Himalayan salt Margarita but was also intrigued by many of the garden/juice/herbal based drinks. I had the Farro risotto with cauliflower and a poached egg, and it was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in town.

Very cute place but the food was not up to par on this visit. The pistachio guacamole was a very good starter but could of used a bit more seasoning. The hamburger at $ 18 was also under seasoned and the egg was way undercooked and cold on top. The open face sammie also lacked any special attention. The blt was just ok, nothing to write home about. We did try the lemonade which was delicious but served in a tiny glass overfilled with ice. The staff was also uninterested and never even asked if we wanted anything to close out brunch like coffee etc. No eye contact, felt like we bothered them by coming in. We were just 3 people with a credit card asked to pay $ 80 for a light lunch. We won’t bother you again, I promise.

I’m so addicted to the burger! I had it once and returned nearly every day for a week. This is a burger to crave!

Overrated and overpriced! Wanna pay 8 for a juice! Or how about 14 for two pieces of French toast??? Three people spent 75 on breakfast. A breakfast that was bland and not special. I get that it’s farm to table so healthier and more Eco-friendly but I’ve had MUCH better eco food that didn’t cost a small fortune. Not to mention the staff was more interested in standing behind the bar talking then getting us water or napkins or anything we needed.

So I was cruising around the Arlington Heights area in Funkytown and jonesin’ for some good eats. I stumbled upon this wholesome eatery and decided to check it out! Talk about casual, clean(and good!) grub in a beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant has a very open and airy feel and the patio is perfect for a sunny day lunch. Everything here is fresh, organic… not processed or swimming in something that you can’t describe. It’s ‘soul food’ at its finest… good for the body, mind and spirit inside and out! I enjoyed the wild arugula salad with spiced garbanzos, cherry tomatoes and feta sprinkled in with lemon vinaigrette on the side. The guy at the counter let me try their house brewed kombucha and it was phenomenal so I took some to go. In addition to salads, they have shrimp tacos, organic burgers with yucca fries, pumpkin/cauliflower soups and other tempting items on the menu. It can get a tad pricey depending on what you order but it’s all worth the splurge. This is a great place to meet friends for brunch, lunch or an early dinner! The parking lot is fairly small but there’s lots of spots along the street. Looking fwd to the next visit!

Good food, good service. However… You are going to pay an arm and a leg to eat here and leave hungry. Sorry folks, but I’m from Texas, we need to be fed! For the price they command for a Cuban Sandwich, I expect nothing less than to stuff my face with pork and melted cheese. I hate to write a poor review, because the food really did taste great, but the prices suck. I have eaten across the globe, and for this price range I would expect to have something more. You could pay this price for lunch in California, but you would still get more food, and oh yeah, have a view of the ocean. This place has incredible potential to be a gem of the cultural district. Drop the prices 30%, give me more food, and you’ll have a line outside for all services. Go here if you want to impress your friends with how waste fully you spend your money. BTW, we went down the street to get tacos after lunch we were still so hungry.

Loved that the food here is fresh and local. We order the French toast meaty omelet, and the dark chocolate multigrain waffles with eggs and bacon. Everything was tasty, and I always like when it s dog friendly. We were able to enjoy brunch and bring the pooch along, they provided a dog bowl to give her water. The staff was great and attentive even though they were very busy we couldn’t tell.

So I have been wanting to go to this place since I heard it opened in Fort Worth. On my first day back for Thanksgiving break I went here with a friend. I am so glad I did. I had been on an airplane all morning and I desperately needed some fresh great food. This restaurant is a wonderful addition to Fort Worth cuisine. We ordered two different dishes. Just start we have the guacamole which actually had pistachio in it. Sounds a little weird but it was actually very good and that pita chips were a nice complement with it. We both had their homemade tea which was iced and it was so refreshing . Our lunch order consisted of pork tacos and the chicken curry which was one of the grinders but I had it with no bread and just the salad. Overall I loved both of our meals. We’ve shared and it was an amazing lunch. The atmosphere also grabbed my attention. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day and it was just so relaxing and peaceful. Inside is pretty quirky and I would like to sit there once the weather gets cooler. It also looks like they had a great drink selection as they had a couple cocktails of the day that sounded great however it was a bit too early for me to have one. I cannot wait to go back thank you for coming to Fort Worth!

My sister and I snuck off to this little place on west 7th for a weekday breakfast. I was skeptical because I’m a big old carb loving, meat eater, but this little health hut that serves up vegan specialties left me full and happy! The restaurant has a very organic feel, hippie like. think southern California. Bamboo floors, plain tables and chairs, and a simple patio with their own home grown herbs as décor. Its very calm and would be a great place for a work meeting or for a quiet chat with friends The menu is simplistic and offers organic options, as well as vegan and gluten free choices. And on top of that, they serve cocktails all day long! I order the jalapeño and tomato scramble with a side of uncured bacon. It was served with a piece of toast with guacamole on top. The portion was a bit on the small side, but really its probably the healthy portion im supposed to be eating anyway! Our waitress was a super cool lady who took good care of us, didn’t judge us for drinking beer at breakfast(huzzah!) and chatted with us off and on during our visit making us feel at home. Gotta go back soon, and maybe try some vegan dinner, eh?

All expensiveness aside, this place is a nice place to go when you’re trying to eat a tad healthier. And the portions were bigger than expected! (1) Curried chicken salad grinder aka sandwich — this definitely had a yummy curry flavor! But it wasn’t too overwhelming and still had a light feel to it. And it came with a surprisingly flavor packed salad with white balsamic vinaigrette! Highly recommend this entrée. (2) Shrimp tacos — this was super filling. But the shrimp didn’t have as much flavor as I would have liked. Make sure to add the salsa when you’re eating and it’ll help with the flavor. (3) Botanist d-lite — this juice wasn’t as fruity as I would’ve liked, but it did feel nice to get my vegetables in! (4) Guacamole with pita chips — the guacamole appetizer was actually my favorite dish. They added green and red peppers, which gave it just the right amount of kick! Overall, one of the best healthy restaurants in the area to go to!

This place is just a few steps from campus, so it’s a great spot for a quick bite to eat. I had lunch with a friend here, and I was definitely shocked at the prices. She wanted to order a $ 12 salad, but adding salmon was an additional $ 14. So she opted not to get it. Food — 3⁄5 1. Risotto w/cauliflower — This dish was $ 12, and it was pretty tasty. It was creamy with a nice bite to eat. I think it used whole grains and that was the reason for the grains having a bite to them. I did enjoy the dish, it was creamy and cheesy. However, I was hoping for more cauliflower. It was more like a sprinkling of cauliflower, and the dish was pretty salty. 2. Shrimp tacos — My friend had the shrimp tacos, and she said it was pretty good. The shrimp they used were very small though. Overall, I think Righteous Foods is a great concept. After going to school in Austin, I’m definitely familiar with restaurants like these. However, I don’t think their price is justified. Furthermore, the waitress was pretty nonexistent. My friend has to stand up to find her to get our check. I love acai bowls, so maybe i’ll come back for breakfast to try it.

Saturday brunch review(first time). Ambiance was a 5(comparable to California/Seattle modern/organic good cafes). Service was also a 5(we made a reservation — no issues… Staff are very friendly and attentive). Coffee was a 4(very good roast but not mind blowing). Good was a 3 for me(and 4 for my wife), my criticism to our eggs is that I found the dishes flavorless. Price was Okay for us(but I can understand why locals find this place expensive -$ 50 for breakfast is not common around here. Overall — In perspective, Righteous is a good place to go out for brunch in West 7th… we’ll come back to try the sweet breakfast and I will update my review then.

Parking was horrendous. I mean that. I almost left and went elsewhere. Service was great. Cocktails delicious but very expensive in my opinion. Guacamole app was good, deviled eggs were delicious. Bocaditos were only good, not spectacular. We split the tagliatelle. It was highly under seasoned. Also the spinach was just like mush added on top and the mushrooms added more mush to a pasta that already bordered on over cooked. I ate it because at 14 bucks a plate why wouldn’t I?! The nice part is I’m not overly full like I am after most dinners. But at 100 for two why am I not full?! I’d go back for drinks and that’s all. Maybe. If parking doesn’t suck

Sure this place is expensive with limited parking, but that’s why you sell your car, use the profit for the meal and ride your bike and hang it on one of the many bike racks available for use. All jokes aside, the place really tastes like a homecooked meal. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all provide something different and fresh, just as if you made it at home. Suggestions for breakfast/brunch: Swine burrito — what do they put in their tomatillo sauce? Love? It’s amazing. Suggestions for lunch: The burger and tacos are pretty delish Suggestions for dinner: homemade pistachio guacamole with baked pita chips and the faro risotto topped with egg and cauliflower — you’ll probably really have to sell your car for this meal, but it’s so delicious! It doesn’t stop with the food, the drinks are also to die for. They are all carefully crafted and you can get a detox(non alcoholic deliciousness) or a retox(alcohol makes it even better) liquid concoction. For breakfast they’ve got an insane variety of coffees and espressos as well as blood orange and basil(what? Yum!) Did I mention the patio and the ambiance of the whole place? I feel like I’m inside a Pinterest board. Everything is so cute and simple, it makes me feel so welcome and comfortable. My one suggestion is for them to stay open later and get some cool wi fi. I always want to get some work done here — I think it would be a good market with UNT Ft. Worth just down the road.

Oooh la la. Pricey, yes. But worth it! We don’t have a lot of restaurants like this around, and I think it’s a welcome addition to the city. Healthy, organic, natural foods. There are many restaurants about that claim to serve farm-to-table cuisine, but Righteous Foods has a menu that truly highlights what it means to eat clean. There are so many beautiful options, and nothing is processed. Be sure to let your server know if you have any kind of food allergies and your waiter will take care of you. When you’re serving pure and simple foods it’s not too difficult to figure out what’s gluten free or what’s vegan, etc. The menu is very straightforward. I ordered the Himalayan Red Rice and it was fabulous! Beautifully cooked, deep red rice that had an earthy and nutty flavor, plus brussels sprouts, sweet potato, and shiitake mushrooms. I think my plate could have used a bit more salt, but overall my meal was rich, fresh, and satisfying. I ate it all! $ 12 for the bowl is a pretty reasonable price, but if you add the organic chicken it’s an extra $ 10. That’s a pretty hefty fee for an add-on, but hey. That’s how they do it here at Righteous Foods. The menu has a ton of incredible choices from salads, to sandwiches, to soups and burgers and tacos. I definitely want to order an appetizer or dessert next time I visit. Smoked pistachio guacamole? Ceviche? Organic banana with dark chocolate? Poached pear with rosemary + black pepper ice cream? Definitely, yes please, for sure, OMG. Now let’s talk about cocktails! Again… kind of pricey. $ 10-$ 15 for cocktails and wine, but most beers are $ 5. But wow, these drinks are incredible. Righteous Foods is already juicing up a storm, so be sure to peruse all their healthy drink options. And when you combine these gorgeous fresh juices with high quality organic liquor, you know your cocktail is going to be smooth, strong, and delicious. First I had the basil + dill martini, which is phenomenal green color and tastes so herby fresh. Loved it. Next, I ordered the Blood Orange Crush, which was equally as bright and amazing. Neither were too sweet nor too strong… they were just right. Wonderful! PS: Love the location. Inside it’s bright, modern, humble, and cozy. Their patio is the place to be though; roomy, breezy, and surrounded by planters filled with house-grown herbs. :)

Righteous Foods is new to 7th Steet. I pass by Righteous every month going to the Pharmacy behind it and forget about it until the next month. I usually have my kids with me when I come by here and never stop because I wasn’t sure if they would like it. This morning I didn’t forget about it! I went while the kiddos were in school. It was overdue for mama anyway to have a nice meal to herself. Anyway, Righteous Foods is an organic restaurant, nothing processed here! They say it’s a A healthy dose of friggin awesome. The inside is bright and very relaxing. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and have a Sunday brunch! They have a variety of detox and retox drinks. They have protein drinks as well. They have flavored vinegars you can drink. Mango, pineapple, and several other flavors. They also have Coffee. First off, they give you water and your own glass pitcher. I got the Blood Orange and Basil juice. It had the perfect taste of blood orange and basil.(which I ended up taking to go. My son stole it and loved it. haha) I got the Meaty Omelet, which has pork shoulder with Queso Chihuahua cheese. The sides you pay extra and I got the Niman Ranch Uncured bacon. The bacon was the best I’ve had in awhile. Good flavor and crispy! I really liked my omelet. The pork and cheese together with the egg was delicious. The egg itself was fluffy. Sooo good. My only small little complaint was there was not enough cheese: P. I definitely will be back!

I love the concept behind this 90% organic restaurant. The building is eco-awesome and the location could not be better. I just found it driving around on the way to a meeting. I got there on Tuesday right before a lunch crowd, so I had not waiting issues. I was by myself and was in and out in 30 – 35 minutes(just in time for my meeting). I asked my waiter(who was great and on top of it) what he recommended, and out of his favorites, I went with the risotto. I always ask for the bestsellers or favorites when I am going to a new place. I loved that the risotto has an egg on top(eggmaniac) as a lovely addition to my well-cooked risotto. For a vegetarian dish, it was very tasty(some places keep it bland). My elixir was perfect as well as a little midday refresher. The basil was a perfect touch. The price is similar to True Foods to Lyfe Kitchen in Dallas, so I was not surprised by the price. Next time I want to try the drinking vinegar! I love places that are local/organic/different. Right now, there is little/no competition for this restaurant. I think they would still get 4 stars with other similar restaurants, but time will tell when I go for my next visit. I look forward to it.
