I love this hotel, I stay here every time I visit Fort Worth. After an awful experience at Knights Inn down the street(see my review) my boyfriend and I came here at 10pm to get a room. The guy at the front desk was very nice, knowledgable and professional. The room was clean and nice. I was very happy with it, as I always am. Shower is great, nice TV, fridge and microwave. Breakfast is also good. This is my favorite hotel in Fort Worth.

We had a terrible experience with this hotel from the get go. We booked the room online and accidentally put in the wrong date that we were going. We made the reservation at 10:00 p.m. and of course were a no show. We were charged for a no show. I get that. It’s industry standard. The front desk person… at night… Ashley I think… is very polite and kind. She suggested I speak to the manager Tammy. I called the next day and it was the shortest conversation I ever heard. No way… too bad attitude. We made the new reservation for the right nights later that weekend. Upon check in, there were a few people in front of us. Tammy the manager walked in and out of the front desk area and the line of 3 – 4 couples didn’t effect her at all. Our room, «non smoking», was a mess! The walls and all smelled of smoke. Badly. Even as we left we smelled like we had been at the bar for days. All our clothes smelled of this stale old smoke. I brought this up to Tammy the final day at check out and was told…“It’s a non smoking room.” I explained that the walls or paint or linens or something need to be changed because it is OLD smoke. The TV in the room didn’t work. I walked down to the front desk and Ashley gave me a new remote. Then the TV did work but ONLY on channel 13… public television. Nothing else. The managers response the next day was«oh, that is a such and such problem». I have no idea what she was talking about. I have never had to program a TV in any room. There was NO trash can in the room anywhere! I called down and Ashley said as soon as her manager comes back from a break(from what???) she would bring one up. After we got in later… still no trash can, and we really would not throw things on the floor. So I went to front desk and Ashley pulled one from the office area and sent up with me. Attempted to use the vending machine and Ashley could not break a dollar at the front desk. She gave me one… from the hotel… and the machine ate the dollar. The toilet seat was also totally broke and not connected to the toilet. It was a balancing act not to slide off onto the floor. When I went in the next day, to check out, I wanted to make sure I got a receipt and that no surprise charges were added to our room. Manager Tammy was at the front desk. When she asked me if everything was ok with our stay I told her no. She wanted to know what. I started to tell her. The phone rang and I got a finger held up to wait a minute. She did the business on the phone while I waited. Then wanted to know more from me. I replied just give me a receipt and I will respond in the reviews. She insisted I continue, So I did. Low and behold the phone rang again, and I stood there waiting while she booked someone. I just said Please just give me my receipt. She said it was printing. WOW… slow printer. She wanted to know what else. I just said let me get out of here before the phone rings. SHe said that she personally was gonna go up to that room and check on everything I had mentioned and speak to house keeping about it. Reason seems to say, that if it was in our room I would imagine it was in other rooms as well. So…we will never be back to this hotel. So sad, being convenient to where we visit often. Between both bookings that we spent enough that we shoulda just stayed at the Sheraton or Embassy Suites or Marriott somewhere.

Not even the discounted Hotwire rate could save this hotel review. Not only is everything outdated but the a/c knob was broken, the bathroom light only worked some of the time, the remote didn’t work, there was only one bed in our room, there were only enough outlets for the electronics already in the room, and when we tried to make popcorn, the microwave started making weird noises and glowing. This room isn’t worth the $ 100 deposit. Next time, I’ll spend the extra money and stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door.

Great staff… good breakfast. Plethora of nearby food places. 20% off at Ihop across the street? Awesome!!! Easy check-in. Simple layout. Mall, movies, and gentlemans club nearby.
