Great service and personnel! We got competitive quotes from 4 different dealers and OD had the best price and helped us with mfg. rebates as well. Also had a service issue on the install of our dishwasher but after speaking to Mr. Lewis, they took care of it at no charge! Its great to do business with a company where you can still talk to a person in a position of authority and they have the ability to make sure you are well taken care of. OD has my strongest endorsement.

Ya know, you try to support the small, locally-owned business. Sometimes it works in your favor but sometimes it goes very badly. I scheduled a service call with Oliver Dyer to install new door springs and drain hose on my dishwasher. I supplied the drain hose but not the springs but I guess I should have bought the springs as well because they were available for $ 30 online but OD charged me $ 45. They also let me know in advance that the service call was $ 69.95 but did not let me know that this would not be applied to any labor. So the guy is in my house for one hour and my bill is $ 228, inclusive of $ 45 in parts, $ 165 in labor and $ 18 in taxes. That’s right! $ 165 for one hour of labor! Is Oliver Dyer hiring board-certified attorneys to do their appliance repairs?! I called this morning to inquire about this and was told sorry but we do not apply the service call charge to labor. I cannot think of any other service provider, tradesmen, etc, that gets away with such a thing. Also, I asked the technician to call me upon completion and he did not. Overall, an infuriating experience. I got ripped off — don’t let it happen to you.

Oliver Dyer’s Appliances has poor customer service. The sales staff are definitely not interested in selling applicances. They may have good prices but service is horrible. Went in to PURCHASE a new gas stove. We were not interested in the bruised and dented appliance we were shown and the sales person stomped off.
