I cannot in good conscience give this business more than one star, as given the choice I would do business anywhere else. The staff in the shop made a sad situation frustrating by a) not being able to clearly convey what they can and cannot do, b) clearly explain what they are going to do, c) not checking with the funeral director to see what is actually going on, d) not delivering flowers on time. Oh, and you seem to be paying a premium price by using the in-house florist(based on some cost shopping another family member did). It took several calls to finally feel like things were straightened out. Even after thinking everything was good, the flowers were still not delivered when they were supposed to be(we are still trying to sort this out and when I learn more I will update this review). Seeing how the flower shop is co-located with the funeral home this is inexcusable. I will be doing a separate review of the funeral home( ), and the flower shop will be mentioned again. I would use this florist a) only if desperate and b) only if you are going to pick up and transport the flowers yourself. If you expect professional, caring, sympathetic, understanding and accommodating service, I suggest you use another florist. PS. If I ever get to see the arrangements, I will add pictures and let you know on what I think of the work performed by Mount Olivet, but based on the service provided, it’s not going to change the rating.
