Main Event is a good place to bring the kids, bowling, laser tag and tons of video games. It is not cheap, but it is clean and has a fun vibe. They also host meetings there in the expandable party rooms when kids are not having birthday parties. The space is large and the seating is comfortable, they have high tech audio visual as well. The only problem here is that the noise from the video games and skee-ball is VERYLOUD and therefore it is not the most professional of meeting places. The beer is cold though, and service is prompt. This is not a place I’d think of for good food, however I was hungry and asked my server for a recommendation on what to order. She said the quesadillas were great, which was not accurate at all. Greasy, weird chicken meat was mixed with cheap cheese and weird oversized beans inside a quadruple layered sheet of nasty. They were willing to remove this item from my bill after seeing that I only took 1 bite. It looked bad, and it did not exceed my low expectations. TLDR: Come here with kids to bowl, or with bros to play pool, expect good service and cold beer, but don’t come hungry.

This location was good about a year ago. Since then the games have declined. Specifically the claw machines. Games are constantly not functioning or functioning incorrectly. The staff on hand is comprised of minimum wage individuals who have an“F” it attitude. This is a direct result of a failing leadership tier. Management in this location is non existent this their untrained staff. The claw machines were full once with great prizes that a patron could actually win and feel like they didn’t just waste $ 17. Now you spend the $ 17 and cannot win a $.35 stuffed animal. Either because the machine is broken or because the settings prevent a fair game. This site sucks. The manager, whoever he/she is is merely collecting a paycheck while the site dwindles. This site will collapse in two years or less if changes are not made to bring back patrons. I live right next door but choose to drive to Arlington for my Friday night gaming experience, and this is due to the poor maintenance of this site. Shame on the management !

This has got to be the worst main event that I have ever been to. And I’m not exaggerating one bit. My nephew is here celebrating his 5th birthday and granted its a Saturday night, but to be so careless with customer service is just sad to me. I usually don’t review places until I’ve left but tonight I make that exception. My mother in law sent her order back because it was wrong and it took the server literally 20 minutes before she got it back and then it was cold. I ordered spinach dip which we all know should be bubbling hot, it was cold. Like, refrigerator cold so I personally went up to have it fixed and they took my plate and threw it in the microwave, filled in the holes where I had stuck my finger in, and said they made me a new one. What in the pure ***??? Where they do that at? Isn’t there some kind of code against that??? And when I asked the manager how they were supposed to make it he said oh it goes in the oven, and it surely didn’t go back through the oven as I watched them manhandle my plate. He said«ok, I’ll refund it» and left. That’s it. No other convo at all. Needless to say the can have it and won’t be getting my money ever again at all. That’s it. #byefelicia

Visited this main event location for the first time in a few months later on a Saturday night. I’m not so bothered by the amount of kids in such(obviously expected at a place like this and I thought the place was pretty clean) as I was the less than average service in the bar area. We hung around at the bar and as soon as we got there we asked an employee at the bar if he could turn on a hockey game we had wanted to catch the last bit of on just one of the tvs since all that was on was college football. He kind of mumbled something about a manager and then went about doing things like cleaning around the bar. We asked again a few minutes later if we were supposed to ask the manager to change the channel or if he had said he would. He said he would get the manager to change it since they were in offices. He never left the bar area and we eventually gave up when the game ended a bit later. Later while playing shuffleboard we ordered nachos which sat out for a long time before they were brought to us. We had to go ask if they were ours. We had moved over a bit so I understand that they couldn’t find us but for an area that wasn’t crowded at all, I think if they had looked it would have been easy to find us. The chicken on the nachos was so ridiculously cold I swear it just came out the fridge. And the queso was completely hardened because they had been out for so long. After we asked them to reheat it was actually pretty good, just wish they had gotten it right the first time.

Went here to bowl with some friends one night. They told us it would be an hour wait, pretty long but we went ahead and signed up and paid for it. We decided to go play some pool while we waited. A little over an hour went by so we went to check how much longer we were going to have to wait. The lady told us it was going to be another hour before we got to bowl. We got our money back and left. Was not every happy that they told us an hour when a lane wouldn’t be ready for two hours. We wasted our time waiting there when we could’ve gone somewhere different.

I see Main Event has made a few upgrades since our last visit like plush new white couches and a room for karoke. We had our first Social Saturday of the school year here and they did a great job hosting our event. The kids enjoyed themselves and the wait staff and mangement were really friendly and took good care of us!

I guess this is a great place if you have kids and want to drink at the same time. The place seems fun but is PACKed with a bunch of kids running around everywhere.

My sister came for a visit last week from ATL. When she suggested to go to Main Event to bowl. The husband and I both looked at each other and sighed. I gave other suggestions, but Whatever she wanted. The last time I came here it was dirty with screaming kids and idiot teens running around. I have kids, but I don’t want to be around screaming kids when I’m out. I have my own at home! This time the place was clean. The seats have been updated! No screaming kids or drunken parents losing there kids. We bowled, played pool, and laser tag. Laser tag was fun, it’s been awhile. A first for the husband. $ 7 pp for each game. Oh, and 90s music! They surprisingly had a tasty margarita. Shots were had and I almost forgot I was at main event.

Regarding the summer funpass. if you go in at 3:15 wanting to do it. you will have to wait until 4 to get it and you will be treated very rudely, although you are more than willing to pay the $ 2 more… don’t go here. All the games are broke. the staff is rude, and they must not realize that no customers=no paycheck.

We were planning on going to the rodeo but decided to stay close to home because the clouds looked like they were ready to dump a bunch of rain. It turned out that after a couple of frames of bowling we were stopped and told to gather toward the center of the building because of a tornado warning. Apparently some glass got blown out at the entrance. It was funny to see everybody check out their cars after the high winds died down. I didn’t really care since I had a rental. So on to the bowling — I found out that I really suck at bowling. We were able to roll 2 games for a party of four within one hour. The total damage for shoes and alley was about $ 53. We had a lot of fun except for the funky plastic monstrosity that the kids use to roll the ball down the lane. It basically straddled our lane and made our sight lines distracting. I can’t figure out why the 10 or so lanes at the edge of the bowling alley were not utilized. We ended up with three out of control kids next to us. We probably would have bowled for another hour but our neighbors were too unruly so we went out for ice cream. Note to management — Why don’t you put all the families with young children next to each other’s lanes and spread the bowlers out.

Have been meaning to check this place out and what better way to come and watch the Super Bowl here! We sat and watched the game at the bar, the staff left us alone, although we had to try and get their attention a few times as they were busy chatting amongst themselves. We ordered cocktails and food. The food was good, we got a burger and chicken tenders and fries. The cocktails, were a little disappointing. They have a special at the moment for games which is $ 10 for unlimited games. IT’s definitely worth that, and to be able to play games have a few beers and some snacks, it’s a cheap and entertaining night out. They have numerous amounts of pool/snooker tables, bowling, video games, laser tag, karaōke, so you won’t get bored here.

I actually went to ME for a birthday party. It was fun. We had a bowling lane reserved that broke before we were able to bowl and the manager gave us passes to come back at a later day. So I thought I would edit my terrible review. Not a bad business.

There is really nothing much to do in Fort Worth on a Monday night. We went to Main event for bowling and we found out that they have a $ 15/person special for unlimited bowling and laser tag games. Compare to $ 29/hr per lane, it was a great deal. The staff were very nice and we had a great time there. The laser tag game was fantastic too. It ended up being a pretty good workout. :-)

I recently brought a party of 18 people to the Fort Worth location this past Friday evening, 11÷7÷14. The staff at the front desk was very kind and helpful. One particular gentleman(I think the manager) helped us reserve 3 lanes next to each other. The wait was 1.5 hours, but we figured we could play pool and enjoy drinks until then. *BAR* — The bar only had 2 people behind it making drinks, so there was, at all times, a line of 5 – 8 people deep to order anything. Staffing for a busy Friday night should be able to quickly accommodate everyone. We were forced to get 2 drinks at a time, meaning our 2nd drink was watered down. We never once had wait staff check on us while at the pool tables, sitting in the waiting areas or while bowling. You had to go find someone or get your own items from the very long line at the bar. *POOL* — There were 6 pool tables open, 3 with«reserved» signs on it. The wait list, which the employee was adamant about pointing out, only had 2 people on it. So, that would mean we could assume there was at least 1 table, right? He kept saying, «Well, I guess you can play until one of these people on the list comes.» And we kept pointing out the math — that there’s clearly a table unclaimed. He finally let us(after much argument) use one, but had to get the last word in that he may ask us to leave it if others come??? When it was time to go to our bowling lanes, we tried to find someone to give the balls and cues back, no one was available. At one point a waiter walked by and asked if we needed help. We said, «Yes, we need to turn these back in and pay.» He looked over at the employee responsible(about 10 yards away, occupied) and said, «Well, I guess you’ll have to wave him down» and walked away??? Why wouldn’t you help us get his attention? Aren’t you all on the same team? *BOWLING* — Bowling was fun! Technology worked well.(Again, staff at main desk was very helpful and pleasant.) The only complaint is as the night got later, the music videos got racier. I know 10:30pm is late for children, but I also don’t want to see 90% naked women’s butt’s shaking the entire video. I recommend taming that down a bit. My mom was so offended, my dad almost asked for it to be changed. I can’t recommend this place to my friends with children because of the rated R images all over giant screens all night. As the night wore on, and we began to lose members of our group, the front desk was helpful in letting us consolidate lanes.

What is there to say its main event. We went there to play shuffle board and in case you did not know they have some very nice tables. Got in quick and started to play. We were having a good time but wondering where our waitress might be. Looking around all the pool tables were being served but no body had approached us. And another 30 minutes i went to the bar and just purchased a couple of drinks. Asked the bartender where our waitress might be and she stated she would send her right over. We stick around for another hour and still the invisible waitress never shows. I go to the bar to return our shuffle board pieces and to inquire one more time where our waitress may be and I am told that she was told to come over. Its one thing to have poor service but to just keep passing the buck and not owning up to your short comings is just pathetic. I would not recommend this place or will i frequent there again.

Eek is right. I usually only come to a Main Event because someones work is sponsoring it. HA. This place is run down. I also don’t really like children. This place is full of them… screaming, running around unsupervised and generally causing trouble. The worst part was the disgusting bathrooms. I mean truck stop looking, tissue all over the floor with god knows what else, no soap in the dispensers, backed up toilets gross.
