LIQ-O-RAMA

Well, while I really like the selection here I had a bad experience today.
Tried to buy two bottles of wine using my credit card but they refused to make the sale unless I went back out to my vehicle in the 38 degree and drizzling weather to get my drivers license.
Now this is actually a violation of their merchant agreement not to accept a signed card without ID but they would not budge.
They claimed it was to protect me from identity theft but letting them having both my credit card info plus my home address and DL number would actually make me more vulnerable not less if their cashier is not trustworthy.
Really just poor customer service and they lost a sale because of it. While I can recommend the selection and price here I cannot the customer service and that is the most important thing for a retailer selling the exact same thing as the shop down the street.
Normally the customer service is just blah. No one seems to really pay attention or care about the customer. No one seems knowledgeable and in fact on this trip had to tell them whether a dry sack was a wine or hard liquor as they didn’t even know what this item they sell is.
Ended up going right down the road to their competitor and buying the same things and although I did take my ID in there I was not asked to provide it to make the same credit card transaction.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great prices compared to the Fossil Creek liquor store closest to my home. I’ll be back again.

This place has what you are looking for. We have two other liquor stores closer to us but I go here for the huge selection of vodka and the great prices !!! They have the largest area for small sample bottles I have ever seen and I always pick up a few to try new things (2 sample bottles start at 1.99) I am not a wine drinker but they have a very large area for that as well !

Located right at the intersection of 820 & Blue Mound Rd with easy access back to the highway. This is a pretty big store with a great selection of items from the really low end to the really high end stuff. The prices are average. The owner is Mike and he is a helpful guy, but the other people working in the store are just… there. Not very knowledgeable about the items they carry and not helpful with recommendations, so know what you’re looking for when you go. They have a huge wine collection in a separate room, too.

Large store with good selection and enclosed high end wine room but just doesn’t seem to be staffed with anyone that cares. Not rude necessarily just not engaged or even knowledgeable about anything out of the mainstream. Avg prices at best.

Best liquor store in north Fort Worth area. Huge selection and liquors you can’t get at many places. Specs is like this too near Roanoke/​Westlake border but so what and the small rectangle feel of that building sucks. What a selection of spirits and the staff is great. The glass case selection of spirits for the expensive stuff is impeccable especially the scotches. 500 dollar 25 year Highland Park in a wood container. .in my dreams! Beer selection kind of mediocre but still love this place.

One of the larger liquor stores within a decent driving distance from Keller (the new Goody Goody in Colleyville is the other). While there are closer stores, this is definitely the one with one of the larger selections in the three major booze groups. I won’t drive specifically to go here*, but it is a convenient stop when heading to/​from Granbury.
Oh, and if you don’t mind your name on another mailing list, they do quite a lot of tastings here.
* If I don’t find what I’m looking for closer to home, I will call here to see if they have what we are looking for.
PS. Have not seen him in a while, there is (was) a guy who worked here that always had some good wine advice, which I definitely appreciate.
