Don’t waste your money! Everything we ordered had no flavor, it was beyond bland. The fried rice was just plain brown rice with no veggies, meat, or flavor. Ordered the moo shu pork. Again no flavor and no pancakes came with it. Pad Thai was horrible. Again no flavor, no peanuts, no egg just plain disgusting all the way around.

I don’t even want to give 1 star. My food took over a hour & a half last night. The driver was young and nice, but my soup was cold as was everything else. I took 1 bite of the fried rice w chicken, and it was so cold I wouldn’t feed it to my dogs. Woke up half way through the night with food poisoning & i am in the 1st trimester of a very high risk pregnancy! I AMDISGUSTED! Can’t even reach management for a refund.

Maybe they are good for delivery, but I wasn’t impressed by dine-in experience. Food was brought out in to-go containers, and we were given styrofoam plates & plastic forks. No kids menu. Lights in bathrooms don’t work.

I ordered a simple meal, it was horrible no taste or flavor and way over priced! I would suggest not wasting your money! You can find several better places in the area.

This place is not the place you order good Chinese food from. This place is not the place you order good hot wings from. This place is cheap and the quality of the food matches the price.

I ordered before and was hoping the bad food was a fluke. I decided to give it another shot. NEVERAGAIN. The orange chicken is overcooked and has a bad flavor and the boneless«wings» are dry chicken tenders drizzled with sauce. A total waste of money. Just don’t do it…

The wait was very long and the food was bland and had just a greasy taste. There were mystery meat parts(I asked for white chicken meat). Won’t do that again.

Not sure why this place has negative reviews. Ordered from them last night through Unilocal.Delivery was fast. Order was correct. It arrived so hot i almost burned my hand. I ordered pineapple chicken with steamed rice and honey chicken with steamed rice. Both were delicious. Pineapple chicken had green bell peppers, onions, pineapples in a pineapple sauce. The honey chicken had a honey type glaze on it. Even better cold then it was hot. Will order from them again when I’m craving Chinese food.

Typical carry out Chinese food. All items taste and look the same. We ordered walnut chicken, pineapple chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. They are exactly the same sweet and sour chicken, except with walnuts or canned pineapples thrown in. They did not even cook walnuts and pineapple, just tossed on top. Food was greasy and tasteless. Peel back a piece of «chicken», one can see it is mostly fried breading. There are much better choices in the area. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

For take out it’s pretty good! And pretty inexpensive!(a nice plus) Really love the steamed dumplings! And their egg drop soup is pretty tasty! The menu is pretty standard for our area. So whatever you’ve ordered at every other little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant, you can order here. Again for what is, a small little inexpensive place, it deserves the three stars!(maybe thee and a quarter) Also I might be a little harsh on it seeing that I’ve spent so much time eating in Chinatowns in Houston and elsewhere and my taste buds might be a tad elevated and let’s face it biased. So forgive me for being a bit snobby and harsh towards them. But I’ll definitely eat from them again! Mostly because of the steamed dumplings(and I can be cheap). Haha.

Well, I can say that the delivery was fast… which would be great if I hadn’t requested a later delivery time. I ordered online and also requested that they call my phone instead of ringing the doorbell because of my dogs. Guess what? Doorbell. Insane barking ensued. The food was hot. That’s the only good thing about the food except that the order was right. My mother ordered the Orange Chicken. Way too much breading, didn’t taste like orange, was a frightening red color & had NO spice. It didn’t even have the requisite Chinese peppers in it. I ordered the San Sien Fragrance. It was mostly vegetables and also had NO spice. The rice was dry, the eggrolls soggy, the Crab Rangoon was mostly wrapper with little filling and the pan fried dumplings were mush. Tossing a lot of $$ in the trash tonight. Next time I’ll get some cash and drive to First Chinese BBQ. Oh, the little standard packet of spicy mustard was GREAT!

Food was okay, i probably wouldn’t go again. I ordered the family pack, the soups were okay and the chow main was a bit flavorless for my taste. The best thing was probably the egg rolls.

I had the food delivered very fast delivery service. 5 stars for that. Eggs rolls were tasty but small. Im used to the type of egg rolls up get in the north east, which are much bigger. 3 stars Crab Rangoon — free with order but the filling was terrible. Too Sweet. Wrapper was cooked well. My dogs loved them. So I will give them 1 star. Crispy noodles– were fresh, hot and tasty. 5 stars BBQ spare ribs– small but tasted great and cooked well 4 stars. Moo Goo Gai Pan and Shrimp Lo Mein were great. Best I have had in this area 4 stars The fried rice is awful, absolutely no flavor. Worst Fried rice I have ever had. Zero Stars. If I needed Chinese food delivered I would choose them again. I ordered Won Tons but did not get them In my order. Also prices here are a little cheaper than other restaurants.

I“m updating my review because the negative ones are comically ridiculous. When I go out for Mexican food, I HOPE the people responsible for my food have roots in actual Mexican heritage. When I go for Chinese, I hope the same. So trying to order a HAMBURGER from someone speaking poor English is frustrating, but not when I’m ordering culturally specific food. Oh, and if the LANGUAGE barrier is really your problem, order online – PROBLEMSOLVED!!! And if you’re beefing about the wings – have you heard of Wing Stop? They have great wings, for 4 times the price! You choose. King Wok offers hot, fresh, FAST delivery of above average taste and quality. One reviewer even mentioned she frequently posts complaints about restaurants she frequents… who’s wrong in that equation??? Please folks, understand you’re getting food that other people are working to make and BRING to you while you get sit on your rear and recover from a long day at work or otherwise opt out of preparing your OWN meal. Thusly… understand if your time is really that valuable, for EVERY entrée being priced under 12.00 you’ve got an awful lot of negativity to spread. SO – at the risk of being repetitive, I’ll post my original review again! The food is actually about 3.5 stars but it’s always hot, fresh and exactly as ordered. King Wok often makes alterations to suit my picky teenagers and the ability to order online is extra convenient! The family pack is a good deal and I was surprised the portions weren’t ‘reduced’ due to the great price. For a single mom who cheats once a week – this is my go to place for Chinese

Everything was completely lacking in flavor. My husband mentioned that this all tasted like dog food and was essentially inedible in comparison to Taste of Asia, even when Taste of Asia is having a bad day and our chicken is overcooked.(which I’ve already griped about in another review) The orange chicken that I ordered didn’t remotely resemble or taste like any orange chicken that I’ve ever had in my life. I uploaded a picture of it already. It was an artificial red color, and had little to no flavor at all. They gave us fried rice on all the meals, and the fried rice was under cooked and still completely hard. The Schezwan chicken had no flavor at all either. We each took one bite of it and left it in the back of the fridge completely untouched. The shrimp in my combo fried rice wasn’t fully de-veined, so to top it all off I got to eat some fish poop because I was too lazy to clean it out. All in all, we probably took about ten bites of each meal, except for the Schezwan chicken, and dumped it all in the trash. Luckily I only ordered the lunch portions of everything, so I only spent about $ 16, but I want my $ 16 back and I want a lunch/dinner do-over.

I HAVE to give King Wok five stars because there is nothing but bad ones on here! It is probably more of a 4 ½ stars. King Wok is the go-to delivery for when there is just nothing in the house to cook. My boyfriend and I get it twice a month or more if we are too lazy to go to the grocery store.(Our grocery trips take almost two hours!) I’ll be sad when we move after our lease is up and we can’t get it delivered. Moving on to the important stuff you are reading this review for! The orange chicken is incomparable! Really, I compare any orange chicken I get some place else to King Wok and nobody measures up. BIG portions. REAL egg rolls. Their chow mein does NOT have noodles in it? The lo mein does. Look up what chow mein is and you’ll understand why this is offsetting. That’s the only negative thing but that would not keep me from continuing to be a consistent customer. Crab ragoons are more flat than the traditional ragoon shape, however they are still stuffed with lots of cream cheese! And of course fuggin’ fatteningly delicious.(I am getting a craving for King Wok just writing this review!) I’ve only had some of the wings once. I had lemon pepper bone-in. Good flavor; they were not awful but you have to take into consideration you are getting wings from a Chinese take-out restaurant. Another reviewer mentioned the person answering the phone cannot speak English very well. Hel-lo! You aren’t ordering from a Dominos! Fortunately, after you have it delivered once your phone number is automatically linked to your address so you don’t have to repeat it every time. That’s a plus for an address you have to constantly spell out for people. Another plus, they typically say it will take 40 – 45 minutes and it usually comes before that. Give King Wok a chance!
