This is what they do at jps. The dumb nurses don’t tell you if you have high blood pressure but they schedule you for an extra appt without giving a reason then they don’t tell you have you nitrates in your urine. You have to find out by getting a call from Walgreens saying that you have a prescription waiting for you. So since you have no idea what it’s for you call the nurses then they tell you what it’s for. And on your ultrasound day they call you an hour before your appt and tell you that it has to be rescheduled to next week because the stupid technician decided to take the whole week off supposedly the same morning as your appt. it’s all BS. When I finally went in for the ultrasound a week later, the technician was on her phone have a personal conversation while we were getting our ultrasound done by a rookie student. This was supposed to be an exciting time for us but she was over there practically crying over her conversation. It was very unprofessional and I don’t even know if I can trust what the student technician predicted was the baby’s gender. It was very rude how the ultrasound tech did that and ruined our special day.

The wait is typically miserable enough, but they do gave good physicians. My issue is if you have something serious that a specialist has to deal with, don’t expect to get in for a couple of weeks. Also the people at urgent care are not the greatest. For the copay however, they are better than an emergency room. Only once have I gone to the urgent care and have them do a job properly. Still it is better than having no insurance, so I can’t complain much, despite losing most of my day. Akso less wait time than a free clinic
