Ahhhh dr McCarty, how do I love your divine skincare as well as Tara, and the terrific team that’s been with you for years.
As a regular patient of this group for many years, I’m always glad to see them and get an update for maturing skin — vigilance and dedication equal premium skin care thanks to the doc!
I always appreciate their warm professionalism and support — The team doesn’t get better than this!
Totally worth checking out if you are in the Ft Worth area.

Dr. McCarty is nice and he kept my skin clear, but I ran into problems when I switched insurance after being his patient for a few years. He refused to switch my topical medication even though I told him I couldn’t afford to spend $ 400 a tube twice a year. He started complaining about Obama Care and how spending money on medication (which my insurance didn’t cover) was the only way medical providers were going to be able to make money. He also told me that over the course of 6 months, $ 400 isn’t much to spend. That’s easy for a doctor to say. Not so easy for a poor graduate student. I have since moved to Austin and have visited a new dermatologist. They went out of their way to find a similar medication that my insurance would cover. It’s been years and that conversation with Dr. McCarty still stands out in my mind. What a disappointment.

I have to admit when I made my appointment to get some moles checked I was a little disappointed that I would be seeing the RN instead of the doctor, but once I met Tara, I immediately loved her! She and I chatted like you would with a girlfriend over drinks about skin issues, how much we hate to wash our hair, beauty products, etc. She is so super down to earth and cool. Absolutely someone I would want to hang out with socially. She assured me the mole in question was at no risk, but said I could come in anytime to get it removed if I preferred.
I really liked the rest of the staff too. It was very easy to make an appointment online and they even had the forms for me to download and fill out at home to make the process quicker when I arrived. Big score for efficiency.
Everyone in the office had beautiful skin and seemed to be glowing. I can see why this is a popular dermatologist.
