I really like this place! They always seem to have $ 4.99 coupons and the people here are pretty nice. Now if you have professional taste don’t waste your time here but of your in the need of a quickie and ya ain’t to picky this is a good place for you

Poor Erin. Not sure what she was expecting, but the Great Clips next to Tom Thumb clearly didn’t live up to her hopes. That said, I think they do a fine job. It’s a clean place, sometimes they have a wait but with the new check-in-online setup you can usually avoid waiting too long. It’s convenient as can be in that Trinity shopping center — it’s tucked just to the South of Tom Thumb so it’s easy to miss if you haven’t been before. The haircut is perfectly in line with the pricing and time-spent model Great Clips has. For me and my son, we can walk in, get two quick cuts, spend $ 30(TOTAL, which includes a nice tip) and be on our way. I’ll sometimes go to the fancier places but in a pinch, Great Clips is great and every time I go I kick myself for not going there all the time. Is it a high-brow salon? Nope. Can I walk next door to Red Hot & Blue and get barbeque takeout? Yep. All good — keep it up Great Clips, and don’t let Erin get you down.

This place is a joke. I went in for a shampoo/cut and brought a picture of what I wanted. Basically just adding layers to my hair, which is long. I spent about 4 minutes in the chair and she was done cutting a horizontal line. This was her version of layers. She then moved me to the washing station. She hardly wet my hair before using shampoo and didn’t get anywhere near my scalp. While rinsing she left a ton of conditioner in my hair. She patted me on the head with a towel and took me back to the chair to comb my hair. She wrung my hair out tightly with her hand and let all the water splash on the floor and sent me on my way. I had water dripping down my legs as I walked out. I was shocked and had no idea what to do. My sister later told me I should call and get a refund. When I spoke with the manager she disregarded my horrible service and argued with — she told me if i didnt want my hair to be wet i should have asked for a blow dry. I didnt want a blow dry! but you shouldn’t need to bring a towel with you for the car ride home! She told me if I wanted a refund I would need to go back inso she could examine my cut. I immediately hung up and made an appointment at a real salon for tomorrow afternoon. $ 20 wasted on a cut I could’ve done myself when I was 10.
