I was on a trip through this part of town and decided to stop by and have a nice meal. I go in and order BBQ wings and while they were cooking it I went to the bathroom to shit my brains out. I come back to eat the wings and it tastes like moist dick. The bathroom was nice tho. 2 stars. Update: I forgot to mention that when I asked for my food back, the chef came to me and rubbed his wang on my wings. 5 stars for the bravery.

The food is actually quite good and the menu has a lot of variety. The problem is the service — from the kitchen, not the waitstaff. It’s terrible. They’re disorganized and slow. If you bring a group of more than four people, they completely fall apart. In my many visits there I’ve seen long waits, orders messed up and I’ve seen a whole table worth of orders completely misplaced. One time our waitress was in tears over the way she was being treated by the kitchen staff.

Food and service was good. Prices are typical. Pretty good selection of burgers, salads, sandwiches and appetizers. Plenty of tvs to watch if you wanna stop in to watch a game. Music was a little loud but then again we were sitting right under a speaker.

Cool restaurant/bar. It’s super huge and has an extensive menu, great place to watch the game either with your family or with friends. It’s big enough to split up the 2 different parties and its non smoking in the inside.

Great atmosphere for watching sports. Way better than going to Buffalo Wild Wings including their beer selection. Prices aren’t bad and they had happy hour prices going on a Saturday.

I enjoy coming here after work to unwind, grab a yummy burger and drinks. This place is huge! It’s clean with comfy booths, large TV screens everywhere(including the outside patio), pool tables for your enjoyment, and awesome restrooms. Fave appetizers are the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers and cheese sticks. The burgers are really good. I come in thinking I want to try something new but always end up with a burger! Our waiter was Matt today and he was friendly and attentive, despite apparently training a new hire. He didn’t rush us out(we like to talk) but still checked up on us every now and then. Overall, great experience!

Flips has an extensive menu and it is consistently good. Prices are good as well. Fun place to meet with your friends. Wait staff is good too. Love their bathrooms, looks very nice and has mouthwash and plenty of room to hang out. Pool tables and LOTS of tv’s with all sports playing on them.

So far unimpressed. We called about an hour before the kitchen closed, for a take-out order of two burgers. The man that answered the phone seemed upset that we were ordering. When we got there there was nobody around to show me where to go get my order, thank God I was not there to sit down and eat I would’ve waited forever the waitstaff were sitting at a table and all playing on their phones. Got home looked at my burgers both orders were wrong. Will not be going back! Good luck to those that do.

Met some friends at this place a few weeks ago. They have a nice size patio. Huge place with pool tables. Ordered the Hot wings, they were very good. Drinks were good too. Only thing I didn’t like about this place was finding a parking space, couldn’t find any parking, ended up parking on the street a block away. I didn’t feel safe. This place would do if I’m not near a Dave and Busters.

First time to flips. Loud sports bar, clean, large screens everywhere. Not enough wait staff, but they were polite and working hard. Overall, the food was fresh and good. The three of us agreed their products were homemade. Considering it was 11:30 on a Thursday night, about half the place was closed. I suppose that is expected and this place is huge. I had blackened fish tacos with home made potato chips. I am convinced the fish wasn’t blackened. Looked grilled, which is ok. They put thousand island sauce on the tacos, not too crazy about that. The homemade potato chips were great. One daughter had a french dip with onion rings. She said it was good and the onion rings were great. The other daughter had a border burger. She said it was really good and the sweet potato fries were excellent. If you like a huge loud sports bar, you can’t beat the home made bar food. Not bad, but not my cup of tea.

I’m giving this a two star instead of a one because I didn’t actually get served… although that seems like a good enough reason for a one star. I walked into Flips and was impressed. It’s huge inside with lots of wood and natural light. I was thinking this might be the end to my hunt for a regular place to drink a beer and read my comics on Friday afternoons. I sat at the bar on the lower level and got excited about some of the beer options. But then I kept sitting. And no one talked to me. And the restaurant was basically empty, with just a couple of occupied booths and one group of guys playing pool. A waiter finally came to tell me that the lower lever bar was closed and I needed to go to the upper level. Low and behold, there are two bars in this giant restaurant! So I relocated to the bar on the upper level. And sat. And waited. And no one ever came to serve me. There wasn’t a bartender behind the bar the entire time I was there, although there did seem to be plenty of waiters around. I waited long enough to get thoroughly annoyed by the very classy country music sung by a woman about the super fun night she had getting drunker than she’d ever been before. So I gave up and left. I’ll probably give them another shot, as I was a fan of the Grapevine location, but this was not a good first impression.

Excellent food and service, good atmosphere. Everything on the menu is great. Love coming here. Only criticism — they play WAY too much of the black keys…

Me and my wife wanted to stop in because of good reviews. When we entered the restaurant it looked clean and friendly. However when we took a seat at the bar no one greeted us. After 5 minutes a bartender took our drink order. I had an coors light and my wife got a angry orchard. Mine tasted like the lines weren’t clean. I wanted to eat something but the bartender was to busy eating his food and drinking in front of me. So we are taking our business else were. There are plenty of options in this area not this place!

The whole team(family) met here for a Sunday meal. From the minute I stepped in the door, I was impressed with the service. We started with the sampler. The fried pickles were some of the best… not too greasy with a really nice breading. The mac n cheese bites were a hit with the younger team members. Huge balls of a yummy favorite! Most of us had burgers… with no two alike. Everyone was satisfied with their choices. Warning! They’re HUGE. Two can share.

Not happy with the ‘private club’ rules. We arrived at 10:15pm for a late dinner. My husband left his passport at home & only had his Turkish ID. Simply because the door man wasnt ‘familar’ with his foreign identification he wouldnt allow him in. Regardless of the fact that my mother & I had our Texas id’s. An exception wasnt made because of his ignorance. We wanted dinner, not to get sloshed. Plus, im 8 months pregnant… I was obviously there for food, you would think the ‘private club’ would allow guest in to enjoy a meal if at least one person in your party is a ‘club card holder’. The door man apologized, but a lot of good this does my growling belly… im still leaving hungry. No fried pickles or burger for me :-(

Ambiance — 10⁄10 great music and atmosphere. Knew pretty much every song they played, lots of modern rock(black keys, white stripes, weezer, etc. Food — 9⁄10 My chicken tenders were very good, my dad’s hamburger was tremendous, one of the best he said he’s ever had. Sweet tea was average at best. Price — 9⁄10 Spent 30 bucks including tip for both of us to eat dinner. I’d say that’s pretty good. Overall — 9⁄10

I’ve been to Flips three times now(twice at a table, once at a bar) and I must say that the service has been consistently good. The bacon ranch burger was priced well($ 9.95) and was cooked exactly the way that I wanted it. The fries? Well, they were okay. A little too greasy and not as crisp, but okay. The hops for the beer were just about right. I tried three different draft brews, one of which was the local variety of «Revolver.» For a brew that is in between a pale ale and a lager, Revolver is actually pretty good. Of course, I had this after I tried some of the Sam Adam’s Winter Lager right after Revolver, which possibly influenced my taste buds. One thing of mention is that when you present your driver’s license to a server/bartender, they register you for the«Flips Club» or some sort. Not certain if there are any special benefits by being a club member. The jury is still out on that one. Plenty of televisions in the bar as well as a large enough seating area on the patio. Although Twin Peaks is next door and has the Hooter’s type of appeal, Flips is actually a cool place to get away and get a quality meal + drinks and just veg out while watching a game or three. May have to return to this venue for a big event, such as the Super Bowl. ***GETTOFLIPSEARLY***
