I’ve ordered from this company for years, despite the high delivery fee. I move 3 miles from downtown Fort Worth and they won’t deliver to my neighborhood. However, I was told they would deliver lunch so I order lunch on a Saturday and my order was canceled. I called to ask why and was told by Ruby they would check into it. Thank you for not delivering to my neighborhood because I will save a lot of money.

I always thought that Entrees on Trays just delivered to businesses and hospitals until Shannon’s review. I used the service a lot when I worked in the hospital district… 6 years ago. I was a little ecstatic to see that they delivered to homes now. What better way for my food to come to me when I don’t want to cook or go out when the weather is crappy. Dinner time gotta load up the kids, drive there, fight traffic, get kids out, go inside, get kids in car, fight traffic to go home, unload kids. Last Saturday, I just did that. Some places on the EOT’s website says it’s too far. Others said nothing. So we got Mariposa’s Latin Kitchen. It arrived on time and dinner was great. This week I decided to try a different restaurant. EOT called me a few minutes later saying that they don’t deliver to my area it was a mistake. Fair enough, I am All The way Down Hulen Street… almost to Crowley. but you delivered last Saturday with no problems. Your website says that YOU deliver to MY address. The guy from EOT says cut off is at Risinger Road. Really? You can’t go 1 more minute to my house? I can even meet you on the corner of Risinger. geez. It’s all good. I’ll just go get my own food. They took out $ 70 for the order they say they couldn’t deliver. I still have yet to get it refunded even though dude said my order was voided. Will give a star when I get my money back. I’m still a fan even though they won’t drive one more minute to my house. lol

I love this service. I know other people have their complaints about orders getting messed up or food delivery taking more than an hour, but I disagree with the complaints because the website where you order the food specifically tells you the estimated wait time. Generally, it takes anywhere from 60 – 90 minutes depending on the time you place your order and the distance from your house(duh.). I don’t mind waiting an hour for the food because I typically order in on a week-night when I’m too pooped to lift a finger. I’ve had Aventino’s, Chuy’s, Shinjuku Station, and Vivo 53 delivered to my doorstep. Each time the food was still nice and warm(or cold in the case of the sushi), though I did have to reheat the queso from Chuy’s. Each time my food arrived after about one hour. Each time my order was correct. It’s actually a wonderful service, so long as you manage your expectations about it. It would take me an hour to go and get the food for myself or to even prepare a meal at home, so I love being able to take a night off and order in. I’m actually super impressed by the amount of selections they have from participating restaurants. All of my favorite places are on the list. And the delivery drivers have been very sweet.

The concept is great but a few times they messed up my order(for some reason they did not update my old cell number from five years ago and kept calling the wrong number to confirm, even though it’s updated on my profile) and it takes a long time to deliver. Occasionally it took so long that the restaurant closed before they were able to get my order. Prices are expensive as well. However, the delivery personnel are very nice, and there is a good variety of items.
