Just stopped in last night for my first daiquiri at Dobbers Daiquiris in Lake Worth. I’m in love with the Berry Bomb. It is good and that is all that needs to be said. The service was awesome and the location near the lake is great since it so convenient. You can drive up or come inside for almost any flavor you can think of at Dobbers. Next time I may try the Bob Marley, Dark Rain or the Pink Pantie Dropper(now, that’s funny). Chances are good that I will take another Berry Bomb with me since they can seal it «to go».

We were heading north on Jacksboro Hwy last weekend when the Big Guy started«OMG! OMG! Oh *expletive*! I thought he ran over a body or something, given the intensity of his outburst… no, just a billboard announcing the location of Dobber’s Daiquris just 400 yards on the right. In Cajun Country, these kinds of outfits are a dime a dozen. Here? Well, there’s one… on the west side of I-35 just north of downtown… with the highly inappropriate but very funny drink names… Unfortunately they weren’t open for our first drive-by, but we made the trip out yesterday for some frozen goodness, and weren’t let down. Dobber’s offers about 20 different frozen drinks. Smalls are $ 4, mediums are $ 6, and larges(32 oz) are $ 8. Gallons are $ 28. You can add an extra shot for $ 1. Flavor varieties include hurricanes(mine was all right), piña colada, strawberry, peach, mango, grape, to name a few. All of this frozen goodness is served up in a sealed plastic bag so you’re less inclined to draw from the goodness while you’re driving. The gentleman working also has some association with the Eskimo Hut, and this is one effort at diversifying. If you’re ever on the border of Fort Worth and Lake Worth, check this place out!
