If you are in metroplex and dieing to have some greasy cardboard pizza then I would highly recommend Campisi’s. If, on the other hand, you want crust that will not double as a greasy cricket bat then may I suggest that you try Papa John’s or the Red Barron that has been hiding in your freezer. Our friends swear by this stuff, but I haven’t figured out why yet.

This is a really ghetto location of the chain Campisi’s pizza. There are many around the metroplex, and this one is located near a country highway next to a gas station. The square Egyptian style pizza is pretty unique, but it doesn’t offer anything different in terms of flavor or texture. It is just a square, crispy flatbread type pizza with toppings and a nice herb mixture over your basic cheese mix. The ravioli appetizer is pretty standard for Italian-American cuisine, as are most of the offerings on the menu. Overall, this restaurant is reasonable, tasty, and slightly different in terms of choices, but it is by no means superior to other Italian-American joints around the metroplex.
