I like this place for a causal, fun night out. They have lots of hands on games and actual games as the name suggests, and I’ve never really had to wait to use them. They have ski ball, air hockey, jenga, connect 4, etc. They do serve food, but I wish they had a better menu. I typically struggle to find something that looks very appealing and then when I actually do order something, it’s never that impressive. They do not have any servers, everything has to be ordered from the bar, but they will bring your food out to you once it’s ordered. Bartenders are hit or miss, I’ve had awesome ones where I never have to wait for a drink, and I’ve had others where you would think they purposely didn’t see me. They do have a nice outside area that works for games and they always have a bouncer on staff. Every time I’ve been there, there is a bit of an older crowd, but it’s mixed as well. Drinks are a little on the expensive side for the actual establishment, and you pay for all the games compared to Landmark where the electronic games inside are free.

A good«go to» bar, loving the new child free rules. Finally feels like a place to hangout, vent with old school video games or grab a quick bar food bite.

Took my sister and my brother in law here while they were visiting. This place is every 80’s kid’s dream! Frogger, Street Fighter, Air hockey, Skee Ball! Giant Jenga. So fun. We didn’t eat, but did drink. They have decent drinks and specials.

Love this place. So much fun. The food is pretty good. Only one issue. The cheesy fries came out cold with congealed cheese :-(the fried deviled are AMAZING!!! The chicken strips are moist. Flavorful but on the small side. The ranch is homemade and YUM. That’s about it. I’ll be back. Just won’t order cheesy fries

This place has a cool idea, but like a few others have said, they probably could invest in a little TLC. While I loved seeing the old school video games from my childhood, a couple had buttons that didn’t work, a pinball machine with an inoperative flipper, and one that was stuck on the green/blue/beige screen of death. I believe Tuesdays all games are free, but I think they’d be better off keeping the games free every day. I think you’d probably attract more people and more than make up that money in food and drink orders. I can’t comment on food, but the drinks were ok. It seems like they had a decent beer selection however the first two my friend ordered were out of stock. I tried to order a chili margarita from their specialty drink menu and was also told they were out of chili infused tequila so couldn’t make that exact drink. We ended up getting a Moscow Mule and Irish Mule(irish whiskey instead of vodka). Both were good but nothing that really blew me away. We had a little bit of a wait on a relatively quiet day, but our bartender was very friendly and apologetic for three of our initial drink orders being unavailable. This place has some potential, but for now, they could use a little work.

If you like video games from the 80’s and drinking beer, then this is your place. They have a pool table & air hockey as well as skee ball! Or you can play a life sized game of jinga! Personally, I’m here for Frogger. Now only if they would have had Kung Fu, it might had gotten them the 5th star in the rating… ;-)

Such a cool place, and tucked away on tiny little Matisse Street in Fort Worth in the West 7th area. If you’re not careful you’ll miss the entrance! There’s street parking past valet and the apartment parking garages. Visited tonight with a group of friends. This is a small place, so it’s easy to get into each other’s space, but it’s worth it! There is life-size Jenga in the enclosed patio, rollerball on one side of the room, and arcade games along the perimeter of the other side of the room. Oh, and there’s also a foosball table! Lots of beers on tap, mixed drinks available of course, and a kitchen menu. Some of the waitresses also passed out samples of free mixed drinks which was fun. We tried a Ginger beer, fireball whiskey, and something else shot on ice and it was really good! The music was bumpin and I was too happy to get down to my jams. I would absolutely come back again. Just a really cool, chill place to hang out in, play some games, have a few drinks, and have some fun. I’ll be back!

Place is a blast! They could really use some upkeep on the games and switch them up every month to keep it fresh. It is a Bar Arcade, so they need to make sure they keep the part people actually go for in good running condition. The music on Saturdays are by far the best, the Dj rocks! Also, the grilled cheese is the bomb diggity!!! I would give it 5 stars if the games were kept up. I’m an arcade collector and to see them sad hurts me inside.

I came here after it being suggested to me by a friend. The idea of a bar with arcade games– old school arcade games, nonetheless– sounded like a fun, chill night! We ended up going on a Saturday night. I was satisfied with the drink selection. Plenty of local beers on tap. There weren’t too many people which was great because we didn’t have to wait too long to get our drinks. The bartender was also helpful because we aren’t too familiar with Texas breweries. I really enjoyed the outdoor patio. There were about 4 – 5 giant Jenga tables so we didn’t have to wait to long to play either. The only downside to the jenga was how old and worn out the blocks were. I was more afraid of wood poking through my skin than the blocks actually falling! In fact my boyfriend got a splinter while playing. I was able to get it out but we stopped playing after that. The giant connect four had the same problem. The circles were worn out and wouldn’t even stay on top of each other like they were supposed to. We ended up giving up halfway of playing because of all the extra work. I would definitely go here if you’re looking for a chill place to hang out. Stick to the arcade games and pool table if you don’t want splinters. The games take quarters and there’s a change machine near the bathroom.

So I came out here for a fellow Unilocalers birthday. They ended up at Barcadia after having dinner elsewhere. I was late. Anyway, I got to hang out with several elite types that I had gotten friendly with and have since remained friends with since leaving the DFW area. Barcadia is kind of an upscale dive bar with retro music(80s and 90s mostly, for whatever reason they threw on the Backstreet Boys) and old school video games to keep one nostalgic for quite some time. They have Paper Boy! I used to play that when I was 13. The place is spacious and never seems crowded, which was nice. It’s not fun feeling like a sardine at a bar. The bartenders were quick to help and plenty of great local beer selections were on tap. Revolver, Rabbit Hole, Martin House to name a few that I enjoy. They had some good bourbon behind the bar as well. A shot of TX Whiskey, thank you. There were several giant Jenga games going on out of the patio area which was large and wrapped around the bar. Our group had fun with one of them. Simply put, we all had a good time and I liked the place. Enjoy.

It’s a really fun bar! The Moscow mule here is one of the best Moscow mules I’ve ever had! Our bartender looked like Katie Perry lol. She was really sweet and nice. It’s a nice change up from the bars we normally go to!

I may have lived the rest of my life unaware of this rad place, but thanks to my fellow Unilocalers I discovered this bar hangout! They have a decent beer selection with many Texas breweries available, so you’re sure to find something that suits your palate. At the moment, it was Revolver for me. Upon walking in I was digging the mellow chilled out atmosphere. Ordered a few drinks at the bar and came to find out Wednesday is ½ price food! Um, score! Got some pretty good chicken nachos that were devoured!(Added a pic of that masterpiece). What initially brought me here was the reviews stating the sweet stuff they had going on here, and they’re right, it’s quite a selection available: billiards, air hockey, a pinball machine, skee ball(3), a large Connect Four game I didn’t take the time to look at but I could see others partaking in, and a few giant Jenga tables. Arcade games include Simpsons, TMNT, Frogger, Q*bert, Mrs. Pacman, Blitz ’99, Star Wars, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Paperboy, Tron, Burger Time, Asteroids and Crusin’ USA. $.25 to play so I enjoyed a few. Billiards was operable as well as all arcade games I enjoyed. Like I read in previous reviews, this place wasn’t too packed, which I enjoyed. By 9 people had trickled in and lined the bar, but I was on my way out. Enjoyable experience. Will return on occasion!

‘This music makes me want to waste my life away playing video games’ says I to some killer tunes. ‘Yeah that sounds nice,’ says my pretty neighbor. Asteroids, Miss Pacman, Quebert, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Okay that’s it next time I’m camping out at the TMNT machine and eating pizza while highscoreing my name & taste buds. Wednesday is ½ food night. Enjoyed tasty veggie wrap w side salad($ 4 dude) and had half left over for snack for later. My neighbor went hog wild on a large burger & fried deviled eggs. Yes order those bad boys. Nothing says ‘America Land of Opportunity’ like deviled eggs & Space Invaders.

I really like this bar, it’s not ever fully packed. The bartenders are very nice and attentive. They have a couple arcade games to play, along with a giant jenga, and recently they got a giant connect four. Since it’s getting warmer they do offer the tropical red bull! My friend ordered a Vegas bomb with the tropical red bull and it made it sweeter! The bar in surrounded by an apartment complex I assume? Max wine dive is next door. They have parking outside the area and a parking garage, no fees. Patio is nice. Overall great bar to hang out with friends!

Monday is the day to go, happy hour and free arcade game in one. They obviously had the hallmarks like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter amd others. The hiang jenga sets were the best. Only food I’d probably orde would be the cheese fries. Drinls were decent.

I used to like this place. I’ve been going since 18 to play the arcade games with friends, never approaching the bar, because well I wasn’t age appropriate. Now that I’m turning 21 I come to play the free arcade games on Tuesday till midnight. An hour before my birthday the guy asks for my id and tells me to leave the bar! And to come back at midnight. Heck no dude! I’m going to miss giant janga, but come on it’s my 21st birthday. Lost points and hurt my feelings. Of course all my friends(who are 21+) left with me.

Here is a great place to feel like a kid again. giant Jenga, air hockey, ski ball, billiards, and arcade games. If you are a kid at heart and enjoy games, there is no way you can have a bad time here. This is a great place to go with friends(21 and over) and just chill and have fun. The patio area is nice and the inside is cool(yet can be a bit crowded). I’m not sure on the food though. Some say the food is bad and there are some that say is good. So at some point I will have to order and judge for myself.

Well I don’t know where to start… This place is not a bar you ever want to visit. I went last Friday night to meet a friend and it was pretty dead, there were only about 20 people at 12:30am and the music was bad. The bartenders were not friendly and seemed pissed off it was so slow. At the end of the night the manager started telling people to leave and the bartenders were yelling at the few people that were finishing up to“get the *** out of here”… As if that’s not bad enough the manager walks up to me grabs the drink from my hand and proceeds to tell my friend what a loser I am and they could’ve pick someone else better to spend the evening with… Needless to say my friend was very upset and asked to leave immediately, I escorted them to the car and returned it and let the manager know he was out of line and then; was pushed and shoved out of the bar and was verbally assaulted the entire way… If I could’ve called the police in that situation I would have because they took huge liberties with what they’re allowed to do no one is allowed to physically cause violence on somebody else for any reason, so you guys make your own choice but I would steer clear of this establishment. And you can believe me that this is not the end of the situation I will contact their corporate offices on Monday.
