I went to this individual with knee pain. My pain is due to injuries when I was 16 years old, having been pushed off of the wooden pullout bleachers in the gymnasium at Keller High School, circa 1972. I landed on my knees and couldn’t walk for several days. I explained to this individual that it was not due to wear on the cartilage between my leg bones but due to the deterioration of the cartilage behind my kneecap as shown by the X-rays taken that day. He did not listen any, at all, none, instead he gave me Cortisone injections in both knees. He stated this is the way we start treatment. This is not the way to start treatment but the way to run up the insurance bill. I did not need these injections as they do nothing to help the damaged and severely broken cartilage behind my kneecaps. The broken pieces of cartilage catch, release and grind as I bend and extend my legs. The night after these unnecessary injections was the most(knee) painful night of my life. I did not sleep and strongly recommend that you not just go somewhere else but rather you should anywhere else! He thinks he is «HOUSE» from the TV show, he has his little entourage following him around to worship him but no one listens to the patient. Save yourself some pain and go elsewhere. By the way, this was not a recent event it was more than six months ago, so I am not just venting but have had time to see the real effects of his(lack of) skills!!! I am now looking for a good orthopedic knee specialist in the Fort Worth, Mid-Cities area. I am 59 years old soon to be 60 and would not send someone I didn’t like to this individual. This is stated without emotion, just the facts!
