Travel Inn

If there was ever a place that deserved zero stars, I think this would be it. This place is a crime scene. The drug addict behind the counter refused to refund my money when I came back less than 10 minutes later and told him this was clearly not the place for me. I just laughed at him and walked out. You can’t argue with someone who isn’t mentally there.
WOW…that’s all I can say. Gideon is right, the people watching is amazing, but if you value your health, keep it moving.

The only reason to stay at this motel is for the social experience. If you are wanting a decent night’s rest at an affordable price then I suggest checking into the Motel 6 or Knight’s Inn, both within a half mile of the Travel Inn.
The general state of the room appeared as if it had been used to slaughter a small herd of cattle and was half-​heartedly cleaned with a dirty sponge. I saw no bugs, but I’m sure they were there. I’m fairly certain that the bedding had been washed at some point during the last week or so.
Highlights include local residents with interesting world views and behavior. I was pleased to hear the persons in the neighboring room were so enthusiastic about their mating practices. (I’m a sociologist; thus, interesting is more important to me than safety or rest.) Also… there is a hardcore porn channel.
In short, if interesting is more important than quality, then this is your motel.
