Beautiful place! I had a great massage! Can’t wait to go back and spend the whole day there!

I am VERY disappointed in this place. I had the girl (Gabby) who was doing my facial, interrupt my facial and say, «i really hate to say this but you have really bad skin and sun damage». 1. Im only 22. 2. Ive had several facials prior to hers and have always been told i have flawless skin. And 3. Its very unprofessional for anyone in the cosmetology industry to say something to a client like that. It would have been fine if she would have told me in a different way or told my kindly akd not during my facial when im suppose to be relaxing. She could have given me some tips for better skin care, but i already use organic products and proper things that i should be using. She even wanted me to get a retinol which is a very harsh chemical that zaps wrinkles. I dont have any wrinkles… i will not be going back here because of Gabby.

Woodhouse Day Spa is a diamond in the rough. I have been to several day spas and I would say that Woodhouse tops my list. My husband scheduled a surprise spa day for me to include: Swedish massage, facial and pedicure. I was a little skeptical about whether or not I would be satisfied based upon the look/​location as we drove up. Any reservations that I had were completely laid to rest as I walked through the front door (I guess I should have listened to my mother when she advised me not to judge a book by it’s cover). The ambiance was extremely calming. The staff was professional, accommodating and friendly. The facility, while small, felt quite large due to the layout and was clean. All of my services were top notch. The ONLY disappointment I felt about my experience was that I had not had the time to experience more of the offered services. I will absolutely return in the future.

Woodhouse is my go to place for some «me» time. I enjoy all that Woodhouse has to offer. I have been there a handful of times and have always enjoyed my time there, which inevitably goes too fast.
As much as I love the massages, I love the quiet room. The quiet room is dark, cozy, and warm. There is a fireplace, comfy seating, a fountain and zen music playing. Guests are offered teas, wine, beer or spa water. I generally start and end my visits in this room.
The locker room is also fantastic. You can use the room for as long as you’d like before and after your massage. There is a huge steam room, waterfall showers and very nice changing areas. Woodhouse provides everything from hairdryers to deodorant to qtips. The robes and sandals are so nice as well.
I chose the volcanic stone massage during my last visit and it was my favorite service I have had yet. I highly recommend it. I could literally feel my muscle tension release so quickly with the hot stones.
I always feel so refreshed and rejuvenated after my Woodhouse visits.
Side note: At my last visit, the man checking me out was a tad pushy for my taste when trying to talk me into buying a package of multiple massages. I would really love to just say no and that be the end of it, but he was overly persistent. Not the best way to end a spa day, but that was the only time that has happened at any of my numerous visits.

This is a nice place, but their policy of making you give a credit card to guarantee your appointment when you’ve already paid for a package of services does not seem like a customer friendly way to run a business. If I didn’t show up, which I’ve never done, they could take one from my package.
For the same price you can go to a high end spa in Arizona or California with beautiful scenery and get the same services.

First time visit, very impressed. Felt decadent but was not outrageously expensive. Had a 50 minute session with Gabrielle that was awesome. Worked on my problem areas and made the event from start to finish a step above. Nice steam and shower afterwards. Totally relaxing… a mental and physical escape.

Went today for a couples massage. Not a fan of their ‘arrive 45 min early’ policy, but whatever. Surely they need time to show off their facilities, which, to be fair, were very nice.
The massage itself was good. Not the best I’ve had, but still up there on my list. However, the masseuse, Marissa… I did not care for her attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day or whatever. But I noticed my girlfriends masseuse, Denita, asking her questions, joking and actually seeming to care. Where as, I just received the monotone explanation of everything like she was reading it from a note card. When I made a joke about my key not working in my locker, her response was actually quite rude.
Oh, and then there was a lady trying to barge in on me while I using the toilet in the men’s room.
Would I go back… Eh, maybe. If I did, I would specifically ask for another masseuse.

This day spot is nothing but the best they are a little pricey but completely worth it!

This is probably one of the best spas I’ve ever been to. The first time I went, I didn’t care for the whole «arrive 45 minutes early» thing but the staff is always very friendly and the facility is beautiful. The women’s locker room is spacious and has many amenities including designer creams and products.
The relaxation room is spacious and is really comfortable. I may have fallen asleep in there once or twice waiting for my nails to dry. I’ve gotten massages, facials, body treatments and nail services and I can say I’ve never been disappointed in the least. They also provide water, tea, or wine which is nice as well. Highly recommend.

I received a hot oil scalp massage here. It was a very relaxing experience, though I was hoping the massage would include some facial relaxation too. Love the dressing room, comfy robes, and wonderful hot shower afterwards. I do not enjoy arriving on time and sitting forever in the quiet room until someone gets me. I do feel the prices are a little high, but the service is good and the building is calming for sure.

Living in Austin Texas, was back in Fort Wayne caring for my terminal ill momma. When Our Lord called her home, the Woodhouse provided a much needed departure from the stress of life.
Went in for three mens services — manicure, pedicure and back cleansing treatment.
My manicurist and pedicurist were the same person and she was great. We talked at length about Faith and Family. The overall service was great and they provided a separator wall between my service area and the other stations — very nice. This was the best part as was the recommended foot cream, clearing up the cracking on my heels.
After my appendage services, went to my back treatment. This wasn’t as good as I have had in other spas around the US and is why they get 4 out of 5. The service person was nice, just didn’t feel adequately cleansed with the treatment.
Have recently been to Austin Woodhouse and learned Fort
Wayne is a flagship style location. As Providence takes me back to Fort Wayne, then I will return here.

It’s been a while since I’d been here and I’ve missed this relaxation! They may be slightly more expensive than other spas in Fort Wayne, but all the extras you get here are worth it! I love relaxing in the quiet room in their comfy robes, while sipping on tea before and after a treatment. Always feel so relaxed after leaving here. :)

The best kept secret in Fort Wayne!!! Had an amazing experience at the Woodhouse from start to finish! They make you feel like VIP from the moment you walk in the door. The place is absolutely stunning and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The massage was amazing, and so was the facial. Will go back again FOR SURE!!!

I got a decent facial (and am pretty picky about facials) and would recommend Woodhouse. The negative: they do put a lot of energy and attention into building the appearance of «fancy.» Despite this, it was overall a good experience, and I did not feel pressured into spending more than I wanted to (i.e., no pressure to buy products).
Management, if you are reading this: I could do without the «arrive 45 minutes before your treatment to get a tour.» Really? My guess is that they need to stagger arrival times because the place is so massive. If we all arrived 5 minutes before appointment time, there would be a line down the sidewalk.

My wife and I have both had massages here before and enjoyed the experience. However, this past weekend we were mortified by the level of service delivered. First, I sent an appointment request through their website with my current phone number and email and got no response. Second, after not hearing from them I called on Wednesday and made an appointment by phone. Third, when we actually got there on Saturday they found no record of our reservation. Luckily, they did have room for the two of us and were able to get us in after a short delay. What happened next stunned my wife and I, during the couples massage both masseuse started laughing and giggling, for no reason my wife and I could see? It was extremely uncomfortable to be laying down with your face on the table and to have to «professionals» laughing during what is supposed to be a calming re-​newing experience. Needless to say we will not be going back. Very disappointed.
