All kinds of military stuff here. Place smells like rubber military mud boots, they sell rations for when you get hungry, they have it all here G.I. JOE. American heroes shop here, some homeless hang around here and to stay inside for awhile share old war stories with the owner. They sell gas mask too! Loving it… think how much gas took out them kikes, think about it!!! 0030: on foot patrol 0045: back on base monitor cameras 0200: on foot patrol 0253: back on base monitor cameras

Great family owned store that’s been around for decades. You may not know what you want when you go in but I bet you’ll find something you didn’t think of before you leave.

Enjoy the pictures of this storefront! After all, you paid for it. The new owners had applied for a city grant and got free tax payers money to improve their storefront. What a great showing of the new entitlement class. And a tribute to our brave soldiers shown in the storefront window. As with any Army/Navy surplus stores, G.I. Joes used to carry everything you could possibly need in regards to camping and survival gear. Literally! The new owners put an end to that. They bought about as much different military clothing(mostly knock offs). That could be stuffed in the shelves here. Could you guess that they are two woman? You will also find that they have a lot of reasonably priced/used gear, but the same item new(mostly knock-off brands). Right next to it if used is not the route you want to go. Not all military items offered here is strictly U.S. Government Issue, but you will find stuff from other NATO and former Soviet bloc countries. They have a small selection of Carhartt clothing, too! I do stop in on a semi-regular basis to see if they have any suitable bags to carry my camera gear. I purchased a tri-fold medical kit bag here that works great, but you can never have enough bags! I don’t want to rehash a lot of what others have said about this place, but it might be worth a visit if you are in the area. Hell, you can even get a set of personalized dog tags(two stainless steel tags, long/short chain and silencers) made right in the store for $ 10! Depending on which of the two female owners think it is the most stylish. G.I. Joes Army & Navy Surplus has been a Wells street fixture for years. Below you will find a glossary of some military terms with its civilian counterpart. What does it have to do with this review? Nothing — but it is always good to learn something new!
