I had a nail in my tire last night when I got home from work, so I called Discount as soon as I got up this morning. They told me to come on in and they’d check it out — they weren’t busy. I got there just as 5 other cars pulled into the parking lot, but the gentleman on the phone had had the foresight to book me an appointment so I wouldn’t have to wait. They got my car right in, everyone was genuinely helpful and, despite my obvious ignorance of all things car related, they weren’t condescending or trying to talk me into things I didn’t need. They patched up my tire in less time than they had estimated, free of charge. Definitely the best car experience I’ve had.

This place is great. They’ve repaired my tires for free that I didn’t even buy there. I had bought tires for my other vehicle there. This is really smart because I will only buy my tires at Discount tire now.

Don’t know why no one has reviewed this discount tire yet so here goes. I’ve had two experiences with them. The first was In January this year and the second was today.
My first experience with them was pretty great, I have a Dodge Ram 1500 with some giant maximum terrain tires that are expensive to say the least. I had a bad alignment and one of my tires wore really unevenly and on top of that would not hold air. I was not in a spending mood when I went in, but this being a 4×4 truck you must keep all the same tires or you’ll really mess things up. Long story short they knew I didn’t want to spend the money on a new tire for this thing (would have been over $ 300 for one tire) so they actually set me up with the cheapest set they could give me, with no attempt to up sell. They were friendly the entire time and really got me out of what could have been a depressing situation for my wallet.
Fast forward to today. well yesterday really. I have two dented wheels on my car (Celica GT-​S) and one really bad tire. I figured since the wheels were crap anyhow I’d just buy two new wheels with tires already mounted and balanced from Tire Rack. Sounds simple enough, but when I got the wheels and tried to remove my old ones, the lug key broke so instead of waiting a few days to get a new lug key I went to these guys to see if they’d help. Again they were super friendly, for $ 25 dollars they mounted the new wheels and gave me a new lug key. Not only that but after the fact they offered to swap the better tire to the not so beat up rim so I’d have a full sized spare, they did it to be nice, didn’t charge me for it or anything. I’m really impressed with these guys.
