Ok. To begin, I’m going to admit, I’m partial to independent small businesses. The food is good, likely everyone can find something they like on the menu. Wide variety for a small place. Prices are very reasonable. This place smells clean when you walk in and looks it! Can’t say that about a lot of bar-​restaurants. The Louie (sandwich) is my hubby’s favorite. Nice place. Nice people.

As a lounge/​bar it’s pretty chill. Good environment. Food is ok. The sausage roll isn’t ground sausage but small chunks. I like that. Their grinder is pretty decent. But their sides are lacking a bit. Get a shiner block and a sausage roll, and you’re good!

It’s a neighborhood bar with a lengthy martini menu. To be honest, their martini’s are mediocre. They have fun names, taste good, but they won’t get you buzzed. To me they are a little disappointing, but they make a good jack and coke and those are strong! Order the oyster crackers for an app… they are zesty and surprising, and delicious. Haven’t actually eat here though, it’s usually a pre game spot or we like to sit in the lounge and catch up with friends or meet new ones. They have a juke box too if you want to play some tunes.

Cocktails is a bit hard to find. It’s located next to the Dairy Queen on the corner of Maplecrest and Stellhorn (next to Big Lots). The first thing I noticed was the relaxed layout. One corner is dedicated to a lounge like environment, compete with a couch, chairs, and a coffee table. They also have the usual set of bar stools, tables and booths. A fireplace sits in the middle. The entire place is nicely lit with dim overhangs. Overall, the atmosphere is retro and comfortable.
The menu is somewhat limited, sausage rolls and such. But the food is perfect for a snack. Like the name suggests, this is a place to come to drink with friends. The prices are fair. A few more draft choices would be nice, but overall it’s a great place to get away for a few drinks.
