Fantastic! Best Indian food I’ve ever had. What a gem. Service was outstanding. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I highly recommend it.

We went with a large party of about 20 and the food and service was amazing. The food was hot and more importantly so flavorful. I have never been a fan of lamb, but ended up eating several lamb chop appetizers because the seasonings were amazing. The curries and tandoori were spectacular. We will definitely be stopping in again. We have been searching for a restaurant that serves amazing Indian food and we found it. I will definitely make the 2 hour drive to come back!!!

I had an amazing experience at the Palace of Asia! Living in the city I have access to a variety of ethnic foods, so I was a little weary of what I’d find in the suburbs. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the authentic quality and presentation of the food! The service was impeccable! There was a personalized touch on everything. I do work in Fort Washington, and am excited to return to the Palace of Asia to try more delicious dishes!

Palace of Asia is my go to place for Indian food. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is great, and the food is absolutely delicious. My favorite dish is the tiki masala but everything I’ve tried here has been great! Would definitely recommend.

i’m not from this area, and i happened to be staying at the best-western next door. i also happened to be really tired and without car, so i figured i would hit this place up for some indian food, and i’m glad i did. the service was outstanding. my waiter, Raj, saw that i didn’t eat the abundance of red-onions in my house salad, so he brought me an extra plate with everything but red-onions. i’m a spicy food guy, so i ordered the chicken-vindaloo extra spicy, and they whipped up a batch that was perfectly hot. just hot enough so i started sweating a little, but not so hot that i couldn’t taste the excellent blend of spices. he also topped off my rice when it was getting low, and i’m glad because the rice was very good as well. all in all a positive experience. i would definitely recommend to indian food lovers.

Wonderful food, superb service. I ordered all vegetarian items and I could tell they were freshly made. Also I’m a tough critic on mango lassi and their lassi’s are phenomenal. We’ve talked to the owner and all the wait staff and they are very nice and accommodate our needs. My friend who joins me often gets the tandoori and LOVES it. Rajiv is the waiter we had and he is so pleasant! I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

My friend and I were staying at the Best Western that is connected to the Palace of Asia and decided to give it a try. When we approached the door and noticed all the ZAGAT stickers, I knew then we were in for a treat. Everything was amazing. The service was friendly, the deco was gorgeous(check out their stunning marble bar top), and the food was out of this world. The Malai Kofta… it was so damn good. The best I’ve ever had. So thank you Palace of Asia for being so awesome! If I didn’t live 4 hours away I would be there all the time! Keep up the great work.

I have been going to this place for years. This place is frequented by many Indians and they also have ample banquet space. I’ve been to a couple parties over the years here and the food has always been fantastic. The lamb chops and chicken tikka is fantastic. We always ask for the dish to be Desai spicy and it is perfect. PAneer burji is excellent and on the dry side which I enjoyed. Saag paneer is spot on and not greasy at all. Chicken tikka masala is tasty because the chicken pieces themselves are full of flavor. The goat curry that the chef made was fantastic and I have also enjoyed the lamb roganjosh. This place is a great hidden gem for a romantic date night or group dining. This place looks much nicer than your general Indian restaurant and they have a full bar. Next time I go I will take some pictures. If you’re reading this review and wondering if you should go here or elsewhere, try this place out and remember to order indian spicy if you like it spicy. Enjoy! I think I’ve talked myself into driving their now for lunch.

Very few times can I find an amazing Indian dish that surpasses my expectations but this was one of those times! My husband and I are very picky about the quality of food we eat and so we are very selective about where we eat out. But the Palace of Asia was exceptional. We the chicken tikka masala and lamb korma and we had vegetable and lamb samosas. Every single item was fresh, made from scratch and extremely tasty. The meats were all very tender, the spices were expertly mixed and the meal was a really enjoyable dining experience. The sauces for the samosas were delectable! Wow! So flavorful! The service was very personal and the waiter explained the menu options and selections and customized our meals for us. For me to stop and take time from my day to write a review is rare so the fact that I was blown away enough to take the time and write this says a lot! Loved this meal!

It all started with a Living Social Deal. I work nearby, but never tried. Picked up a living social and invited a co-worker to lunch. She and I went out to eat there. Sat down and immediately told the waiter about the Living Social voucher, as it stated. He said«Great!» and pointed us in the direction of the Lunch Buffet set up in the upper section. No menus were given and the buffet was our only option for lunch as we understood. The meal was decent, but nothing to write home about. There was no spicy food, which shocked me a bit as I am used to Indian food being spicy and having lots of flavor. This was bland and just decent. We ate. The dessert choice(the only choice) were fried dough balls floating in overly sweet sugar water, it was horrible and made me gag. No other choices of dessert. We go to pay and the waiter takes our voucher. Comes back 5 minutes later and informs us that the voucher is for Dine-In only. We look around the dining room and inform him that we are, in fact, dining in. He says, «No, you had the buffet, for the voucher, you have to order from the menu!» We ask him, «What menu? We were not offered a menu.» He tells us he is new and cannot accept the voucher. The manager comes out and tells us that the voucher clearly states that it is for dining in and he will not accept it. Again, we say«We are dining in!» He tells us to take up the matter with Living Social as it is not his problem. I explain that this is horrible service and if he wanted to draw in new customers, this is not the way to do it. He shrugs at us and tells us to pay the full bill, no vouchers. I explain that I will write a negative Unilocal review because this is horrible and we followed the voucher to the T. He tells me I am threatening him and walks away. Great! I will never ever step foot in that place again.

The food is fantastic and they were extremely nice and accomodating!(Only 4 stars b/c I never give 5). My fiancé and I are staying at a hotel nearby and were given a list of restaurants that may deliver. When I saw indian food could be delivered I couldnt believe it! I love indian cuisine, but the only delivery I can get back home is chinese and pizza! I ordered a vegetable vindaloo(not on the menu but I love vindaloo sauce and wasnt in the mood for meat.) They didnt even hesitate when I asked for it, just said okay and moved on. My fiancé got a lamb rice dish extra spicy and we shared garlic nann. Everything was delicious and was delivered quickly… still piping hot! Couldnt be happier. Will definitely order again… but next time from a table in the restaurant so we can check out the place and try a drink or two :).

Horrible customer service. I thought I was doing a favor by calling them with my compliant after picking up my to-go order INSTEAD of writing a review but the person on the phone made it clear he could care less. «The $ 14 dish in a tiny container is just not right!» He said I «might be right»…agreeing with me. Well, thanks for agreeing and admitting your thievery.

20 years ago, this was our«Woohoo As Good As It Gets» Indian restaurant. Just the best. All of your standard dishes, but their Punjabi chef did something to make everything taste a little bit better, and different. This is why The Wife and I ate here the evening after our noon wedding. There weren’t other Indian places in the Philly suburbs that I can remember. I visited here again in 2013, and was pleased to see(and taste, really) that it hadn’t declined, or at least not by much. The chicken tikka masala was still excellent, but not quite as distinctive. Oddly, one thing I remembered fondly was the tamarind chutney being outstanding, but this time it was just pretty good. I’ve never understood how this place stays open — there was hardly anyone there when we used to go more frequently, and during my last visit, I was the only customer. I suppose it’s heavily subsidized by the attached hotel? At least that gives the place a nice air of class. It’s has the atmosphere and décor of a good restaurant, certainly better than almost any other Indian place I’ve visited.

If you miss dining at Palace of Asia in lieu of another Indian restaurant, you have absolutely wasted a meal. This is the best Indian cuisine in the area with the exception of my Mom’s cooking. The Chicken Tikka, Chana Masala, and Malai Kofta are a great place to start.

I have only been to Palace of Asia for the lunch buffet, so my experience is limited in that sense, but I have a few problems with the restaurant in general. First, the restaurant is a little old and run down. It’s located in the bottom of a economy hotel, so I guess it’s on par with the building itself, but I think it could use updating. With this place right in the middle of the business park, it could really be bustling, but I think some people would be turned off by the state of the facility itself. As far as the food goes, I actually like it – no problems with taste — a lot of spice and flavor. With that said, I think you should plan to get there on the early side(by 12:30 at the latest) if you’re going for the buffet. I’ve gotten there for a later lunch to find that they’re stopped restocking the buffet leaving you scraping the bottom of the pot to get the last of the sauce. I’m paying the same as anyone else, so if you’re going to keep the buffet running at that time, it needs to stay stocked. As I said, food-wise, I think it’s good, but there are other Indian restaurants in the area that are a little newer and updated that I prefer.
