We hired this moving company [M&B Logistics] to move my pregnant fiancé’s and my stuff to our new home. The owner, Solomon Milburn used at risk youths (or cheap labor for him) for movers — the oldest mover was 20 years old and openly admitted he spending time in jail. The young boys worked very hard, but were inexperienced. What should have taken 6 hours took over 15 hours because the movers were constantly arguing with each other, especially when they did not understand how to break down the furniture. i.e. They could not figure out how to breakdown a treadmill (never broke it down or got it in the house, it took me alone 5 mins. to figure out and complete).
Mr. Milburn himself is not without fault. My fiancé is 7 months pregnant and requested packing services from him and he gave us a quote for «white glove» treatment. The team he sent out did not have boxes, tape, or a effective dolly and were not prepared to pack anything. They broke several pieces of furniture and ultimately left a $ 600 rug unattended as well as leaving the loft area almost untouched. In the 14^th hour of the move of a ONE BEDROOM apartment, the crew gave up on reassembling the furniture at our new home. At the end of this disaster, we were $ 910 poorer. He had excuses for everything, no official paperwork and DEMANDED CASH ONLY! I had to call him today, 4 days later, for a receipt which at the time of this post I still have not received via email. PLEASE STAY AWAY.
