The blackened fish tacos are amazing! We’ve eaten here a few times, food has been spot on, great service!

Absolutely love this place. Definitely taken back by the idea of a drive in beer joint where I can get a gallon of beer on tap! The gal that assisted us was courteous and helpful. We did have a brisket taco with corn tortilla that was quite delicious. Zero complaints–

The atmosphere and setup of this place is the best thing about it. The tacos were okay. I like the bbq and boom boom shrimp the best. The chicken tasted like it just sat in a crockpot all day and was never seasoned. Prices are decent so you don’t feel terrible about paying for mediocre tacos.

Cute idea. Food not so much. Everything was cold, rice was extremely cold and super boring. Everything needed salt and meat seemed canned? I really wanted to like this place but I think the high ratings of other reviews are because of the fun «drive through» concept. NOT like Mexico, Texas, California or the like. Come on people. It’s not authentic or even good. Sorry.

This place isn’t fancy at all, but the food was delicious! Get the fish tacos. I recommend either driving through (you literally drive through the building) or going in and grabbing your food to go. There is a small picnic table area indoors, but it’s not much.

Tacos are amazing here. Small menu but flawlessly executed. The blackened fish Tacos are my favorite, with the carnitas a close second. The amount of meat and goods on the Tacos couldn’t be better and for the price? I don’t think you can find a better deal in Fort Walton Beach. I would expect to pay well over 13 $ for three tacos that have this high quality of ingredients and such a large portion sizes but it’s only 7 $ bucks! !!
I love their hot salsa and their guacamole is spot on, their refried beans are super legit. The service is fast and friendly and they have a drive through! Beer menu here as well with a few on draft and a nice bottled selection.
I eat here weakly. Me and my office colleagues love this place, my friend says the fried shrimp tacos are to die for so that is next on my list. This place is near Eglin Parkway but kind of tucked away in the corner but it should not be missed. Best taco joint around in FWB… be sure to stop in. Call ahead, eat in or drive through — excellent food.

Tacos are really good and fresh. A variety of flavors profiles in their taco menu. Ice cold beer. Sports on the TV. This would be a great place for a small group to come and watch sports, eat and be merry. A nice local restaurant addition to the otherwise homogenous franchise food that plagues the area.

Cool place. So happy that we have something like this in our town. We were greeted immediately and she explained their menu to us. They seemed to enjoy their job which was a nice change. They were busy but our food was out pretty quickly. Great food with a smile.

Average food for a really good price with very nice people. It’s kind of a new concept for me but apparently the location and business itself is a fort Walton beach icon. I don’t know about that but it’s a drive thru with a small indoor seating area but you can get draft beer Togo in a jug that is sealed. I don’t drink so I came for the food which like I said was average. They’re really wasn’t anything wrong with my food except some of the toppings listed were mixed up. (Pickled onions on my fried shrimp taco). I got a blackened fish, fried shrimp and a brisket taco, 3 good size tacos on flour torts for $ 7 definitely not a bad deal. The reason I’m giving 3 stars 1 for service, 1 for price and 1 for location/​atmosphere, is because the chips and brisket were extremely over salted and my date said his chicken tacos were Luke warm. If I could give them some advice as a kitchen manager myself it would be to watch the salt, salt does not always equal flavor, and the build of the tacos as some of the toppings were not what was listed on menu and to at least warm the tortillas because if the protein is hot but you add cold produce ingredients and a cold tortilla you get a Luke warm taco which isn’t ideal. But this place did just open so I’m remaining open minded and will try it again but probably not the brisket. Oh and the queso was pretty good too.

The food is about 10 steps above Taco Town and a step below a standard Tex-​mex restaurant. I got the carnitas burrito which came with chips and salsa for 6 bucks. The portion size was more than generous for this price range. I’m torn between upgrading this place to 4 stars because honestly, I left full and content. But I wasn’t blown away. The biggest complaint is that the tortillas themselves were standard white store bought variety. The whole thing reminded me of something I could make at home. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn’t offer a compelling reason to go buy it elsewhere either.
The beer selection was underwhelming, which is unfortunate since it’s supposed to be one of the bigger draws of this place. They only had one dark beer on draft, which would be fine at Bubba’s Jukebox Junction, but not at a place that brags about its beer selection. I’d be willing to bet that the draft selection rotates like any other place, so this might be a moot point.
Service was fine. Food was delivered quickly and everyone was friendly.
I’m going to be optimistic and guess that this place is going to really hit its stride in the near future. Looking forward to trying it again in a couple months to see how things have improved.

Good vibes. Good customer service. I did the drive thru option. Prices were very affordable. Got home and noticed that they messed up some toppings unspecified. No biggie. Portions seemed normal. I will edit the review after I go back again.
But I will go back, place is aesthetically pleasing and clean. Anxious for an affordable second visit.
