Good food, service not so good. Didn’t have oysters but the girl told us it was the special.

Not good. I won’t bore you with all the details, but the food was bad, the service was bad, and the live music was bad. Also, the atmosphere was bad. Other than that though. ..

We went for Mother’s Day brunch buffet. Everything was sub par, especially for a 34 $ a person price tag. There were a couple of items on the buffet that were pretty good. The shrimp were good. they were big and not over cooked. The brisket was pretty good. Little dry but overall tasty. The eggs were the same fake eggs you get at Golden Corral and same thing with the bacon. There was a tray that had chicken and pork chops in it. It looked so bad everyone opened it and closed it no one took anything. Later I looked and nothing was missing from that tray. Looked Pale white and tasteless. Overall the service was good and the view is great if you sit outside. But for 34 a person I expect top quality and this was not it. Very disappointed. I miss big city !

A total fail. Had a table of 5 first timers plus me. All of the first timers won’t be back. Got seated at 7:40. Hardly anyone in restaurant and did not get out until 9:40. WAYTOOLONG!!! Advised management. They did nothing. You got one more chance. Maybe.

Really wish I could rate this place better, but no. Great property, nice atmosphere and friendly staff but they fell short in two key ways; the kitchen and expectations of the staff. We’re local and have been there before, but expected way better. We sat outside(thanks for fixing us a table up outside!) and it was immediately evident that they were behind. Way behind. There was a gentleman who was frustrated with the time involved and resigned to going to the bar after his own drinks. The ladies next to us complained a bit that they had been there an hour and a half and hadn’t got their orders. They were told it was busy, they were behind, so sorry, etc. we asked our server if it was going to be the same duration for us, and I made clear we just weren’t ready to invest that kind of time. She said no, it was getting better. Not 100% true. Bottom line, we waited about an hour for food, were told after 40 minutes they were«putting the finishing touches» on our orders, and then got served 20 minutes later a bland and less than hot chicken Marsala. Manager said she’d take care of the entrees. Nice gesture, but we had already been there way too long and it turned out she comp’d one adult entrée, one kid entrée and 10% the other adult. The place was clearing out the whole time we were waiting on food, so not sure whatever hold up was. Overall the limitations and offerings of the kitchen fell short this time. I feel deliberately misled by the explanations and even for not come clean with the expected time. Our server had the opportunity to come clean on the expected wait, but didn’t either because she knew an didn’t care or didn’t know and didn’t mind. Either way, staff failure. We could have parted easily looking forward to another chance, but I think we’ll add the place to the«no thanks» list. Nice view and friendly staff if you have all night and don’t expect greatness from the kitchen.

Friday 6pm delivery. Took them 1:15 min to deliver. Ordered a pep pizza, chicken wrap, kids menu pasta with chicken and a Cremebrulee for dessert. Total of $ 52 and change. Average pizza, average wrap, average pasta with chicken. Gave 3 stars because of the dessert. One time was enough for me to try this place.

One star for the apple martini which was the best part of my night. Oh and another star for cute water serving bottle and glasses. Went for a group dinner. Only 2 choices if you do a big party and whatnot. Chicken Marsala was the driest chicken I have ever had. Friends took them back but I already witnessed them bring our table’s food to the next table who ordered after us. So at this point I just couldn’t do the waiting anymore. I just didn’t finish the chicken. Service was okay in the beginning but they would disappear for a long amounts of time. I understand that it’s hard to attend to a big group but if you’re gonna charge around 20 plus a plate for some chicken marsala and penne croatia drenched in pesto, I expect some clean silverware at the least. Mine was filthy and they think I wouldn’t notice with the dimmed Christmas lights. It’s like a garbage restaurant disguised as some fancy place. Everything was a joke and note: 20% gratuity added by default with a big group. I will not be returning.

We enjoyed ourselves so much Friday night that we came back again Saturday. The bar in the back has live music but it isn’t so loud that you can’t speak. Friday we had the lasagna with bechamel sauce and the carbonara, Saturday we split the spinach pizza with added sausage and a side of meatballs. So good!!! Can’t wait to come back and sit outside on the deck.

My husband and I had dinner here last night and it was amazing. We had the antipasto appetizer veal cattorie and the braised pork with Alfredo and vegetable medley. It was so good from our first bite to the last. We left full and satisfied. The drink are also amazing. We had the long Island love potion and a blue martini. The customer service was great we were allowed to eat in peace with not any hovering but to take our orders to check on us even the owners came to see our table. They are also very accommodating with children we took our son with us n he throughly enjoyed himself. not a long wait from front door to table to the first course. I love this place and I believe it’s the best Italian restaurant in this area.

I’d like to caveat my review by saying that I’m originally from New York City, love to cook Italian and am a very critical food snob. I hate to give such a poor review but this place needs to have some constructive criticism(or at least re-train the chef who cooked our meal). First, the good, I had a great bottle of Grenache for $ 24. The bread was good. I couldn’t tell if it was homemade but nonetheless I abundantly consumed said bread. Onto the bad, my chicken cacciatore was downright terrible. Burnt flecks of pan scum polka-dotted my red sauce-covered plate. Contrary to frequent consumers of the ever-popular and authentic Olive Garden, Italian food does not mean a plate of pasta and chicken covered in red sauce. All of my veggies were undercooked and closer to raw and bland than properly tender and seasoned. The worst mistake I noted was two completely raw garlic cloves on my plate. Was there a new chef in the kitchen without culinary training? Completely inexcusable. I hated to tell them the problem with my meal when I noticeably picked around my plate but I politely did. I was offered 10% off and given an excuse that the meal was cooked on the same surface as the steaks. I’m sorry but that’s absurd. This place isn’t cheap(not much in Destin is) and diners deserve a decently-cooked meal. If you’d like a second opinion, you should know my boyfriend ordered the«braised» pork but was served dried out, pan-fried and breaded pork loin. He ate as much as he could tolerate. To end our utterly sub-par experience, they also admitted to sending out a first-timer to do the bananas foster. It was underwhelming for bananas foster because the bananas weren’t as ripe as they should be. The caramel never came together in the beautiful brown hue it’s famous for, but at least it was edible. I’m really hoping it was an off night and that they take this information to heart.

We truly love dining here. It is a Must-visit when we have guests in town. And, of course, a staple among our own dining preferences. Service is always prompt, friendly and professional. Food is of the highest quality and freshness is oh so apparent. Portions are a gracious, plenty. Enough to share, unless you want some wicked leftovers… I don’t usually do leftovers… but these are a definite. Prices are also better than some competitors. Have never had a bad or questionable meal. Much better than some other«highly recommended«Italian joints. Enjoy.

This place was scrumptious. We ate outside and had fast, helpful service. The«burning cheese» appetizer was yummy, although I recommend skipping the pita chips(that come as part of the appetizer) and going straight for the garlic bread they serve with the main meal. To me, the Mediterranean pasta(a special, with shrimp & artichoke hearts) was more enjoyable than the signature dish: Penne a la Vodka with chicken. Both were great, but the Mediterranean tastes are my preference. On the neg side, eating outside comes with nature and her natural gifts: cold air, for one. On a busy night, parking is not ideal.

Love the area this place is in, so eclectic! The food was super yummy. The Bruschetta Salmon(appetizer) was delicious and is definitely a great way to start the night! I had the Lobster Ravioli and it was so good, and RICH. I went with 6 other people and I tried bites of everyone’s dishes. The Chicken Cacciatore was tender and yummy, the grouper was tender and had a wondeeful herby/smokey flavor, the Pesto Croatia was light and flavorful, and you really can’t go wrong with the steak! The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a long wait between the appetizer and the entrée. Other than that though, the staff was extremely friendly, the décor is cute, and the view of the bay is beautiful!

The atmosphere and location are great! My friend lives really close and we decided to call the restaurant to see if they would pick us up in their golf cart! They did and they were very fast and courteous. The menu is quite extensive and so is the drink and wine menu. I ordered the zucchini appetizer and it was decent. I ordered the lasagna because I didn’t feel like being adventurous and I was not a fan. Also ordered the tiramisu and I have certainly had better. Everyone else meal looked good and overall the experience was positive. Overall, great little place for a date or ladies night! Oh and we were driven in the little golf cart back home. It was fun. :)
