About 6 months before 15 North was announced I was telling a friend that we need a good brick oven pizza place in Ft. Thomas. It was very exciting to hear that they were coming and had a good history. I tried 15 North shortly after they opened and found the pizza to be just OK. We ordered a mushroom special and I usually like some meat on my pizza. I chalked up that experience to the fact that they were still figuring things out and I would try a pizza of my choosing next time. Months later I saw an offer for 50% off and took advantage of ordering carryout. A meat special and a margherita pizza for the kids. The crust is good, the pizzas are medium sized and the toppings are sparce. I hold hope that they get the food and the service figured out because the outdoor seating and live music are very attractive. You can get MUCH better pizza at Buona Vita or Strongs Brick Oven.

Food was good, not great. Service and prices were bad. We were one of three tables in the whole place and it still took nearly an hour to get our food and eat. About 20 minutes for a salad. Almost $ 50 for two pizzas, a salad with chicken, and two soft drinks. I won’t return.

First time there, Pizza was excellent. The drinks and food is on the higher end of the dollar amount but it was excellent food.

This pizza place is nowhere near where we live, but the food was so delicious that we ate like kings having salads, pizza and even dessert. We know we will trek back from northern Cincinnati because it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had in the region. We don’t normally order so much food but with each course shining so brightly, we felt as though we needed to experience all the offerings. We even ordered a pizza to go so that we could have a Monday lunch to which we could look forward. The décor is well designed & although the Sunday night we visited was cold & icy, we each soon found ourselves thawing out with a comforting cup of jasmine tea. The apple salad was amazing. My husband had the cucumber panacelli(or called something like that,) with tomatoes that were so fresh & out of this world that I wonder whether the place has made a Faustian deal. We chose the Harvest wood fired pizza and all the veggies were FRESH-FRESH-FRESH! Dessert was the stuffed dates which were sublime. I can’t rave enough about the freshness of the ingredients. The tomatoes alone are a reason to check it out! The staff was friendly & helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the annoying music playing on their speakers. Something a little less jarring would be nice.

It is hard to run a family business, but I do prefer it to the chain food places. Ed and Lori always greet us with a smile and make my son and I feel like family. The smokehouse sandwich is awesome! Live music or ½ off wine… You can’t go wrong supporting this local small business.

Good pizza, properly made, hot with decent ingredients… nothing fancy just OK and something you would want to eat again. First impression walking in was the place was not well maintained and had poor curb appeal. However, as stated the food was good enough with lots of upside if they executed more seriously. This place has a lot of potential but their service is painfully slow and nonexistent. I was in the neighborhood for a meeting and it was really the only place to grab a quick lunch… quick is not their best suit. Besides, having to wait a long time to have someone greet us we also had to ask for almost everything from silverware to napkins to refills. Faster and more friendly service would be a hit.

Exactly what you are looking for if you want fresh ingredients, delicious food in a family owned pizza place. Good selection of craft beers and real wood fired pizza. Yum!

I really want this place to make it but based on my past two visits I fear that repeat business is not going to be their strong suit. First off if you are going to have a handicapped access it should be well lit and the door unlocked. My wife who has severe vision issues due to a recent surgery had to be left standing on the ramp while I went around the building to open the door which BTW is blocked with bus carts. The food is well prepared and the salads are extremely good with lots of crisp fresh ingredients. Pizza’s are also top notch… When they FINALLY arrive. On the last visit I ordered the Italian sandwich which came with chips. ingredients were tasty but I was disappointed that the sandwich is served cold, wish that would have been made clear as I felt as if I could have crossed the street to Subway and got the same thing. Ambiance is nice however the open seating area is quite conducive to creating a high noise level as the room fills. Problem here is the total lack of service. Once the food arrived on my last visit all 3 in my party asked for another round of drinks to go with our meals. After 15 minutes we had to flag somebody else down to inquire as to the ETA of our beverages. Our food was mostly gone and we were sitting with empty water glasses and sorely needing some beer and wine. When it did arrive we were told the ticket was misplaced and the round would be taken care of. That’s nice but I would rather pay and get it when I order it not twenty minutes later. Then for a final nightcap my wife ordered a Pinot, my cousin a shot of Blantons, and I opted for the Bulliet Rye Manhattan. That’s about $ 30.00 worth of alcohol. Again, the drinks never arrived. When I finally looked at the bar they were all 3 just sitting on the corner while people kept walking past them. After about ten minutes I elected to just get them myself if I wanted to have them that day. As I approached the bar I was told the Manhattan needed a cherry still… Uh, wheels would have been better as it at least may have attempted to find my table. And obviously the bartender only had a general idea of what a Manhattan was as it was almost all Vermouth. Of course then at that point I guess that we were put on the ignore list as we never were checked on for dessert and our check was just dropped off without a word. Sad really as we were never obnoxious at any point, just irritated. My recommendation is that if you like the food just call in a carryout order and enjoy the food at home.

We have eaten here several times. We were excited to have authentic Italian pizza within walking distance of our home. However the cost is high for the quality of the food. Two adults and two kids with nothing but soft drinks for $ 60 including tip is a lot for pizza. But the biggest issue is how slow the service is. The first two or three times we ate there, we were outside. Now that it’s cooler at night, we decided to eat inside. It was eye opening. The kitchen is open, and we watched and watched as the pizzas were made as if the workers had all the time in the world. And we watched as other people’s food sat on a counter ready, but setting for minutes while the female proprietor argued with her husband and ushered their small children upstairs more than once. And we watched as someone came in from the patio to cancel their order after waiting 45 minutes for food. I wish we had done the same. I really wanted to like this place, but we have decided not to go back.

Service is very slow. First time here very very disappointed in service. Slow slow. Pizza was good I think very overrated. The outside was nice with live music. If you need to ask the server for refill multi times — there a problem. I prefer 915 or midway for local places. Skip this place.

Great family owned place to get a personal speciality pizza. Great music, and people to make the perfect atmosphere. Enjoy seeing the owner work as hard as his employees to make the place somewhere you will want to return and let others know about the place. Food is great, specialty pizza, JJs doughballs are excellent. The dessert with dates amazing. May not like dates as I don’t either but take a small bite with ice cream it will change your mind.

We came in tonight. My first time. A toilet in the bathroom was completely clogged and disgusting. There was hardly anyone there. We chose to sit outside. We picked a seat and waited and waited and waited. There were 6 tables and 3 servers. No one waited on us. We finally left. As we were leaving, a table of 15 showed up. I can only imagine how that may have set them back. Sorry. We really wanted to try it. I would suggest getting more organized. And create some more ambiance on the patio. I really wanted to like this place. I really want more restaurants in ft Thomas!

Pizza is good here. Fresh quality ingredients. My favorite part was the water, and I don’t mean that sarcastically or as an insult, cuz the pizza is good. Hard to find filtered water anywhere, or glasses that don’t leave a soap taste. High quality h2o is underrated. Service was terrible, in a try hard-hard way. 3 hostesses for a small place that was«slammed» seemed excessive. Hopefully the hosts are waiters or cooks in training. Took a couple minutes to get noticed by the the 3 different hosts. Then, had to explain to the host how to see if a table was empty outside. Waiter took order, much later had to yell at him for check, that’s the only two times we talked to him for the entire visit. Food brought out after long wait, at least an hour, just kidding, this wasn’t for us! Hustled to the back and then came back out and brought same food to a different table. When we asked a lady who looked like a manager/owner, she told us it was slammed upstairs as well. Considering we went up there to be seated and saw hardly anyone, maybe there realize there is a back entrance we didn’t know about… Probably where you go to get seated properly. Band outside a notch too loud. If you can’t hit the notes on your 2005 emo songs or goo goo dolls covers, just turn it down a bit and we won’t notice. Maybe the waiter could hear our order then and not mess it up.

I was really excited to come check this place out! It is in walking distance from my house, and I love pizza, so it sounded like a great combination to me! It was a beautiful night out, so we decided to sit outside on the patio. That was a great decision because they ended up having live music for the evening(Carter New Band — a great local kid, so check him out if you’re able to)! Our server was nothing short of fabulous! They have a pretty good beer menu for such a tiny place, with several brews I’ve never even heard of. Sometimes I like to play a little roulette and just randomly choose a beer. When I did, the server highly recommended I sample it first. She ended up bringing me several samples which really helped me make my decision. Like I said, I was really surprised with the great beer selection they offered — you will not be disappointed! Now to the pizza! I had the arugula-prosciutto, and it was glorious! The woodfired crust has just the right amount of crunch and chew to it, and the toppings were outstanding! My boyfriend got the Polaris, which had pepperoni, sausage, and ham, and it was delicious too! One pizza per person was the right amount. I did go inside to use the restroom and check out the brick oven, and I will say — sitting outside is where it’s at! My public service announcement is as follows: it seems whatever business is in this location tends to not last — Fort Thomas isn’t usually a foodie destination, after all. I don’t want that to be the case here; it’s a great little pizza place in my hometown, and I love the convenience of walking here for a fun little date night. Please, please, please come check out 15 North so it sticks around. I promise you’ll love it!

We went one of the first nights they were open but went again last night. This time the service was way better! We ordered the margherita pizza and a roasted beet salad. The salad was nice and flavorful. The pizza was delicious, crispy, and fresh! The inside was a bit loud but there were several families with children. We hope to go again when the weather is nice to sit out on the patio. I’m glad Ft. Thomas has this pizza place with quality eats!

We finally got a chance to check out the latest addition to our neighborhood. We sat outside on the spacious patio. Plenty of room there for you and your group of friends, by the way. My fiancé’ and I decided to split everything. We started with the Leafy Greens salad. Our server mentioned that it was a full size salad and had it split for us before it came to our table. It was fresh, and the vinaigrette dressing was perfect. We then split the Matador pizza. Very fresh, very delicious. I’m picky about pizza and especially the crust. The dough is definitely home made. I might have considered it bland, if it had not been for the taste that the wood fire oven left on the crust. It may not be for everyone, but my fiancé’ and I certainly enjoyed it. And then, there was desert. Stuffed dates. Enough said? No. I’m going to give you a full on description of delicious dates stuffed with mascarpone, sprinkled lightly with sea salt and placed on plate that was delicately drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, AND served with vanilla bean gelato on the side. Holy cow it was good! Kelsey, our server was super nice. Our experience was great and we enjoyed the food, and we’ll be back again.

I was so badly wanted 15 North to be great due to the other sub-par pizza places collected in and around the Fort Thomas area, and my expectations were more than exceeded. My wife and I ordered a salad, appetizer and a pizza, and all were good, but I will say the pizza«stole the show». The wood oven technique utilized to cook the pizzas provides a very unique texture to go with the awesome taste of the crust. As for the other components of he pizza, you could absolutely tell that every bite was made with top quality ingredients. There might be some that take exception to paying $ 11 — $ 14 for a pizza that is generally smaller than you would get elsewhere at a lesser quality place, but not me — I’m very happy to have these guys in the neighborhood and am thankful I don’t have to run over to Covington or Cincinnati for a good pie any longer. Welcome to the neighborhood 15 North!

Wood-fired Pizza where everything is made from scratch. Hometown feel with great food! This is definitely the best business to settle into this establishment. The hostess was a little disorganized, but that is to be expected for an opening business one week into operation. For an appetizer, we had the bruschetta which was phenomenal, however, it should’ve been served with a few more pieces of toasted bread with the amount of bruschetta provided. It was very reasonably priced at $ 5. For the pizza, we had the Prosciutto Arugula which was average and the Margherita, which was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. All pizzas are small, serving 1 – 2 people each, and range from $ 10-$ 14. For dessert, I HIGHLY recommend the stuffed dates. They are stuffed with caramel and topped with rock salt and served with a scoop of vanilla gelato. Extremely impressive. The menu also has other items such as salads, but we did not try them. One of my favorite things was the craft beer selection as well as the bar/open table environment. Multiple craft beers on tap(seemed like there were 5 – 6 taps) and the bottle list was even bigger. I had the West 6thIPA. Wine was overpriced at $ 9/glass. Servers were knowledgable and friendly, as well. Outdoor seating is available and they currently do not take carry out orders. Owner noted that they will do carry out orders after the business is up and running/stable in a few weeks. Overall, this is the best food option in Fort Thomas. I believe it is better than the other common wood-fired pizzerias in the greater Cincinnati area(Strongs and A Tavola). Support local business and check this place out! Highly recommended.
