Thank goodness for a well named store! There might have been confusion as to the use of this building if not for the many signs proclaiming that this is «The Thrift Shop.» Open Tuesday-Saturday, from 9am to 1pm(2pm on Saturday!) this small store contains the ever flowing«extras» from the Ft. Sill community. Everything from clothing to furniture, with a small selection of toys and collectables tossed in, this is a true treasure hunt. It is volunteer run, and most of the ladies are on the older side, so you will have to pick things up and move them around on your own. It is well worth the time and the effort, though. On my last visit I tried out three recliners priced below $ 60, two dining room sets priced at $ 150, and a fondue pot for the low price of $ 10. If you are new to town and are looking for a bargain, they probably have what you need. Just remember to return the favor and drop a few things off on your way out of town, and the cycle will continue! Sadly, The Thrift Shop is open only to military ID card holders.
