Thank you Merta for a wonderful manicure and pedicure and for a true spa experience. I recently moved from CT and you wouldn’t believe how difficult it was finding a place for a good manicure and pedicure.

Great first, second and third experiences. I was very happy to return each time and I wish I had more time to visit (honestly, frequent) this day spa.
All the staff I have encountered, hair style, pedi, express pedi, express Pedi and now deep cleansing facial have all been fantastic. This is the first place I call when looking for personal service.
Give them a try! The owners, Mirta and Rufus are lovely.

Me and a friend went to check our Rumirs Day Spa as we are new to Ft Pierce and we’re looking for somewhere to go for hair cuts, waxing and mani/​pedis. We went on a weekday in the afternoon and it was quiet (which I like) and got a great service. My friend got some waxing done and a pedicure and I got a manicure. The owners are really lovely, welcoming and accommodating which is very rare nowadays — it’s usually like going into a nail factory with impersonal service so I was very pleasantly surprised with the service here. Will definitely be visiting again soon :)

I recently moved to Fort Pierce, and Rumirs Spa was the first spa I went to due to it’s wonderful location. Unfortunately, a good location is all that this spa has going for them. My boyfriend and I went in to get a foot massage and pedicure, and it felt as if we were being rushed. Also, instead of getting a foot massage, we did about 15 minutes of soaking, then got a hot towel put on our feet for another 10 min. It seemed as if they were just wasting time instead of putting forth any effort. On top of that, they had a radio playing instead of soothing spa music. So while I’m trying to relax, I’m having to listen to infomercials. We spent over a hundred dollars on something that the chinese women do 10xs better at their salons. I was going to give them a second chance and called up there to get info on body wraps and spa packages. The gentlemen was very short with me and decided that another customer was more important than me and ended up putting me on hold. I don’t know about you, but if I intend on spending a few hundred dollars at a spa, I expect my phone call to be a number one priority! They have lost any hope of ever receiving my business.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! This salon is great actually more than great Amazing! Hairdresser is the best and I’ve gone through a lot of them but she is a angel. The owners are great the salon is in a great location I couldn’t be more happier to have found this place. Thank you so much see you guys soon for spray tan. :) Jessica

Had a horrible experience TWICE! Got a gift certificate for a massage and facial first and they were way below par. I wanted to give them one more chance and went last week To get eyelash extensions and it was a nightmare! They were noticeably uneven, unnatural looking and we’re painful. I had to take them off a few days later!
I have friends who have experienced the same results.
I strongly recommend everyone to stay away from this place.

You will get a very personal experience at Rumirs for a reasonable price. The owners, Mirta and Rufus Head, take pride in their services and treat their clients like family. I have had hair cut/​styling, facials, mani/pedi’s, massage, and spray tan at this day spa. Every time I have felt that the staff is well-​trained and tailors the experience to my needs. I have recommended several friends who have also had good experiences here, especially with Mirta’s facial treatments for acne. I would highly recommend Rumir’s and will be returning myself.

This spa is the greatest! We live nearby and first came to Rumirs because of the location. What we found was a first class spa with all the services we need. Yesterday, (Saturday) I hurt my back very badly. I called the owners asking for their help. They arranged a massage later that afternoon with Loretta, THE BEST massage therapist ever! Today I have much more mobility, and am almost pain free. This I owe to Loretta and the owners of Rumirs. Great people! Great spa! Thank you Rufus and Mirta!

I love the spray tan by Rumirs Headlines because it doesn’t rub off, it’s always even, and it’s all natural.
Mirta gives the best facials ever!!! I’ve been going to her since 2007. If you’re looking for a simple European facial or a microdermabrasion… you need to come see Mirta. I also come here for waxing and mani/​pedis. On special occasions, she does my make-​up. What can’t this woman do? :)

It was my first time here and had a half day spa with lunch ($ 250 per person). Located in Downtown Fort Pierce, this is their new location from where they moved. They have been here for about 14 years, owned by a sweet, married couple. They also have a location in Stuart on Colorado Ave. The place and interior is really nice and fancy. The staff and service are really friendly people and love to have a conversation with you. But I have to be honest and say, since I’m a very picky woman with very high standards, I’ve definitely had a better massage and manicure and pedicure elsewhere.
I started off with a back scrub and a massage which was mediocre, to be honest. The masseuse was really inconsistent with her flow of movement through the massage and she really didn’t apply any pressure whatsoever. She made sure to let me know why she wasn’t applying any pressure because I was ‘too skinny’ and she was afraid she would hurt me which I thought was considerate of her but I let her know in return that this was not the first massage I’ve had and I was more than happy to let her know how much pressure was perfect for me but we didn’t come to an agreement. She just wouldn’t apply any pressure on me so all I received was an extremely light rub all over my limbs. I wouldn’t even consider it a massage. The only massage I enjoyed was the facial she gave me. Then another lady, who was also very sweet and Irish, gave me a full facial and cleaned up my blackheads and acne. She was very informative, had consistent pattern and flow with her work. When we spoke with each other, she really knew her stuff and knew what materials to use to solve acne solution. It was the first time I had ever had a facial so I enjoyed it. I had a salad (lunch) during my manicure and pedicure so that was definitely something different from what I used to get! They also offer a selection of beverages; wine, water, and tea. They do not have anything organic though I believe that is something they should switch to considering many people are going more forward to being healthy and cleaner. I was expecting more of a course meal when they said they offered lunch but I suppose if that’s all they could afford then I understand. I was disappointed with the presentation of the nails for my manicure and pedicure. With the pictures provided, the clean up was messy and French tip were uneven. Also, before and after she was finished using all the nail utensils on me, they were used and dirty. It was the close to the end of the session and we were there more than the 4 hours that the package they had offered so I didn’t want to say anything and just leave. Anyway, she used the same nail filer on my boyfriend too. Eek! The hygiene is low here. I’m not okay with that. At least when I go get my nails done from the Vietnamese ladies, they open a new kit in front of me. Also, not trying to sound biased or racists but the lady who did my nails made all sorts of excuses about how my nails were cut too short and that they were tiny so she couldn’t give me a satisfying result. That is the first because I’ve had my nails done before at other places and they didn’t give me a problem about my nails being too short or too tiny. They worked around it and made it happen.
I do feel bad giving this business a low rating because the people were really kind but I definitely have had a better massage and manicure and pedicure. I think I will just have to leave my manicure and pedicure to the Vietnamese ladies because they definitely know how to impress me and the Chinese who do superb massages for me. I think if I were to return, I would ask for the Irish lady to do my facial again. If they made some improvements, I would give them another chance.
