This place is closed. They closed over a year ago so how they have recent reviews is weird to me. Now a new place opened about 3 months ago but it’s called Pizza shack. Touch of Brooklyn sucked. The owner and his girlfriend had terrible people skills. They were rude and I wouldn’t spend a dime there. Now the new owners of pizza shack are the nicest people ever. They make you feel like family

Pizza is OK. We ordered 4 pieces to take home. The cashier gave me the loaded box and I asked if everything was in the box. He said«it’s heavy.» I did not want to insult him by opening the box. Shoulda done it. When we got home, we had only 3 pieces. I am fairly sure it wasn’t done intentionally but even accidentally, it’s not good attention to detail.

The pizza is some of the best around. The garlic knots are very tasty and full of garlic and the antipasto salad is excellent. You have to order at the counter and they bring the food to you, but we’ve never had a problem with the service.

I also don’t see the negative reviews of this place. A group of three of us dined here for lunch, and aside from the akwardness of ordering(you sit down, with menus at the tables but order at the counter) it’s alright. The service was fine after finding out how to order, and the guy that took our order at the counter(Chianti Joe) was very friendly. I had some plain penne pasta with sauce, which came with a salad which was ok, the dressing I had, creamy Italian was lackluster at best. It really had no flavor, which was odd to me. The pasta was good, and the garlic knots were tasty.

Honestly don’t know what all the reviews hating on this place are about. I almost didn’t go here because the reviews made it seem like the staff were horrible. On the contrary, our waiter was delightful! He was charismatic and attentive without being overbearing and clearly had a great report with the regulars. The food was tasty, not the greatest I’ve ever had, but definitely good enough to return. Garlic knots were very scrumptious. I had the whole wheat pasta with Alfredo and my boyfriend had the chicken Parmesan. Both of us left feeling very satisfied. Ignore the other reviews that say the staff are horrible, those people must’ve just caught them on a bad day. I even heard a table tell the waiter«we’ll definitely be back». So there you have it.

Well we’re do I start, the old guy who owns the place was very very rude when it came time to not have tomatoes on my wife’s sub. The reason being is she’s deathly allergic to them but he decided to put them on there anyway once we got the subs talk about watching out for someone’s life. So the future people out there if you have any health concerns about certain foods do yourself a favor live do not go to this place. If you do check the food before you leave. Good luck.

Pizza is great, my daughter loves the spaghetti and tells me the meatballs are better than the ones I make highly offensive, I love the antipasto salsa and the porta de Gina Sub. The owners and manager can come off rough, but the food is delicious

Soup Nazi — Ok, I’ve had enough of this place and their attitudes! We’ve given this place more chances than they deserve. Talk about«The Soup Nazi»! It is funny on TV but sucks to be George in real life. Believe us they will get you. This guy REFUSES to give you any sauce! Even when they gasp at your request and ring it up you still don’t get it! WTF! We also have to listen to they’re «holier than thou» attitude to people. Reading all the negative comments we can relate, any competition would surely succeed.

My wife needed to visit the dentist, so I stopped for lunch. I loved the décor and the pizza, but the reason for the 2 stars is because it shouldn’t take 43 minutes to get 2 slices of cheese pizza.

Food great, service questionable. If your are thin skinned, buck up because they are gruff. The lady owner was rude to my husband 2 days ago about the fact the margherita(sp?)pizza was one size they don’t make a small, just one size. Jeeze!!! sorry for the misunderstanding! The food is fantastic. All of it. I don’t get the rudeness factor. Someone should nominate them for restaurant impossible on the food channel. They could use an etiquette class. I just keep my distance and don’t expect them to be courteous. Been coming here for years because of the food, tips are low because they don’t do a lot for you except deliver the food to the table. Too bad about the sometimes borderline hostile environment seems the younger servers are scared half to death! Poor kids. I’ve never had a meal delivered.

ok never had been before. there is NO wait staff — you get up and order at the counter. take a number your food comes(hopefully). Ordered a bottle of beer and a wine. Owner(the lady) brought over the wine and stated get your own beer its in the cooler! WHAT… food tastes good. owners are rude and grumpy. Its a shame, i would have maybe gone back — but the owners — ruined it. The bartender was very nice!

We’ve been visiting Fort Pierce for 10 years and always enjoyed pizza here. In the last couple experiences however we found the service and the attitude on ordering and picking up a pizza to be quite strange. Whether it’s New York attitude or simply rude management we are concerned. For example ordered to go pizza last week and they said it would be 45 minutes .I showed up 50 mins later and they had not made the pizza yet. I saw them making it and asked if it might be a box on the oven as it should be done already??? and the seasoned guido at the oven acted like I should be quiet and thankful he is doing it at all! So I waited 15 minutes and left with a pie and bad attitude. My son said they were rude on the phone too. So next time in town I will switch back to the other guidos at Lorenzo’s !

We asked a local in town what a good place to get pizza was and he recommended that we go here so we went out of our way to but it was quite disappointing. A large standard cheese pizza is not expensive at around $ 11, but toppings are $ 1.75 or more so the cost of a pizza can add up quickly. In addition to ordering two pizzas we also ordered a large antipasto salad which for $ 10 should have been much bigger and have not included tasteless dressing and pieces of old lettuce. Upon asking for silverware and extra plates the owner seemed annoyed which was irritating considering we just gave him $ 50. The biggest disappointment about this place, though was the pizza. Pizza is my favorite food and I consider myself to be a pizza connoisseur and this is the worst I have ever had in a restaurant. It was nice and crispy and had a decent amount of cheese but there was hardly any sauce on it which made it incredibly dry and unappetizing, even for an extreme pizza lover like me. Upon asking for extra sauce and explaining that the pizza was dry the cashier responded to my request by trying to charge us for sauce that should have been adequately applied to the pizza in the first place. This is the worst pizza and experience I have ever had at a pizzeria and while I do not write reviews often, this hands down wins my worst pizza award and I felt compelled to write a review to at least get some vengeance for the horrible pizza we were served here. If you are in the Vero Beach area and are craving pizza, I highly recommend that you do not even consider eating here and wasting your money unless you want the driest and least appetizing pizza you could possibly taste. I still love pizza, but this place might just ruin it for you if you have the misfortune of eating at this sad excuse for a pizzeria.

I was very impressed with the service and the food. BEST pizza I have EVER had. I gave compliments to the staff and the manager. Our waiter was very attentive and courteous. I highly recommend this establishment! Indescribably delicious… give it a try and you’ll see what I mean! I am a very happy customer and will drive the extra miles for their great pizza!

WORSTPLACE I HAVEEVEREXPERIENCED. Poorly ran business, miss managed, rude owner and can’t believe this place is still in business!!! NEVER got our food– what was told to us that the wait would be 1 hour — still over 2 hours and still did not have our food, called to find out how much longer, told them to cancel the order and the OWNER told me «I had no heart for an independent business owner.» I said because you can’t prepare food for 15 people and give the correct estimated time of delivery — when you advertise delivery ??? On top of everything — not only has this place charged my credit card for no food or services rendered she has done the same for the other families gave their credit cards for payment. NEVERGOTTHEFOODANDWOULDNEVERRECOMMENDTRYINGTHISPLACE!

First, I have to say that I DO understand the negative reviews. I could have easily been one of the writers based on some previous incidences we have had with, mostly the restaurant staff, but occasionally the pizza. My husband and I have been in a love hate relationship with Touch of Brooklyn for about eight years. Our biggest complaint was the abrupt employees. I have actually called to order pick up and have said a little mental prayer that they would not be rude when they answered and piss me off. Therefore, having to hang up and not order my pizza! The rude ones have always been the younger macho Italian«New York» ego guys that were working there. I assume they are family. You would think they would know better. My husband asked one of them many years ago how long they had been in the north location and the guy responded«What? You been living under a rock?» For whatever reason certain employees seem to think being rude is acceptable. It may be tolerated in New York and France, but it only loses a business customers everywhere else. We do love their pizza when it is done right. However, there have been issues with consistency. We would pick up a pizza at either site, north or Sabal Palm and it would be great! Next week the pizza would be so dry. Barely any sauce, and too little cheese. Was like eating plain crust. Again, it seemed to always be when a newbie was cooking the pizza. Whenever I have dealt with the obvious original/elders of the business it has been fabulous! ASWASOURLASTVISITON Sunday July 7th! Ooh-La-La!!! We went to the North store to wrap up a four day birthday celebration for my husband. This location has expanded to include a seating area with a full bar, high top tables, TV’s and a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. They also offer full table service on this side; no need to order at the window and then be seated. I should have asked the gentleman’s name who was serving us because he was wonderful! Friendly, pleasant, efficient and just fun! He told me he made a homemade batch of Sangria which I could not resist. It was very good. We ordered a small antipasta to start and as usual it did not disappoint. Crisp, cold lettuce, fresh rolled meat with cheese, artichoke hearts and my all-time favorite the stuffed pepper with cheese and meat. Their homemade salad dressing is also good. Very light and flavorful. We ordered our favorite pizza which is an 18 inch pepperoni. Always have to enough to take home for leftovers! It was made perfectly! Served piping hot with a perfect amount of ingredients, including sauce. A dry pizza is my pet peeve and it has occurred before at Touch of Brooklyn, but not this pizza. It was perfection! Overall, I have to say it was a really awesome surprise to find the new addition to the restaurant and the full service it provides. The food was excellent, as was the service. My husband was very pleased ending his long birthday weekend at Touch of Brooklyn North! We will be back to enjoy the new atmosphere!

Have ordered from here at least 3 times but it’s mostly for lack of more convenient options. One time we ordered a Margarita pizza and when they delivered it we had to call them back and tell them they forgot the basil!!! What — how can you forget the basil. But it gets better… they said first we could come and get some but they will not bring any out… we said«no, you need to fix this» and so they said they would bring out a baggy of basil but leave it at our condo’s entrance gate — then 20 minutes after that we called to check on it and they said they were not coming out at all. We tried again a year later and the order was right but food was just OK. Then we ordered again, subs and chicken parm, etc. this time around. One of the subs was an Italian sausage with onions and peppers sub(I was on a diet) which was very good and so hearty a portion I could only eat ½ so kept the rest in the container for lunch the next day. The next day I went to eat the other ½ and found it to be about 10% of the sausage and peppers which were in the first ½ so I was completely disappointed. The last time we ordered just a pepperoni pizza and the underside of the pizza was burned black. Because the crust is so thin and the pizza a little soggy(mmmmm) it seemed not to effect the flavor too dramatically but as you know, any amount of a burned flavor is too much. So why 2 stars and not one? Because I will probably get takeout form them again and I couldn’t possibly respect myself if I gave a place 1-star then ordered from them again.

Their pizzas are good, really good. They can sometimes be overwhelmed in the service department, but I’ve always been treated courtesly. Sometimes get delivery from their North Shop and I’ve never had a problem. Past three years, my office has had their holiday party there and it is a big hit.
