Best Thai I’ve ever had and I’m not a big fan of Thai food. I got the Orange Chicken and it had a large pile of chicken that was juicy and stayed crispy even with the sauce on it. Too bad I live 2 hours away or I would be a regular.

Didn’t even know this place existed until I Unilocal searched Thai restaurants and the great reviews. So off we went… the food was great, family owned and very friendly. You could tell they were all regulars dining and lots of take out orders. The place could use updating a lot but I guess the food makes up for it! They serve Chinese & Thai, we only tried the Thai, my favorite. We will definitely go back.

Who expects to find a really good Thai restaurant in a small town in Northwest Georgia, I certainly didn’t. We ate at Thai Garden last night and had a seafood salad a seafood Curry and a chicken curry and they were all excellent. Even the squid was tender and flavorful. Prices are good service was excellent. Definitely worth a stop off I-75. Oh and the prices are great.

Very sweet and friendly family running this place. Great prices, large quantities and good flavor! I ordered chicken pad Thai and asked for a spicy level 4(they offer 1 – 5) young girl taking my order encouraged me to go for a 3 and said 4 might be too spicy. I reluctantly agreed to a 3& glad I did! 3 was a perfect spice and still lit me up! My son ordered orange chicken and it was plenty of sauce, good chicken and right amount of rice. Décor is dated and far from fancy but the food & friendliness makes up. Very clean. Only reason this is 4 stars is because we wanted to order spring rolls and they didn’t have any that day. No biggie though, more food than we could eat on our plates already.

Love this place! We found this little gem recently and keep coming back for more. The spring rolls are delicious and so is the pad Thai. But the best dish so far is the orange chicken. You can taste and see the orange peel, the big chunks of chicken are tender and juicy, and the breading is perfect. The family that owns it is wonderful too. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we do!

Delicious Food. Came from out of town, needed a place to eat, stopped on in because of good reviews on Unilocal and it lived up to its expectations. It’s a simple restaurant but I appreciate that they decorated the interior as well, including the ceiling. The food though is worth it and a good price.

Thai Garden has become one of our favorite restaurants. They have a wide range of food — curries, noodles, fried rice, stir fry, dumplings, etc. — and it’s all delicious and very reasonably priced.(Their lunch specials are pretty much a steal.) I’d describe the food as a fusion of mostly Thai with a bit of Chinese. The service is good; it’s all very casual, but the owner(who is usually the one taking orders) is friendly and enthusiastic. I recommend the Pad Thai, the Massah Mang Curry, the Pepper Steak, and the Wonton Soup, but it’s all great. Be sure to try their Sweet Rice and Custard dessert; we never leave without it!

Fantastic food. This is the first time here but the pad Thai and the orange chicken are phenomenal! Maybe it has just caught me in the right mood so I guess I will just have to keep coming back until I’m sure

Four of us took a road trip to find this Thai restaurant after reading a series of positive reviews on Unilocal. The location was difficult to find, as it was tucked behind a number of fast food restaurants on the back end of the strip mall. Once inside, the interior was sizable, but since we were hoping for an authentic fare, it was difficult to relate with the Chinese décor. The Pad See-iew($ 7.95) came with stir-fried rice noodles, beef, broccoli, carrots, baby corn, mushroom, and fried tofu. The consistencies of the slippery noodles were slightly thinner than expected. They used regular broccoli as a substitute for Chinese broccoli. The composition of the flavors were positive, but more Chinese(chow fun) than Thai. Good beef flavor, but the dish also came out very greasy. It is not something I would recommend. Green Curry Chicken($ 12.95) came with pieces of white meat, peas, carrots, bamboo shoots, bell pepper, basil, and green beans. The green curry was heavy on the coconut milk and came out way too sweet. It also lacked the appropriate Thai spicy profile. Comparatively, this might be the best dish of the night. The combination of vegetables added texture to accompany a nice serving of chicken. Pad Gang Pah($ 7.95) included stir-fried chicken, peas, carrots, bamboo, bell peppers, basil, green beans, baby corns, mushroom, red curry paste. The jungle curry was again sweeter than expected with the wrong Thai spicy profile. Like the other dishes, it had all the qualities of a Chinese stir-fry, not Thai. Khao Pad($ 7.95) came with fried tofu, peas, carrots, onions, broccoli, tomatoes, and cilantro. The fried rice was dense and greasy, and could be fried longer to bring about an airy fluffly quality. By now, we find the ingredients to be repetitive across these dishes, except for the sauces and curries to differentiate these items by name and price. In all, this was a poor Chinese interpretation of the cuisine. The owners also could not understand my request for prik nam pla, a staple that should be readily available in any Thai restaurants. They were noticeably friendlier to my non-Asian dining companions, which further added to the negative experience. Those coming for an authentic fare will be disappointed. I would not be coming back.

Great little hidden gem. Dishes are made to order so don’t be impatient. You can choose your spicy level 1 – 5, our favs are chicken pad Thai; pineapple curry, and the pad wuhn sen(#45). You may(like my honey has experienced) be laughed at if you order«only» a level 4 and then shed tears as your mouth burns. But seriously one of the sweetest families runs the place and we highly recommend if you are in the area to place a call in order or stop in to dine.

Tried this for the first time last night. It’s obviously family owned and run, so they take pride in what they do. The seafood pad nam prik pao talay(18) was nicely done and very flavorful. The calamari was a little rubbery, but not distractingly so. The beef stir fry pad gang pah(33) was full of thin tender beef and lots of vegetables. I ordered everything as mild spice because we were all planning to share, but this would be amazing with good heat. The noodle dish pad wuhn sen(45) with chicken was the best of the bunch. Very flavorful and would be great with any heat level. This is definitely worth a try.

The staff are incredibly friendly and it is family owned and operated so that’s a nice touch. The food is always delicious and they give you plenty of it. Not the best for dining in but a great takeout option.

If the booths are all taken, you get to share a table with your fellow rednecks while eating mediocre Thai food. The ceiling looks like shit. I’m not sure why anyone would be even slightly amused by it. Must be on drugs like everyone else in this town.

Thank you Unilocal for turning us on to this place! It was excellent! We were greeted by a very friendly woman who I’m most certain is the owner. She greeted everyone who entered like they were her best friend. I sure like to spend my money with an owner who appreciates her customers. I’ve only eaten at a Thai restaurant probably ten times or so but this was certainly the most reasonably priced and probably one of the best I’ve had. I got the green basil curry shrimp and loved it. The spice level that you can request is 1 – 5 with 5 being the hottest. I got 4 and figured it was probably perfect for me. A very nice spice without being hard to eat. I might go for five next time. My wife had the tofu Pad Thai and loved it as well. They had a nice sized vegetarian menu. Well, I just wish it wasn’t so far from our house. I’d love to get take out from here often so that I could try out many of the dishes. The only drawback was that I noted the price of the dish that I ordered was $ 8.95(dinner portion with shrimp), but the bill came back with it saying $ 9.50. As I was paying at the cash register, I checked the menu again and did see $ 8.95. I didn’t say anything about it though. I’m sure this wasn’t intentional.

I would have never guessed I would eat the best Asian food I’ve ever had in small North Georgia town. I decided to check this place out because of the good reviews here and I was not disappointed. First off I should mention Google Maps did not actually take me to this location. It took me further down the road near a Hardee’s. Thai Garden is actually located in the Office Depot shopping center. I can’t speak for any other navigation app. When I got there the place was empty, but I came at that awkward late lunch/early dinner time so I expected as much. I was immediately greeted by the hostess/server and we were seated. The only negatives about this place is the location and the décor. Oh my god. Look at the ceiling. Seriously, look at it. The food was amazing! I ordered the vegetarian pad Thai spicy level 3. It had rice noodles, tofu, mushrooms, carrots, spring onions, etc. Every bite you’d get a different veggie, and the spice level was perfect for me. The portion size was huge and I had to force myself to get through half of it. At around $ 7 it was completely worth the money. I also ordered spring rolls which were pretty much what you’d expect, but the ingredients were fresh and obviously not frozen. The menu was very extensive with plenty of options to choose from. Noodle plates, stir fry, with meat or without, with broth or without, multiple spicy levels to choose from. I’m shocked that such amazing Asian food can be found in such an out of the way place. If you’re in the area, you must eat here!

Super cheap. Very authentic — not Americanized. Quick service, which is great while traveling. Great portions — most noodle dishes are enough for 2. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area.
