This is a nice place for soul food. I had the blacken fish with potatoes salad and greens. The salad was a weeee bit watery but very full of flavor. Greens were well prepared including smoked ham hocks.(I found a bit of bone :-)) Fish good spicy enough. People and service were outstanding. As i was leaving a party of 12 were being seated. So a popular place for sure.

Great find on MLK! Wonderful little spot serving up some genuinely delicious soul food. Try the oxtails, the fried chicken, the meatloaf — heck, try everything. One important note — they close at 7 p.m., although on our visit we arrived at 7:20 and they happily served us. In fact, they entire staff was unfailingly nice during the whole visit. Can’t wait to try it for breakfast and lunch.
