Home depot subcontracts with US installation group: This is an email I sent to US installation company… There are several things you need to be aware of. Scheduled to have wood floor put in den Monday October 12.(and just bought bamboo floor for the living room from Home Depot last weekend weekend). US installation said they would arrive between 8&11 a – got a call 930 saying the guys had another job before me it would now be between 12 and 3 pm. Got a call 1:30 pm saying they don’t have anyone to do my floor cause ‘it’s a glue down’ till Thursday. I said this is unacceptable and I want to talk to your manager – she said we don’t have one –we only have a vice president and he’s really hard to get a hold of and started laughing-I said«are you laughing at me? She said«no» and was laughing even harder. I told her exactly which orifice she could shove both of my floor jobs up. I would never recommend your company or home depot in Bonita springs Florida –This female scheduler was rude inappropriate and unprofessional. I will never have your company do any type of work in my home or for anyone I know. My money spends anywhere and I’ll spend it with a reputable company. Your employee just cost you a lot of money. I am and will continue to post daily my experience with your company — all over the internet. I called the general managers cell phone 996578086 and left a message that day but never heard anything. I tried to resolve this with your company so now I feel the need to warn everyone about what poor business practices your company has. Consumers need to be aware of your unprofessional and disrespectful employees. You want a 10 –your company is less than a 0.

Bought a washer and dryer from here, got delivered at 7:30 am Friday June 26th. No problems with the washer, however the dryer did not work, had a bad starter switch. Called Home Depot, we were promised a replacement within 72 hours. Now they say I won’t get a dryer until next Friday. Unacceptable!!! We bought another dryer thru H.H. Gregg, called Home Depot to have them come get it the non working dryer, they want to charge us a 15% restocking fee. Don’t think so!!! We called their 1 – 800 number, couldn’t talk to an actual person. Don’t ever buy appliances or any high ticket item from home Depot. You will get screwed! Their management sucks and will not communicate with you. You are better off going to independent appliance dealers and paying a little extra for customer service. Home depot should stick to selling paint and nails!!!

Bought a refrigerator for office there last August. Had a few problems with it and order warranty work. This time I called the manager at this location, George and explained to him that the company MC Appliance Company and Appliance Service Company locally was not very helpful and thought he might want to know. I had no expectation other than to inform. He asked me to send him info then asked me to come get a new one some 9 months later. He made me a raving fan. I appreciated his helpful concern. Not only did he give us another one but apparently it was on sale and gave me a $ 60 gift card to boot. Thank you goes out to his gracious effort.

The home depot experience that my family got here was horrible. We were intrested in buying a pergola, we had price shoped all the local stores(lowes, B.J.s) and had decided that homedepot prices were the best. They were having a 20% discount on all patio things. There was a bright yellow sign taped to the price of the pergola, when asked what was included in the deal the home depot employee said that the pergola was 20% off. At the check out we found out it was not part of the deal. We asked the check out associate she called the manger whos name seemed to be Z(simply the letter). Who never even came to speak to us! We bought our pergola and left when we contacted the costumer service representative she was rude and seemed not to care at all about our experience. All in all the manger was rude, the sign was extremely miss leading, the costumer sevice representative was rude and did not care about our experience. We will not be returning to this home depot and suggest you don’t. If I could I would give this company negative stars.

I frequent here to stock up my supply of light bulbs. Friendly staff, able to get through the store with ease and able to find my items always in stock. The checkout process was simple and easy. No complaints.

I loved this place! Had everything I needed to work on the house, and to kill buggies trying to set up shop outside my foyer. The associates were everywhere assisting patrons. Any questions I had were quickly addressed and solved.

Needed a dishwasher to replace one that just felt like its’ life here on earth was not worth living anymore. So it made some terrible growling sounds and put out some burning rubber smells and went to wherever the soul of a machine goes. I wanted another GE and after doing some internet work headed to Home Depot. I was told they could deliver it in two days. It turned out that the one I wanted was out of stock so they upgraded me to the next dishwasher for the same price. Did not even put up a struggle. Great customer service! Sure enough two days later they came and installed the new dishwasher in a very timely manner. Less than 30 minutes. Gave us a four hour window when they called the night before and the day of delivery they called about 30 minutes to inform us they were on their way. They were very polite and checked that the dishwasher was working and there were no leaks. The body of the dead dishwasher was then hauled away. This was included in the price. I was very satisfied with the service at the store and at my home. I am hoping this new dishwasher with all the new updated technology will have a great life in its new home and be a productive member of the family.

Well, to be frank, this is just like all then other Home Depots I’ve been in. It’s not quite as busy perhaps and thus a bit easier to navigate. They seem to be still quite successfully driving all the little hardware stores out of business. It’s a shame, really…
