I was visiting from out of town for a few days and wanted to find a casual salon that specialized in long hair. So glad I came here. My stylist Anna was welcoming and talented. She understood the tone of blonde I was after for my highlights and did a great job adding long layers around my face. The interior space is roomy and well designed. It was a comfortable personalized experience. On top of that they gave me $ 20 off as a new client, a small gift bag with coupons, a RK Salon drink cozy, and a glass of wine. Love this place!

Myself and this Company’s owner continue to disagree as you can tell from their response to my review., Read the owners own words, she claims you can get what her website and pictures show but then admitted I didn’t get those results. I have extremely healthy hair I don’t even blow-dry it, If they cant get mine right imagine If you do process your hair. We will allow the Civil Court System to determine who is right on 8−12−15. my review: I paid for hair services on 12−15−14, I called RK Salon to notify them that the treatment and service did not work after the required waiting period of 4 days to not wash my hair to retain the product. I was advised to make an appt for a consultation with my hair technician, I went to consultation where she verified it didn’t work and said that ‚” it was probably due to not enough product being used,” which made since as I had the same treatment twice at another Hair salon within the last 3 years with wonderful results. I was advised to schedule an appt to have it redone by my consultant. Upon calling to schedule the appointment they were blocking out a smaller time frame and hours different from the treatment I requested and had paid for, when I asked what the difference in time was I was advised it was for the lesser costing and lesser lasting treatment. I advised I wanted what I paid for and requested for my technician to call me. Upon receiving her call she advised this is what she was advised to do, I stated this was not what I requested and already paid for and I asked for a manager to return my call. I received a call from Pam on 1−22−15, where she stated she was not willing to do the treatment I paid for and only willing to do the lesser lasting and lesser costing treatment, I asked If she would refund the portion I would have overpaid for and she said no. I advised her verbally I was not accepting this as I wanted what I asked for and already paid for. I also followed up our conversation with a certified letter sent on 1−28−15 and received by RK Salon on 1−30−15. They have no made contact with me to make this right. I have followed up with complaints to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services along with the BBB due to this establishments continued efforts to not make this unfortunate situation right. Ms. Shaw was unhappy with the results of a keratin hair treatment applied by a qualified/licensed Studio RK stylist. To accommodate Ms. Shaw’s displeasure with her results, Studio RK scheduled a mutually-agreeable two-hour appointment to apply an alternative treatment designed to maintain the integrity of her hair while also reactivating the original procedure, at NO additional cost to Ms. Shaw. Ms. Shaw then failed to call or show up at the first appointment. Despite our policies, we then rescheduled another two hour time for her to come in and have the additional procedure applied. At that time, Ms. Shaw then again failed to show without calling or otherwise notifying Studio RK in advance. At that point, Studio RK made its best efforts to accommodate Ms. Shaw and provide her with the best customer service possible. However, sometimes a customer cannot be pleased no matter what you attempt to do. We have addressed Ms. Shaw’s complaint with the Florida Department of Consumer Services who ultimately found that Studio RK provided a «satisfactory effort. .. to resolve this complaint» andsubsequently closed the file. While this is an unfortunate situation, we would note that this is a slight aberration and we would direct your attention to the high quality reviews and photographs on this website which highlight our professional quality and customer service. I went for cut and color and the stylist Lydia was very friendly and helpful. The front service Abbey in particular was rude. Be sure to go prim and proper. Snobby welcome if not. Then at the end she tried to deny the $ 20 first time visit discount. Be careful when dealing with Abby. Not a pro

My one and only experience was as part of a bridal party in a destination wedding and I can’t say enough good things about it. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly and our hair/make-up turned out amazing. Only quirky thing that I found was that the bride had to pre-pay for all of our services before we arrived. Maybe it’s because they deal with a lot of weddings that might cancel, but it was kind of awkward for the bride to have to deal with on top of everything else. Payment preferences aside, I highly recommend them!

Have been going here over 2 yrs. Never have to wait long, they don’t juggle me in between other clients(usually) and the prices are reasonable. I especially like that the people at the front desk are friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that everything is cramped since they consolidated into one space, but if it kept them in business, that’s okay! Very well run business. They should be around for a long time and when I find a salon I like, want it to be dependable. I have been there so many times and observed the stylists and the way business is done, I don’t think anyone stays that isn’t good. The stylist you use would be more an individual personality choice rather than competence.
