I’ve been there 3 times and have been satisfied each time. Friendly service, great BBQ, a good bar, lots of parking at am easy to find spot. The open air atmosphere is wonderful in this sub-tropical town. Lots of funky décor to look at too. But the food and drink are the bottom line and they are great. Pork rips drop off the bone; chicken is as tender as can be. Portions are generous. My only reservation is the noise from singers, etc. If you are looking for QUIET fun and food this might not be your first choice. The crowd is mixed, but I’ve found everyone gets along.

This place has many upsides, and only a couple downsides. First off, it’s huge, so they have everything: a stage with a live band, a large bar, a tropical garden, a dance floor, everything. They make their own BBQ all day every day, and it is fantastic. The drinks are good and reasonably priced, and the people who work there are nice and laid back. Downsides: everything is open, so there tend to be a lot of flies that show up as soon as your food does. Also, sometimes it draws an unpleasant crowd, though that element seems to stay mostly by the attached liquor store. I personally wouldn’t go on a Friday night, but on a Sunday afternoon it’s pretty great.

This place is fun! I had a blast there this past sunday. The place was packed and plenty of cute white boys around. I cant believe more people don’t go here.
