I really love the way my hair came out. When got there I had a giant Afro of dead brittle hair and Nakisha Camacho brought my hair back to life. I put my hairpin her hands and told her I trusted her with what ever she though would look good and I was not disappointed. Only thing I would say is they should invest in red wine

Had spotty orange hair after leaving the salon, owner called me the next day to ask how i liked my hair. I told him about the problem and got me an immediately made me an appointment to fix the problem. ended up liking my hair a lot after that. very good customer service

Nakisha was great — even though she is new to the salon, she did an amazing job on my pedi, was professional and very friendly. We had a great chat and I enjoyed spending time with her. Thank you and I’ll be back!

Red Salon is very pricey, but my hair always looks great. The main complaint I have is the extremely hard sell on products at every appointment. It seems like each month they are pushing something different and it is very uncomfortable. I want to be able to enjoy the experience but this emphasis on upselling products is just about enough to make me stop going to Red. I don’t mind paying the premium they charge for the amazing stylists but I hope the management reads this and reconsiders this policy before I have to go elsewhere.

First impressions speak volumes to me and this salon made me feel quite awkward all around.
Upon making my very first appointment I was asked how much I wanted to pay for my hair cut. Never in my life have I been asked this. I mean, I want my hair to be treated with the best care. How am I supposed to know how much that’s going to cost me? I told the woman I am used to paying $ 60 for a hair cut. She said, oh okay! Then proceeded on… leaving me puzzled as to what I even signed up for.
I walked in still with high hopes since I’ve read raving reviews online about Red Salon. Not a single person greeted me, nor was anyone at the front desk. I sat in the waiting area quite confused and looked around for anyone to notice me. After a few minutes I was finally approached by an apologetic desk clerk who obviously did not know I was even there.
I arrived ten minutes prior to my appointment time. As those ten minutes went by, the desk clerk informed me my stylist was running a bit behind. No biggie, it happens. Ten more minutes go by… No update. Another ten minutes… still twiddling my thumbs. After waiting 25 minutes past my scheduled time I got a bit fed up. I have never waited so long to get my hair done.
I immediately asked to reschedule to which the clerk was very understanding and accommodating. She approached my stylist, who was still working on someone, then told me it would be ANOTHER ten minutes.
Overall, I am sad to say I will not be returning to this salon.

I’ve been going here for about a year now and I’m really glad I made the switch. This is a professional salon without being outrageously priced. My stylist Luigy C. is always on point with what I want my hair to be and has really help me change my image.

Wonderful experience. We both had the spa pedicure and Maria did an excellent job and made it so enjoyable.
My Sister-​in-​law was visiting and wanted to treat me and we were so happy with the results. Will definitely go back Maria made me a believer.

Recently got my haircut by Jaimie B and she was awesome! I was reluctant to cut my long hair short especially going to a new stylist but I am so glad I put my trust in her. She did a wonderful job and I am in love with my new style. She was very friendly and she gave me lots of styling tips and lessons. She also gave a curling lesson to another customer that was admiring her curls, which I felt was above and beyond. I highly recommend her.

Thank you, Maria and everyone at the salon who helped «K», a teenager who lives at The Salvation Army shelter, to have a picture perfect homecoming! Maria spent an inordinate amount of time on «K“‘s hair — conditioning, washing, drying and styling an updo. She did toe nails, finger nails and fabulous makeup. Thank you all for the over-​the-​top treatment and outcome. «K» could not stop smiling as she peered at herself in the mirror. You are all the best! Thank you!

Abbey is amazing. She makes me look like a movie star. I always get complements when I am out. And she does my hair exactly how I want it and shows me how to achieve the look at home. She is very percise, professional, and seriously accurate. But at the same time she is fun, exciting, and makes me laugh! I just love her!

I had my hair and makeup done here for my wedding. Was super bummed out by the whole experience. My hairstylist was difficult and didn’t do what I asked for even after 2 hair trials. (I wasn’t in love with the style, but it looked good.) My biggest issue was the makeup. Some annoying little emo chick who only complained about herself did my makeup and my mothers and sisters. We did the airbrush makeup. My moms looked good, when my sister cried it ran all over her face and my face looked like a ghostly white. Thank God I brought my own make up with me back at the ceremony. I corrected everyone and actually gave them some color. About 45 min to walking down the aisle my sister had to run to Walgreens because my eye lashes where coming off. For the amount of money that we paid, I would’ve expected better service and better quality. If you buy the bridal package its a huge rip off too! We were told we were getting champagne and strawberries, we got none. And when I went to get my nails taken off after the wedding the girl didn’t take them off all of the way and they started to break and tear. I had to have them grind off at another salon. I would NEVER in a million years recommend this place to anyone for any reason.

Katy did an amazing job on my hair! I came in with tri — colored hair with grown out layers, and left with a beautiful brown — red all over color with perfect layers! I don’t even have to use a flat iron now! Just blow dry and go! :) totally worth the price!

KATY CLARK is your go-​to girl for everything from highlights, color placement, ombré, and extensions. I moved to Florida from DC and found this place randomly. I was so lucky to have met Katy on my first visit. She took me from dark brown to blonde, back to brown, and now to ombré with extensions in between visits. I constantly get compliments on my hair and the best part is that she has maintained the integrity of my hair for the past year even through all of the coloring!

After moving to Florida I was scared to let someone touch my hair because my stylist was one of a kind! So I looked up reviews on Red Salon and Spa. The area was nice and they has pretty good reviews.
I went in for highlights and I myself am a cosmetologist so needless to say, I am the worst client to have. My highlights came out okay for the most part except they weren’t on the scalp so it looked like I had regrowth right away. The owner who was very pleasant called me to ask how my hair came out and I let him know my concerns. He got me back in right away to fix the problem. The second girl who tried to fix my highlights made them even worse and noticeable. It’s a month later and my hair looks really grown out.
I thought I would give it another chance and went for a haircut. The girl was running late which is fine I understand. Well turns out she was cutting my hair while she let someone else’s hair process. In the middle of my haircut which seemed EXTREMELY rushed, the front desk girl tells her that her next appointment is there and she started freaking out trying to find someone to wash out the other girls highlights. I did not feel like she took the time on my hair cut which came out okay I guess. It’s time for me to find a new salon which is a bummer because it’s not far from my work and I really liked the vibe.

I got a hair cut there recently & was very unhappy, the hair on the back of my head is ¹⁄₈ of an inch long, want to go around wearing a hat all the time, thank God my hair grows quickly. WILL NEVER go back there even if it were free~!

First time at Reds and I really liked it. JT is a great stylist and he gets hair. I have super fine hair and he showed me how to style it. I will definitely go back.

Got bangs and a hair cut here… Was not impressed with how it turned out. Had to grow out random pieces that were cut in strange places on my head…

I am a new snowbird to Florida this year, and was nervous about finding a hair stylist for the 3 months here. I was told to google Unilocal for salons with reviews. I found Red Salon, and decided to try it! My hair stylist for the last 3 months, Jess F., was and is the best! My last cut she convinced me to do a few low lights, I am blonde, and do my own color. I absolutely loved it!!! She is my new stylist whenever I am in Ft. Myers!!! Love and will miss her terrible!!! Marilyn, from Salem, Mass

JT is fantatic! Everyone else who has cut my hair in Fort Myers has made it too short and totally un-​feminine. JT really softened my look and he also did a super job with the color. I highly recommend him and the salon. I am so glad I found it!!!

I’ve gone to Red’s on and off for over a decade. One reason I’ve kept going back is that Red’s stylists are highly educated and are passionate about their work. If I want a cutting edge cut or color, they would be the first place I’d go to or recommend someone go. This isn’t SuperCuts so you might be shelling out a little more cash, but it’s worth every penny. I don’t honestly think Red’s is more expensive than any other high end salon and I’ve been happy with my hair each and every time I’ve gone to Red’s. And as far as the noise factor, it’s a busy salon, but I’ve always felt relaxed there. Red’s also has a location in Cape Coral. They have great e-​mail deals as well but don’t bombard your inbox with spammy e-​blasts daily, which I appreciate.
Bottom line is that I’ve lived in Fort Myers my entire life and when someone asks me where to get their hair or nails done, I send them here.
