Nino’s Thick & Thin Pizza

Part of me is loathe to add another 5-​star rating to this wonderful place — primarily out of greed and wanting to keep the crowds (especially during «season») at bay! — but this truly is a fantastic place! We’ve been going for several years and have never been disappointed.
The pizza, as noted elsewhere is wonderful … and the garlic knots delicious (if there are extras, I bring them home and use them in my meatballs!). But the two dishes we love are the Chicken Siciliana and the Ziti Luciana.
The menu does not say it, but the Chicken Siciliana is actually a combination of both chicken and eggplant — two large pieces of each! They are served one on top of the other «parmigiana-​style.» The side of pasta that comes with it is almost a meal in itself, and I’ve never been able to finish this dish, always having plenty to take home.
The Ziti Luciana is a wonderful baked dish with pieces of sausage, eggplant, and melted mozzarella throughout. It, too, is a hefty portion and will likely yield leftovers.

Excellent personalized service. The wait for a table was well worth it. Food came quickly. Enjoyed salads, mozzarella sticks, and the marghetia pizza. Highly recommend but expect a bit of a wait as everyone is willing to wait for this good food. Looks a bit like a hole in the wall, don’t let this stop you!

Quintessential mom and pop local restaurant. Large portions of tasty food at a reasonable price. Consider sharing an entrée. My wife and I shared a spaghetti and meat sauce dish, it was very good. The pastafazool, sp? Soup was delicious. The garlic bread knots are addictive. We will definitely go back to try the pizza. Tried pizza 2 days later, very disappointing. Thin crust isn’t, sausage is sliced and over spiced. Reduced my rating to 3 stars overall. Go for the food, forget the pizza.

Delicious. You have to wait but worth it. Portions are huge so plan on lunch tomorrow. Chicken Picatta ot Tortellini Dolofino. A beautiful server named Anita and you will be very pleased.

Best pizza in southwest Florida by far.
Everything I’ve tried here is fantastic.
The chicken parm sub, the meatball pizza, and the garlic knots are my favorites.
If you’re from the northeast and miss the pizza there this is your best option. Well worth the drive from Naples.

Prompt service to go. Ordered the baked Italian sub which algae really good bread and meats but even though I ordered it «all the way» there want much on it. It lacked sub dressing or flavor of any kind. My co-​workers had pizza and Stromboli which looked and smelled good. I’ll have to go back again for another shot. But with so many Italian joints around, it didn’t surprise me that there was only one table dining during lunch rush on a Saturday. Much better Italian sub across the street at Publix for the money.

Second time here and it was just as good as first time. Our meals were ordered to go, but all four meals were very good and completed on time for pick up.

Nino‘s ist so ein Lokal wo ich mich sofort Wohlgefühlt habe. Schon beim hereinkommen roch es Super nach Italien Coocking !! Das ist Unnachahmlich. Zum Essen Bestellte ich mir die Tropical Pizza und dazu einen Caesar Salat. Es war wie erwartet große Klasse. Auch der Service hier ist besonders toll. Alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, was will man mehr. Das hätte ich beim Vorbeifahren nicht gedacht, gut das wir hier her gekommen sind.

I have received personal recommendations for this restaurant and decided to try it for lunch. My husband had the sausage and peppers sandwich and I had the eggplant parm. with angel hair pasta. The portions were huge and we ended up taking half of it home to enjoy later. Very, very good food for a reasonable price.

Love Ninos! This place has outstanding food and portions that certainly gave the WOW factor. Do yourself a favor and grab some of your closest friends and have 3 courses of the best apps, entrees and desserts; share everything as the portions are family style for the most part.

I had written before that they were an ok pizzeria. So I ordered again. Unbelievably horrible. The sauce tasted bland, the cheese was slopped on as if someone vomited on it. The cheese slipped off the dough like damn butter. Unacceptable. Will not order again. 1 star.

6 of us, 4 had never been there b4. 5 of us had various seafood/​pasta dishes. Humongous portions. A bit pricy, but well worth it. When I saw mine I thought «guess what I’m having for dinner tomorrow night. Wrong… So tasty that I couldn’t stop eating it. No leftovers! Shucks.
All 5 seafood lovers raved about the quality. The one person out had the veal parm. Said it was «real veal» & probably the best she’d ever had.
Although the server admittedly said she was new, the service was ‘spot on.‘
Unfortunately, 4 of our party are from Port Charlotte, Fl. A 1 hr drive & doubt we’ll be back in the So. Ft. Myers area any time soon.

Once again Unilocal never fails me. I came to Bonita Springs for Labor day weekend and came down with a terrible cold good thing this was a relaxing vacation not an action packed one! But on Sunday night we wanted to eat something delicious but we wanted to stay in our room! After searching on Unilocal and I picked this place and I was not disappointed at all!
Ordering was a breeze the young lady that helped me was really friendly and helped us by giving us pointers. We ordered the stuffed shells and the penne a la vodka. Both of the sauces were delicious! The vodka sauce was creamy and it had actual mushrooms and onions and peas. I loved it! I wish i would have snapped a picture because the portions were huge. We only ordered two dishes but it was plenty for all of us. Each dish brought your choice of a soup or salad and garlic knots. We ordered one of each. Everything was delicious!
The only reason that I gave this place a 4 instead of a 5 is because we found it under the section the said delivery and when we said delivery they actually don’t deliver to the resorts but it was fine take out was ready when we got there. Also they forgot to add silverware in our take out order, but since we were at the resort silverware was easily accesible to us.

After checking my previous reviews I realized that I had not yet reviewed Nino’s, one of my favorite local restaurants. We returned the other night and, realized that it was certainly not «in season». During season you can not just walk in and get a table here; be prepared to wait. Off-​season-​no problem.
We break for here who had not been to Ninos before and they are now fans as we are. The food here is consistently good. I especially like the huge servings of chicken parm. I am told that the veal Parmesan is equally as good. It is interesting that you can get some of the best root beer I have it anywhere here. My wife had a scrumptious seafood platter and one of our guests had another chicken dish that was equally raved about.
Don’t like the location, in a strip shopping center, stop you from visiting. Be prepared to take a doggy bag home.

Can’t ever go wrong with Ninos! Always good food, every time. Warm cozy relaxing atmosphere! After a stressful morning, lunch here calmed me down & I didn’t even have a drink! Haha

I am not really sure what all the fuss is about. I went here for lunch the other day and I have to say, well… there isn’t much to talk about. Nino’s is really just your generic Italian-​American place. The food was just ok, the garlic knots really really greasy and oily. I got a meatball sub, and it tasted like every other generic meatball sub I have ever had. The food the others I was with ordered all pretty much looked the same, fried, greasy, and just unappitizing. I certainly would not go back here though.

We have been going to Ninos for the past 15 years, without a doubt this is the BEST Italian restaurant In all of Florida and I have been to many of them all over the state. I would put them I. The top three from Chicago also. prices are very reasonable. Wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, also can’t say enough about Sabrina she is the best!

Ordered Sicilian style delux 5 toppings pizza. Sauce didn’t have much flavor n not much topping, very scarce. He thought it was great. Friendly service.

I have nothing negative to say. This was my first time at this restaurant, i will return. Service and dinners we had were very good.

The food is fresh and is authentic. We’ve been going there the past 10 or 15 years. Solid. This is not a franchise.
The pizza is real. The Stromboli rocks. The special dishes taste as if made at home.

Good food — terrible service. We had a reservation. When we arrived they said it would be about 5 minutes. We were seated 25 minutes later while other people just walked in without a reservation and were seated. Once seated, the waitress did not appear to take drink or dinner orders for another half hour and it took another half hour to get our pizza. A little over 2 hours later, we left. We had brought a birthday cake to serve to the kids (Nino’s said we could bring it in). The two year old and five year old were too tired by that time and missed the cake when we went home. Terrible experience. We will not return.
In addition, there was not enough room between tables and everyone kept bumping into me and my chair even though I had my chair pulled completely to the table (I’m a really small person).
