New favorite dish… cold noodles in sesame sauce. It’s my wife’s new top choice, and it’s only $ 4.00. I’ve always enjoyed the shrimp and snow pea pods in black bean sauce. The shrimp are huge and juicy. I ordered it again the other day and asked for some broccoli with the pea pods. No problem making modifications to any regular menu item. They are always cordial and willing to alter a dish to suit your desires and taste buds. By the way it was great!

Taste of the Generals chicken is good but not right. Used to have red Chilis in it and be hot and spicy. Not anymore. Looking for a new place for take out. Sorry to go elsewhere but when I asked for the spicy sauce that they had been providing since they changed the recipe I was given what looks and tastes like hoisin sauce

Hit or miss, depending on what you order. For us, the«hits» included: steamed dumplings, fried shrimp, egg roll, won ton soup. The«misses»: Mapo tofu, house special chow mein, chicken fried rice. This is mainly a carryout place, but there are a few tables to dine in. It’s a bit of a dive, but the lady at the register is pleasant. Our order took about ten minutes to prepare. Maybe the chef was having a rough night? Maybe we ordered the wrong items? Like I said, the food was«hit or miss». The chicken fried rice was on the bland side, but nothing a bit of soy sauce couldn’t help flavorwise. The steamed dumplings were large, tasty, and plentiful. The wonton soup also featured large dumplings and a tasty broth. The Mapo tofu was only slightly spicy, despite the chili pepper designation on the menu, indicating«spicy». They used a firm tofu, whereas I prefer a silken tofu. But that’s just my preference. The fried shrimp were good. The medium shrimp are butterfly fileted, breaded, and… well, fried. The shrimp were fresh, the breading light, and not the least bit greasy. The House Special Chow Mein was disappoonting. The texture of the vegetables seemed«off»…chopped too finely. The sauce was mediocre. The menu is large, filled with typical Americanized-Chinese fare. I’m willing to give this place another try, but will avoid the dishes I felt missed the mark.

Aweful They don’t speak English Assured me bourbon chicken was not fried when in fact it was Same with egg roll she couldn’t tell me if rice or wheat flour and kept saying corn starch only Retarded ignorant and risky dangerous I do not recommend as if she doesn’t know this how can you be sure no msg.

Jackie’s is always so accommodating to personal requests and we have always been extremely satisfied with our food. Our go-to order includes: bourbon chicken, Singapore noodles(my FAV!), coconut chicken/shrimp, and a side of their yummy sugar doughnuts! Nice folks, great food, and good portions!!!

After reading the Unilocal reviews on Fort Myers area Chinese restaurants, Jackie’s turned out to be a great choice. Beef fried rice was excellent with much more beef than the restaurants I go to back in Chicago. Planning on making frequent visits to Jackie’s when I am back in town.

Just moved to ft Myers and read the reviews on Unilocal and thought I would give it a try. WORST Chinese food I have ever had. Tasteless, nasty, chicken did not taste like chicken. Sauce was thick and chunky. I have had orange chicken for pretty much everywhere in Florida and this is by far the worst. Truly tasted like cat food. Restaurant needs to have a Heath inspection!

Best place in town for Chinese takeout! It is quick and reliable. We have tried lots of the dishes here and none have disappointed us!

After reading the reviews we gave Jackie’s a go yesterday. I sit here trying to write something still stunned by how truly awful everything was. The orange chicken had little strips of peel in a nasty sweet salty sauce. Chicken was deep fried, the taste unidentifiable. Perhaps the oil was way past it’s dispose date. No flavor at all in any of our choices. Wontons were filled with calcified something… our dog sniffed and walked away. The egg rolls were hideous. My husband said it was hands down the worst chinese meal he has ever had. I concur.

Food here was delicious, the steam dumplings were nice and fresh, orange chicken was made with orange slices and the rice was very tasteful will go back for another round

Food was legit Chinese food. Orange chicken was perfect fried chicken rice was delicious. It does say take out in the title so don’t expect to eat there and be happy with the atmosphere and seating. It’s straight up ugly and not really a place to dine in unless it for a quick meal. Other than that you can te the food was made with fresh ingredients and never frozen. Ragoons were great… dumplings we’re finger licking good… Just great place highly recommend for take out or delivery if they deliver!!!

Jackie’s was my go-to Chinese food restaurant while living in Ft. Myers for several years. Delivery was always so fast, and the food was always great tasting at a reasonable price. Definitely recommended.

Love. Love. Love this place. Great food. Quick service and reasonably priced. I use to go to a place similar to this when I lived back home and I was thrilled to find this diamond in the rough! Definitely recommend it.

Real deal Chinese takeout from the sparse and rundown décor, to the blazing woks behind the cashier. They did a great job with one of my favorites, Mongolian Beef. Beef and onion well proportioned not to mention a generous serving. Takeout only here and it’s better to call ahead.

After seeing reviews, I had high hopes that the food would be amazing but I was rather disappointed. The prices are much higher than other traditional Chinese take-out places are(given the portions are larger) but quality was also lacking. The food was mediocre at best. My husband ordered General Tso and I ordered Bourbon Chicken and they were seemingly the same in both appearance and taste. The steamed dumplings were lacking filling as were the crab ragoons. Being that I am new to this area, maybe it is on par without other take-out restaurants but honestly I wasn’t impressed and I doubt I will be returning.

My first time there and I could not believe how dirty the place is. Ordered a combo dinner, it was OK but nothing to rave about. Wallpaper was hanging off the walls and chairs were held together with tape.

This little gem is across the street from Florida SouthWestern College. I wish I’d had a place like this across the street from me when I was in college! My wife and I ordered takeout from here a few nights ago for a quick, easy dinner. I walked in around 7pm, ordered my food, and walked out 10 minutes later. Jackie’s was busy while I was there. Mongolian Beef is my go-to item when ordering Chinese takeout. I got chicken and vegetables for my wife. My wife wanted the veggies without the broccoli, and they accommodated my special order. My Mongolian beef was top notch, and the accompanying egg roll was fried to perfection. I wish my local Chinese takeout in Atlanta had Mongolian Beef and egg rolls that tasted as good. My wife also enjoyed her dinner — we both won clean plate awards. Jackie’s is nothing fancy but definitely satisfies that craving for delicious, hot, quick Chinese food.

Prices go up at dinner time. Same portions. For carry out Chinese food this place has been consistently above average.

My mom and her husband don’t hit the ball out of the park with their choices on dining out. Thankfully, I had my handy dandy iphone Unilocal app and talked my mom into trying a new spot for Chinese. Am I glad I did! Generous portions of freshly made yummy goodness, very inexpensive and the people there are just great. Now, this isn’t the best Chinese I’ve ever had, but, by golly, it’s the best Chinese food I’ve had in Fort Myers, hands down. We had the sesame chicken, pork fried rice and Chicken Chow Mei Fun. The Chicken Chow Mei Fun was amazing and I highly recommend trying it, folks. It’s a rice noodle with veggies and chicken. YUM! The sesame chicken would have been absolutely delicious if I’d only remembered to get the sauce on the side. The sauce was good; not too sweet. However, there was a bit too much of it and the chicken wasn’t as crispy as it could have been had I gotten it on the side. The pork fried rice was also very yummy. Overall, I was very pleased and plan to ask to go back next time we’re in the area visiting.
