First Watch

I have been to First Watch a couple of times and have always loved it. The food is great, it is fresh and there are plenty of healthy choices to choose from. Their pancakes are amazing! But make sure you’re really hungry if you order them, one pancake is the size of a dinner plate. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I have yet to have a poor experience there whether it be food or staff. This is the perfect place to go on a lazy weekend morning when you don’t want to cook breakfast!

I come here for breakfast on the weekends.
The food is delicious, healthy, affordable, and fresh.
The service is impeccable.
If they ever make a mistake, they always convey a heartfelt apology, followed by a generous offer to correct their mistake.
They accommodate guests expediently during busy hours.

Again, poor service takes away from otherwise good meal
I asked for suggestions for Vegetarians and what is most popular
She replied «it is all good»
Server said very rudely «Vegetarians do not eat Fish» when I ordered Salmon Eggs Benedict
Her tone and attitude were not appreciated, accurate or appropriate
She rushed us to order
Long wait for refills
Changed potato cooking method… they were not crispy or golden
Food was lukewarm… most likely sat a while before she picked up and brought to table
Could not send it back since she disappeared
Bread was not fresh or soft
Portions are small for price point
Other servers removed dishes from Table which we appreciated
Long wait standing in line to pay at the register

Overall a solid place, at times they struggle to put out hot potatoes. I get the same thing every time. The people I am with seem to like what they are eating pretty much every time we go as well.

The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because 10% of the time when I order my eggs over medium, they still come out very runny, however I am able to send them back and they fix the problem.
All of their staff is super friendly, very attentive and your food comes out pretty fast even when they are busy :)
All of their breakfast is great. I’m a big fan of the bacon & onion hash!
Their Italian Wedding soup is my FAVORITE! It’s problem not made from scratch, but its super great.

Great place for breakfast! Flavorful food, plenty of coffee, quick service– all good in our opinion. Parma hash yummy and the bacon/​cheddar pancake great balance of flavors! Our server Jamie was sweet and well informed about the business i.e. other locations etc a pleasure to chat with. Food is outstanding. We had the avocado hash, bacon onion hash and choc chip pancakes. Didn’t expect such huge portions but the quality is really good. Bacon is higher quality we noticed ;-) thicker, leaner and less salt. Delicious. Prices are really good too. Thumbs up here!

Loved First Watch when I went in St Louis area. so was happy to find one in Ft Myers! the menu is unique and fresh. I had the avocado bacon and tomato hash! Kim had the avocado toast!

Best breakfast in Fort Myers! There are not a lot of options for good and healthy breakfast in this area and this is by far the best I’ve had! The menu has so many options for whatever you’re in the mood for including healthy options, gluten free options, fresh made juices, and the standard breakfast items too! This is a must if you’re in the area. The avocado toast with 2 eggs any way is delicious! And the hashes are a great mix of lots of your favorite foods all in one. The prices are affordable and the staff are great. I can’t wait to come back!

Looking for a place with healthy, delicious options (&lots of them)? Look no further! We stayed in the area for about 5 days and had been searching for a good breakfast/​brunch place. People comment about the «wait time” — we waited 10 minutes on a busy Tuesday at 1030am or so. Not bad!!!
Coffee was good, and they give you your own carafe to refill :) Tried the juices (needed a vacation detox) — my boyfriend had the kale one, I had the carrot/​orange/​lemon/​ginger. Not the best I’ve ever had, but not bad. Refreshing and you could tell it was fresh. I had the avocado/​tomato/​bacon hash and it was delicious ! And like I said, menu was huge with lots of options. Our servers were attentive and friendly. Actually, all the staff were friendly and upbeat.

This place smells so good when you walk in: like breakfast is the happiest meal of the day. Coffee was delicious, and they left a carafe of coffee and water on the table for us.
The Turkey sausage links were fantastic, eggs over easy were perfect and I got them with fresh mixed baby greens. Perfect breakfast.
Good service. Next time we’re in town, def gonna eat here again.

Love the new makeover. The atmosphere is great and greatly needed in fort Myers. They are fast, kid friendly and have great food !

Frequent flier here on Sunday mornings. The last two Sunday’s have been far below par. Today our waitress was full of attitude. She was crappy from the get go, was annoyed the entire time and when she came to ask if everything was ok and I mentioned one meal had not been brought to the table she informed me with her very best «you dumbass» smile it would be there shortly. The prior Sunday when one meal was not delivered with the rest it didn’t come until everyone else was finished eating so I was skeptical. Either way, food is good when it makes it to the table, the wait staff could use some training.

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. Over all the quality is good. The staff was excellent… Value for your money just sucks. I see why it was full of knucklehead floridians.(no out state license plates) On whole they have no idea of good food or getting your value.
I was here at 1115 AM. I had to wait 5 minutes for a table. That’s ok food must be great and value too… WRONG…
I did not realize that this was a HEALTHY food eatery. MY mistake. I was SO wrong.
I had to ask for plain white sugar for my coffee. It was given to me in a little side dish. :-(

I got the beefeater sandwich. Where is the beef??? it was very thinly slice med rare BUT hardly any food for a real man to eat. It was good quality. BUT for 9 Bucks give me some food.
The so called horseradish on side that SUCK. Creamy and NO FLAVOR… NONE.
There was a salad of sorts on my plate. Just some over price greens with a splash maybe balsamic dressing. I got more on request.
Over all one of the worse value meals ever. I finished this in one swoop no take homes.
Let the money squanders and health nuts have this chain. Never more for me…

Just had breakfast at this restaurant.
When the food came I was shocked!
It was obvious that everything had been scattered across the plate to look like the plate was full, it wasn’t. Most of the food was cold, eggs were not cooked as ordered and the portions were SMALL!
The manager was sitting at a table close by doing his paperwork, however did not ask how things how the food was. Even when I tried to engage him in conversation, he did not want to be bothered– no personality!
Will not go back!

Totally acceptable breakfast place. Only gets three instead of four because it’s nothing you haven’t seen before. They have a tiny seasonal menu that means they’re trying, but the rest of their offerings are so generic that it could put foodies like me to sleep.
Their iced coffee is like. $ 4? Something like that. It comes pre-​sweetened and doesn’t include refills, and was like %70 ice. So when I was told my coffee party was about to end, I flat out took the CARAFE of coffee they left my dining partner and asked for some milk. I made my own, free of charge. And it was arguably better.
That being said, service was great and the vibe was relaxing. Obviously full of locals just wanting to get some breakfast, coffee, and read the paper.
I ordered ala carte (even though they don’t really have a section of the menu for that) and they backed me up.
I would go again, no problem.

I have been to First Watch plenty of times and I don’t know why I am just writing this now. For anyone who doesn’t know, First Watch is a brunch/​lunch type place. I usually don’t like big chain restaurants because I find their food overly fatty, salty, ect. However, First Watch is a very nice surprise. They have a large assortment of healthy breakfasts to choose from. If you would rather have dessert for breakfast (i.e. pancakes covered in syrup), they got you covered too. Out of the ones I have been too, they are all staffed by friendly employees. This is one of the few places where I can say I have never had a bad experience. I really enjoy going here for weekend brunch.

First Watch is a great option is you are looking for a fresh and healthy meal option.

Don’t have time for detailed review but wow ! What chain breakfast restaurants in a modern health aware society should aspire to be. I wish we had this in gulf breeze Florida. Juiced carrot and ginger, kale salads, avocado and egg over whole grains. We have wild roots on the beach but they don’t have the on site seat in and vibe to really take off.

My father loves this joint and after his ravings, he brought me here and now I’m a fan myself!
Service is friendly with servers who are clearly morning people (they open early so that makes sense). I like how they give you pitchers of water/​coffee when you order any of those drinks; makes it convenient so you don’t have to ask for any refills. It’s also nice they keep the sweeteners, creams and condiments on the table so you don’t have to ask for those as well.
Food is delicious, unique and with character. Their omelettes, especially the works and the baconator are my favorite. Plus their fruit sides are fresh and refreshing. If breakfast isn’t your thing, they have solid sandwiches and salads which can be entrees or a «pick 2» type of deal. Plus prices are very friendly on the wallet so you can enjoy a nice meal without breaking the bank.
Overall a solid spot for brunch/​breakfast or a light meal. Just make sure you show up early cause they shut down at 2:30 PM!
