Catch 22 Live Music & Sports Bar

One of the bartenders (Mike) was a complete asshole to my friends and I, told me to go F**** off and had been rude to us all night. We had been going there for a few months after work and never came to check on us that night. We saw him go out to some chicks car making out while he was on the clock. Finally, we had to go get someone else to get us drinks. We left with our bill being over $ 150. You can say Catch 22 just lost 4 good paying customers.

Great place in Fort Myers to hear some live music and grab a drink. Lots of TVs to watch the game and bartenders are great.

Went here for UFC pay per view last night. We arrived about 7 pm. There was 1 bar tender trying his best. Service was alright but as the night went on it became busier and busier the very small staff could not provide service. We had in mind to order food but by the time we were attended to it had been so long we decided it would take far too long.
The owner was pointed out to me who one could not differentiate between a customer and a member of the staff. A member of our party actually went up and spoke with him and explained they were under staffed and we were not receiving very good service. The owner told us it was a busy night and continued to mingle and drink with his friends rather than help his staff. At one point another table whom was either friends or regulars were getting a bit restless waiting for they’re beer, then again with their food. Only when it were his friends complaining did the owner set his drink down to move and deliver their beer and their food.
I could not imagine making such an investment then having no pride, work ethic, or dedication to quality service. And to sit back and have a drink while your restaurant/​bar struggles to keep its customers from leaving hungry and thirsty. There is actually more I could say but it would be as they say beating a dead horse. If the previous owners had developed any positive reputation it is gone now. At least the property and location are still salvageable. Unless they change their attitude this place will be for sale at a steal of a price. Interested entrepreneurs might check back here in 6 – 8 months if it’s not already sold.

We have been there before and the food was good last night we went there and the food was horrible the nachos were cold the cheese was hard the chicken wings were tough. There was only one waitress and she seemed to forget about us most of the time you can try and go to this place but you may not like it

I work close to this place so my co workers go a lot. It’s good for a beer and a snack after a few of those beers. The two stars is mostly for the beer and the Wednesday Karaōke host, she is awesome! I’ve been here for dinner and told that because they didn’t have their normal chef we could only order a pizza and then 5 minutes later a giant plate of nachos goes to the table next to us and when we ask why they didn’t have to only get pizza the waitress, no joke said, «because they are regulars». I had to walk to the bar twice to get a refill on my drink because the waitress never came back and I had to go to the bar a third time to get my bill. Just awful. I hope they worked out their kinks.
Revised: I have now lowered my stars from two to one for this place base completely on service! I walk into the place on a Sunday night while the football game is on and you’d think a «sport type bar» that has the game playing and have football specials would be happy that I was there, instead I was informed that the kitchen was shut down and treated like an inconvenience as they closed around me and three other people I was with. We got basically forced out before the game was even done with the third quarter… I arrived just before half time. This 100% falls on management and customer service. Standards people.

Came to Catch-​22 with a couple of friends to grab some drinks, hang out, play a little pool. Beer selection was pretty decent and was given a bit of info on the local offerings from the bartender who seemed pretty nice. Pool is cheap and there’s plenty of younger people here, so decent vibe.
The reason for the two star review? When we arrived we asked how late they were open until and told 2am. We got there a little after 12 am so planned on staying at least an hour. After shooting pool and ordering multiple beers we were the only trio left at the bar. Around 12:55 we were told by the staff collectively that we had to go. They were all counting the money from the bar at the booths (which is totally fine with me, I’m in the industry and don’t care about that) However, when someone goes to order a beer during a time period you were told you’d be serving, that’s just poor service. We would only have stayed another ten minutes to have one last drink. Will not return when I’m back in the Ft. Myers area unless a decent band is playing.

I LOVE this place! The band, the energy, the ambience, food and drinks, the sexy tall bartender. That special Man made me one of the best Mojitos I have ever had in my life, made with basil! Fantastic… The food, is hands down!!! Easy parking. All around fun night! Oooo and plenty of entertainment: basketball, jumbo jenga, cornhole, pool, prop-​karaōke (wed), bitchen live band and so much more. Pretty much my new favorite place in town! Highly suggest.

A Key West style/​theme bar. Fun atmosphere. We didn’t eat but did go for drinks. A nice selection of beers both bottled and on tap. The owner threw himself a birthday bash and hit the stage singing various songs; opened up for a duet that played guitar and violin (covered a out of Dave Matthews Band tunes).
Lots of seating both inside and out. I saw several plates of wings and they looked good. It was a mixed crowd; young, old, black, white and everything in between. Casual dress code. The beer at the main/​center bar was colder than the patio bar. We got pitchers of Yuengling and Fat Tire.

Awful food– bland frozen fish and still cold fries. Slightly warm beer and clueless server. The outdoor seating and open to outdoors bar idea is nice. Music scene is so so but really just reminds me of the Buddha dive bar with more lighting. If you’re looking for a better place to sit and have a cold drink I suggest the Edison or even Hooters. The place could of been great but is a swing and a miss.

Two stars… One for service. The other is for potential… Where does one begin? 13 bucks for 2 small Mrs. PAULS frozen fish fillets that were overfried in under heated oil, sitting upon a platter of underwhelming and over portioned fries (to disguise the fish?)
Cup of homemade lobster bisque with not even an ounce garnish of lobster… way too salty, making it inedible. Two empanadas with a seasoned ground beef and potato filling. The homemade dough is seasoned with lard and love so how can you go wrong. It’s too bad they don’t make up for the bisque and sad fish platter. Such potential. This place should be filled at lunchtime.
Tropic hippy chic décor. Indoor seating for Floridians! For this place to have stayed in business they must be doing a HUGE bar service.

Located in Royal Palm Square, we stopped in because of a coupon — never knew it existed before that. Had a GREAT experience & will definitely be back. This is a bar/​restaurant with both inside and outside seating. Fairly quiet during dinner hours but I hear it gets a lot wilder later. Live music 3 or more nights a week. Service was prompt & very friendly. My wife had a burger — ½ lb of angus beef, cooked to order perfectly and only $ 6.99 WOW! I had the Jacked up Caesar salad — large, tasty w just the right mix of bacon, avocado, cheese, and grilled chicken. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.

All I can say is WOW, thank you Fort Myers for getting someplace fun. The people there are great. They have some nice drink specials but I mostly love the entertainment. Great music, no cover charge, good drink prices. What’s not to love. I have to admit, I have not really eaten there much, but what I had was great. They have a nice selection.
I will be back on Friday.

Been here twice and had great experiences. Ordered the fish fry the first time and it was excellent! My husband and I shared the Touchdown app the next time and we loved every bite! It was so much food that we both couldn’t order dinner. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Love the live music!!!

Great food, too much, quick service, in the Royal Palm Square on Colonial ave

Came here because of the hype. Extremely disappointed to say the least. We came to watch the gators game– ordered 4 simple meals. 2 cheesesteaks, etc. it took them 1 and 17 min. 4 tables ordered and left and we were still waiting for our meals. Extremely unacceptable. Manager came to our table towards the end. Bad management to say the least considering the situation at hand. Don’t waste your time or money. Hope this helps

This review is from a family point of view. They don’t put the prices for the kids menu. It is very very loud to bring your kids in. It also took 40 minutes for barfood. That’s a very long time just to keep your kids entertained. Then it ended up being almost 6 dollars for a thing of nachos with just cheese. I think it be a great place to go after work or if you just want average food.

Food is very bland! The pizza has no taste and the burger was awful! Live music was so loud that we couldn’t even hear each other talk! Disappointing! We won’t be back!

Went for my birthday lunch with my dad and was anticipating a tasty meal on a beautiful day. Not to be, unable to sit outside to enjoy the FL sunshine due to smokers including cigars. It was freezing inside and the food was tasteless except for the chili fries (they were excellent). Won’t go back
