Tried to eat here on a Thursday day night late on the recommendations of friends that live near by. By reading Unilocal and tripadvisor I can assume they make a decent taco and mostly for take as you order at a window in full view of the kitchen, there was a short wait for the ordering process, a plus I guess. It’s was 945 and people standing in line waiting to order. Must be decent food. While we were patiently waiting we noticed that what looked like very young people’s sitting on the few picnic tables available to eat on here. They were not eating, just hanging out and talking with their nearly bare ass’s on the tables. Looked to be friends of the owner or friends of the young people’s working here. We decided not to eat here as we did not want to eat in the car. This place should be better managed.

Two steak tacos and two chicken tacos on flour tortillas and chips with queso(ordinary nacho cheese) $ 20.50. Messed up the ordered and the«cook» argued that he got it correct(missing the two chicken tacos). Order taker Kameron was great but frustrated with«the cook». Friends got two steak tacos each; the other friend ordered two steak tacos but paid for sour cream(missing). The meat on all tacos flavorless and dang near missing(at $ 4.50 each should’ve been more). Tacos are served on corn tortillas and the pico de galo had mushy tomatoes and nothing that was supposed to be cold was cold. Over all — 1 star.

The chicken burrito I got tasted like the chicken came from a can. The rice had zero flavor. My friend liked it but I would dread going back

I had a beef burrito and it was ok but that’s about it, it was not an authentic style burrito at all, it tasted like canned ingredients and the meat was over seasoned with your typical taco seasoning packet… I’m guessing. The chips were good! I Think they make those in house, the pico de gallo was tasty, I believe it’s probably much better if you’re hung over and/or drunk.

Great spot with fresh food and delicious food may I add. Just by the look of the place you can tell it is one of the best in the island. It is the best Mexican food on the island. This place is a must have when in Fort Myers and I would recommend it to anyone.

Got a burrito and it was pure trash, I also paid $ 10 for it and it will not fill you up at all. I could make a better burrito for $ 4. It’s definitely convenient but honestly the tacos at the bar at the lani Kai that are $ 1.50 are the same quality.

Great late night spot with fresh ingredients and friendly employees. I can’t figure out why people are complaining about the price… every restaurant off of Estero is pricey because it’s geared towards tourists. I paid $ 8 for the best steak quesadilla that I’ve ever had and would do it again x 100! There was zero grease(which reminds me of the authentic stuff from Mexico) and they made it with a little kick when I mentioned I like spicy food. Even the salsa seemed to be made fresh – not out of a jar! Worth the wait(if there is a line) and the price IMO.

The veggie quesadilla did not have veggies and has rice, beans, and pico de gallo. No grilled onions or peppers at a taco joint? My husband ordered two soft tacos, one chicken and one steak… and the meat was completely cold! The chips were not fresh but the guacamole was okay. Highly inflated tourist prices for mediocre food. I recommend going down to Bonita Beach Road where there is an authentic taco stand for better prices.

The food and service at Yo! Taco were terrible. The employees that we interacted with were unnecessarily rude. Simple questions, like asking for a fork, were met with annoyed responses. The staff’s top concern was with chatting with an off-shift coworker that showed up right after we did. The food was incredibly bland. All three of our meals tasted like they were made with canned ingredients. I think that I could make a better burrito at home and next time, I will do so to save myself from having to return.

Good guacamole and chips. Little Donkey and Big Donkey are too close in size, but not price. Go with the Little Donkey because all their burritos will leave you a tad on the hungry side.

Really awesome beach food. Fresh ingredients with great tastes. You may have to wait in line for awhile but it’s worth the wait!

This place did a great job. We had tacos for thanksgiving and the place was packed. The cook was manning the register and preparing the tacos. Great job and awesome fresh tacos!

I’ve been eating here since they opened several years ago. The food is always fresh, very reasonably priced(especially compared to just about every other restaurant on the beach), and made fast. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Don’t feel like I need to be dressed up to dine, and everyone else around you seems to be enjoying the experience equally. They’re open late and the full menu is available all the time– so I can get a delicious quesadilla made to order or a delectable«donkey» burrito with all my favorite veggie toppings whenever the mood strikes!

Ehh! This place is cute. We had the beef tacos. The tortilla are store bought. The lettuce was not chopped finely or even. The tomatoes looked like they were chopped by a five year old. Also had the steak taco. The steak was not seasoned well. The beef one was better. We also had a chicken fajita taco which was pretty ok. I’m from Texas so I know good Mexican food. And that is nothing good! Maybe other stuff is good but not the tacos!

Disappointed with the donkey burrito. I was expecting something unique out of this place. For the price, quality, and flavor the food is average.

Awesome food, decently priced, open late, and super fast friendly service. Make sure to tell them if it is to go they will pack it up for you. They also jeep water down for your dog if your out on a stroll with the furry family members.

Good food! Super friendly service. The chicken nachos are super great! They even have a bowl of water sitting out for your dogs to take a sip from on a hot day.

I ordered a veggie taco with no cheese, but I didn’t find any veggies on my taco other than the tomato and onion that comes in the salsa! I was disappointed because it was definitely lacking in flavor and spices :( 3 stars because my family seemed to enjoy their tacos and the staff was friendly and accommodating when I asked about their vegan options.

This place was raved about by a co-worker — I wasn’t that impressed. They were decent tacos. The pico style salsa was good and tasted fresh. Nothing tasted bad just nothing to write home about. My only other major gripe was the ‘queso’ was nacho cheese — orange cheese from a can … Maybe even a dispenser. This stand could be killer! Chorizo, FISHTACOS, fresh produce — mango salsa I’m mean they could be killing it. They could season their meat a little better and that would kill it! The chips were tasty — thicker and the tortillas were also good. Overall — very lack luster… price was good 3 adults 2 kids — about $ 30.
