Great resort. I highly recommend this resort. It has the following items: great pool, all rooms face the pool, gas grills, bikes and chairs complimentary, cross the street to the bird sanctuary which leads to the beach, people are really nice, the manager was very nice & friendly, rooms have been updated, all rooms have 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, nice showers, complimentary pool towels, laundry in rooms, clean, safe, and about 10 – 15 minutes from Times Square in Ft Myers & 25 minutes from Sanibel & Tanger Outlet Mall.

The biggest bonus of Tropical Sands Resort is their location. First, they are far enough away from the busier downtown/​Times Square area so you can enjoy some piece and quiet, while still being able to head downtown when you want to. Second, there is beach access right across the street that leads you onto a beautiful lagoon and bird sanctuary where you can witness all kinds of great wildlife in action, and a short walk later you are able to kick back on the beach.
