Had breakfast here three times while staying in FMB. Loved the décor. It’s like being in your grandmothers house and she has way too many nic nacs. Especially if it has to do with a cow. Outside they have a machine that you can buy food to feed the turtles, fish and ducks in the pond and even though it’s in a little strip mall it feels like you’re at an amusement park. My first meal was a short stack of blueberry pancakes. At first I assumed a short stack was a SHORTSTACK not two, big as the plate pancakes, loaded with fresh blueberries. I can’t image finishing a normal stack. My hubby ordered steak and eggs and it came with home fries and a wide array of sides, toast, muffin, grits, bagel, biscuits, biscuits and gravy LOL. It was all to overwhelming for him to decide. All of our meals here were breakfast and no complaints about any of them. The staff is like also like being with family. You feel like your at grandma’s, aunt or uncle’s house and where they fed you way to much.

It’s important to know they take CASHONLY. They serve an inexpensive and delicious breakfast! The 4 egg omelets are as big as your face. If you’re ordering French toast, 1 piece is enough for a person — it is not normal slices of bread. We call it French Loaf. You have to try it– so good!

Exactly what you would expect from a small, humble café. Great food, great service and not overloaded by the spring breakers.

I have breakfast here at least once a week. I live a few streets down so it’s really easy for me to walk there and on certain days I’ll take my pup with me. She’s always welcomed with a cheery greeting and sometimes the servers give her a slice of bacon upon her arrival. Out side seating is great! The little man made pond they have outside has koi fish and turtles swimming around and that’s always fun to look at. I’ve ordered pretty much everything on the menu and it’s ALL good. My favorite? Their Almond Waffle. They bake the nuts right inside the waffle, yum!!! Their omelets are huge(I always get the spinach omelet and bacon to it) and their home fries delish! They also have hazelnut coffee which I absolutely LOVE accompanied with their home made biscuit and drizzle that in honey. well need I say more? Not only is the food and the atmosphere awesome but their service is speedy and super friendly. What more could you ask for??!

We stopped here for breakfast and it did not disappoint! This little restaurant is tucked in a strip mall but it has a cute outdoor area with a pond. The pond is filled with fish and turtles so I recommend sitting outside. Justin was our server and he was great! He recommended the apple silver dollar pancakes and they were fresh and delicious. My husband got the country fried steak. Everything was wonderful! Its cash only so dont forget your cash. I recommend this tiny restaurant for breakfast!!!

This place is excellent! A slew of different traditional breakfast menu choices and new ones to explore. They were able to easily accommodate 8 people in our party. Friendly, fun atmosphere. Others in the restaurant claimed this was the best breakfast restaurant in Ft. Myers Beach!

CASHONLYPLACE I was actually headed to Heavenly Biscuit untill I realized they were closed and came across this place and I’m so glad I did. They have a southern cow bell look and it’s super cute. We walked in and sat down and then realized it’s a cash only place:(so we walked around the corner to ATM in the Hardware store and came back. Let me start this off by saying OMG can we say these portions are ridiculously huge!!! Wow Gerri was my server and she was awesome! She recommended a few items and then I seen the daily special and decided to go with the meat lover omelette. It was served with fried potatoes or grits and toast, English muffin, or biscuit all for $ 11 something. Talk about a whole bunch of food, I couldn’t even finish my meal and that’s clearly unusual for me. My omelette was so delish they took meat lover to a whole another level. My potatoes were over cooked and hard so I didn’t eat them but not like I needed anymore carbs anyway lol. My friend ordered two French toast and some sausage patties and there’s was crazy big as well. I think the French toast is actually Cuban bread sliced hince the huge pieces. They couldn’t even finish their meal either again unsual. We were so stuffed when we left we didn’t even wanna go to the beach anymore, we were ready for a nap. So we walked over to beach and slept it off in the sun!!! Thanks for the awesome breakfast last Monday Gerri.

We just ate here this morning before we go home to Chicago and the food was fabulous!!! I got the corn beef hash and home fries with corn bread(IT’S the good kind that’s sweet and not bland tasting) and my hubby got the eggs Benedict and home fries. Also, we shared 1 piece of French toast. Yes, 1 piece. 1 piece is the size of a football. This place is super cozy and the staff is so friendly!!! Definitely check it out. Oh, P. S.CASHONLY!!!

Absolutely the best coffee on the island. Ethiopian and hazelnut… If you’re a coffee snob you’re not going to forget it. Also if you have children probably the best place to go you can feed the fishes and turtles. And the food is perfect.

Pancakes are huge, if you normally order 2 you will only need 1. Sausage was amazing. Only downside was service, bit slow to order, and finalising check. Also had four different servers during our meal.

Food portions are outrageous! They won’t do ½ orders. Food was cold when we got it(for our party of 5) :/. Very small inside.

Really, super great value for the price. You definitely will go home wishing you’d ate less. The service was pretty standard. My one gripe with this place is they are cash only which was a pain since the nearest ATM isn’t right next door. There’s really no excuse these days.

After what we had heard and read we were excited about eating there. We got there before the Sunday morning rush, which wasn’t far behind us. The wife got the special apple pancakes. They were very dry and obviously were microwaved. Very rubbery. My fried potatoes were disappointing. The only half way good thing was the seafood omelet. Nothing exceptional just OK. The service was likewise acceptable but certainly could of been better. I hope we just caught them on a bad day. Would I go back. … I’m not sure… You decide

Nice, cute, small town café feel. Seat yourself. We were at a long table, and random strangers just sit by you. I am okay with this because I can talk to anybody! If you are more private wait for a smaller one. I was shocked when I opened the menu and saw how reasonable the prices were. I ordered the seafood omelette with fried potatoes(extra crispy) and your choice of toast, biscuits, or pancakes. I picked the pancakes. The seafood omelette was full of shrimp and scallops! Fried potatoes were nice and crisp. My sister had the homemade French toast with fresh strawberries. Also a ½ of an order of biscuits and gravy. I didn’t try the French toast because I would have been stabbed with a fork. But the biscuits were the best I’ve ever had. So light and fluffy, not in anyway dense. If your staying on the beach and are needing some good reasonable home cooking, try this spot.

I went twice between Christmas and New Years 2014. The food was good(very North East diner breakfast: exactly what I wanted), and the prices were very good. The service was a hit or miss. The first time we went, the waitress was great. The 2nd time, we were treated rather poorly, and watched 4 tables get seated after us, order after us, eat before us and get their tab before we got our food, despite them being larger parties. In summary, it got the job done if you want eggs, bacon, toast and coffee for breakfast, but it wasn’t memorable in any way shape or form.
