MattressLand & Furniture

We recently bought a new home in Laughlin and needed furniture for the whole house. We had already looked at many furniture stores in the area but we weren’t finding much that appealed to us. We thought we would need to go to Phoenix to shop at AFW when we happened to walk into the new Mattress Land & Furniture store location in Bullhead City. We saw several pieces that we liked and took some measurements. The store owner, Joey, was there and he assured us he would work with us to get a good deal. The next day we checked out the Ft. Mohave store and saw even more pieces we liked. In both locations, when you walk into the store they offer you bottled water and they let you look around on your own, but if you have questions they are more than happy to assist. None of the sales people are on commission and it really makes a difference in the shopping experience. (I can’t stand being followed around by salespeople looking to make a sale, which is what happened at RC Willey in Las Vegas so we didn’t buy anything from them!) We ended up buying two dining room tables/​chairs, sofa, love seat, bedroom set, two mattresses and bed frames for spare bedrooms, and a Tempur-​Pedic mattress for ourselves that we didn’t intend to buy when we started this process (but oh so worth it!). Joey stayed true to his word and he made us a good deal on everything. Delivery was free but normally for just one delivery. Since some of our furniture had to be ordered and we had nothing to sleep on, Joey agreed to make two deliveries. Turns out we ended up having three deliveries since they made a special trip to replace one of the dining room chairs that had a slight imperfection in the cloth seat. After sitting in those same chairs for about a week we noticed some of the seats were getting lumpy to the touch (not visibly). We took the chairs back to the store and Joey replaced them with new chairs (they think it may have been a bad batch of foam used to make the seats). On the final delivery that included a dining room table, we thought we were getting four chairs but we got six instead (our fault for missing that on the receipt) and they happily took the two extra chairs back to the store and gave us a full refund. All said, the service we got was great from everyone including the delivery drivers who delivered and set up our furniture. The team at Mattress Land is first class!

Excellent service! We found this place by chance when we were out furniture shopping. They do have mattresses but more on point is the fantastic selection of all types of furniture. Bedroom sets, kitchen/​dining room sets, living and family room sets. All at great prices. When we need additional furniture this will be our first stop.
